I found myself in a wing of the house where I hadn't been before; there were demon women and fallens all over, resting on mats, sitting at tables eating and playing card games. One of the demons looked up at me and beckoned for me to join her. She sat there lighting a cigarette and took a puff before she turned to me with her turquoise eyes.

 

“You're new here, and not forced to dress like us, hmm very peculiar, are you an angel?” She questioned, I thought to tell her but I wanted to forget that part of my past and answered.

 

“Yes only an angel.” She nodded and took another puff and asked again, “He has never had an angel before here, ether that or you're the special goddess he wants us all to be. He is a sick fucker.” She laughed hard and looked again at me with her eyes.

 

“Be warned he will try because shit that man, demon whatever he is I'll tell you what, there isn't one girl that hasn't had to go through that one time or the other. Like I said he is a sick fucker thinking we were the messiah and pretending he was doing her.” I turned away with the thought of being with such a man.

 

“He won't touch me if he knows what's best for him.” I informed, crossing my arms. She smirked sucked on the cigarette and put it out in the ash tray.

 

“I like your spirit kid, how old are you?” She said beckoning someone else over.

 

“18.” I responded turning to see the girl coming. She had black hair with a red streak, short red shorts, a black and red tube top and same style knee socks with black heels. She had golden eyes like the demon I had fought before. I turned to study the woman I had just talked to, her dark brown hair pulled into a messy bun, same shoes, shorts and shirt except blue and dark colored skin, like a fallen. The other girl sat opposite of me and leaned her head on her hand and waited for the woman to tell her what to do.

 

“Reiketsu, this here is an angel of only 18, a beauty and she gets special treatment.” She says gesturing to me. The other girl glances at me then back to the other woman.

 

“Well I reckon the psycho will be havin' a new toy. What do ya think Sensai?” She said nodding her towards me. She shook her head which surprised Reiketsu. “Why not?”

 

“Because I think this angel here is special to the fucker.” She said smiling at me than at the other girl.

 

“What the hell! Why?! We never were treated with care!” she cried tears running down her face, smearing her make up. I picked up my sleeve and whipped the tears and smeared make up from her face, still in the tattered dress I was wearing. Shocked at my kindness both stared at me with their eyes clear about the emotions I was feeling.

 

“Why is such a nice angel like y'all self doing here?” Rei questioned rubbing her face now. I could tell they liked me because I didn't act like all the others here.

 

“I guess because I'm alone.” I responded trying not to give anything away.

 

“Well you don't have to worry anymore, were here.” Sensai told running a hand through my hair. Then a girl dressed in green and had blond haired strutted in and walked over to our table.

 

“Lord Shiyou doesn't want you down here, this is not the place for a high ranking concubine.” She said grinning.

 

“Concubine! To hell with that, I am not even his friend! He can fuck off for all I care!” I spat back glaring at the girl. She slapped me and everyone grew grim as I turned and laid a punch directly in her face hard. She got up and tried to hit me but I dodged easily and sat back down smirking the entire time at her.

 

“I guess master hasn't told you about me, hmm that's a good thought.” I said waving my hand at her, to go away. She growled and stomped off as the whole room clapped at my actions and I felt happy as I sat back down.

 

“So where does an angel stay an' way?” Rei said lying on the table. I laughed and told them about my room, in awe of the part of the house where I got to stay in, that they only got to visit when he “called” upon them. I asked if they could come if I wanted them two, they looked at each other and guessed it would be ok, so grabbing them I pulled them through the halls up the stairs passed all the shocked maids until we were upstairs. I pushed the doors open and in a rush of air they stepped in and went straight for the bed. I stood in the doorway with a smirk on my face, this would be nice to have friends here. I arranged for them to stay in my room, the king size bed was too big for just me besides I know I would feel lonely in a bed with memories.

We stayed up every night just talking like silly girls and talking about all our dreams, mine being normal. The two talked about boyfriends they had that they really wanted to see again.

 

“My boyfriend, I called `im boo, reely got on his nerves, but you know he loved it so.” Rei sighed thinking about him. “He had dark red hair that was to his shoulders, his beautiful black eyes and that strength, he was a fire demon, but when Shiyou invaded it all went ta hell! She cried out. I laughed and turned to Sensai.

