Prologue

Bastion Hollow, the one place that had haunted me. Now, a group of new villains, all still loyal to the dead Ansem, has come to occupy the castle. The shadowed Heartless didn't go away like we, I and Mickey, had originally planned; they just multiplied into a larger force. However, the shadowed Heartless were still under my control.

At least, that's what I had hoped.

I returned to Hollow Bastion, after the mouse king and I parted, hoping to destroy the Heartless. I had volunteered to go to the source of the Heartless while he returned to his kingdom to check on everything. He had planned on meeting me at Hollow Bastion when he had checked up on everything, but as the weeks passed, I still had no contact of him.

While I waited for the mouse king to return, I had to keep up appearances with the Ansem followers that had invited themselves over, expecting me to welcome them with open arms. Even as they plotted to find the key bearer, Sora, I waited for the mouse. But he never came.

Finally, the new villains thought it time to act. They had found Sora, and the mouse king. I had paid as much attention to