 

“Well, he was beautiful, blue hair and green eyes, a wind demon, really rare hell, even his personality was rare. Such a hunk too, you just wanted to kiss the hell out of him too!” She exclaimed laughing and lighting her famous cigarettes. They looked at for my story but I really just said I didn't have one and they found it weird but didn't press the subject.

“Hey Liana, you remember seeing a blond girl in green down there?” Sensai asked. I nodded and took a sip of my drink.

 

“Yea I do, what was her problem, all high and mighty.” I said looking in their direction.

 

“She is the fucker's bitch and spy, right Rei?” She said to the southern sounding demon. Rei nodded and frowned. “She and Lucille have had issues in the past, her boyfriend was once dating Lucille.” Rei looked up and put a smile on but I could tell there were some problems.

 

“So why do you mention her?” I asked waiting.

 

“Because she tells on anything, to get in the good graces of his.” Rei said bringing her knees to her chin. I nodded but thought it would be fun to mess with Shiyou and Lucille.

 

“Well it has been two weeks now and no trouble so what would you all say to a shopping trip?” I asked smiling hoping to make the ambiance a little happier. They both went bug eyed and nodded slowly.

 

“Are you sure the bitch won't get on you about that?” Sensai asked, I shook my head no.

 

“No because he said I can do whatever I want, so tomorrow early we are going to have you all dressed the way you want!” and I slipped under the covers and got ready to sleep, one on each of my side as we snuggled together, awaiting the morning.

 

Though I wanted to sleep, my mind wandered to what had happened two weeks ago, I saw the fight play over and over and the same words come from the woman and then the confirmation from Caid. My heart hurt, my images of the past fights, the deaths, my family the past I was sweating without waking up. I knew that I had cried out and that tears were running down my face from my memories being played over and over. A horror film with no end, only the same film on repeat and when I did finally sit up, Sensai and Rei were up fanning me and worried out of their minds.

 

“Liana, you were cryin'.” Rei said wiping the tears on my face and a cool cloth laid on my forehead.

 

“We couldn't get you to wake up, geez scared the shit out of me!” Sensai yelled. I laughed and hugged her and Rei tightly, while checking the time.

 

“I think now we should get up and get ready for a fun day!” I said scooting out of the sheets that were wrapped around my legs. The laughed and got up too, we moved down the streets, going through all the shops and buying large amounts of clothes. Now Sensai wore a British flag shirt, black jeans and black sandals, Rei wore capris, purple skirt, a purple shirt an had her hair in pig tails, they looked like their personalities and it was quite nice for a change.

We walked into a jewelry shop and I looked in the cases then at my hand where the ring use to be. I guess I must have flung it at him as I ran out of the building, but it didn't matter right now. We exited and as we walked down the streets I had a feeling that someone was watching and following me, I turned and didn't see anyone at first then I watched carefully and saw silver hair. His strong features and silver hair with its single braid made him stand out in the crowd and my heart jumped into my throat as I saw his eyes meet with mine. I could feel what he was thinking but backed away, I grabbed them and tried to pull away before my heart overwhelmed my common sense. I felt him moving to catch up but I pushed through and got as far away as possible.

 

“What was the rush girl?” Rei asked panting. I turned away a tear clinging to the inside of eye.

 

“Nothing.” I said plainly. They confused as ever tried to get me to cheer up, but I wanted to just go home. We walked home slowly, no one said anything but as soon as we set foot in the house Shiyou walked into the room, frowning.

 

“Girls leave us, I need to talk to Liana alone.” He said glaring at them.

 

“We'll leave if Liana wants us to!” Sensai spoke up. Shiyou glared at me then at her. I waved my hand and they left the room.

 

“Your behavior has caused some problems, those two girls I finally broke in and then you come and give them hope! Liana I don't ask much but maybe I should!” He reached out for my hand and tried to pull me towards him but my sai was on his throat in a heart beat.

 

“Don't forget why I am here. Don't touch either one of them or me!” I pulled the weapon down and stormed out of the room. I walked upstairs in a rush and pushed the doors open, inside was the blond demon girl and others from the other side of the manor. Four of them had Sensai and Rei by the arms and were holding them back.

 

“Let them go! Your fight is with me!” I yell glaring at them at my sides and in front, some moved away but the blond glared back and laughed with a smirk.
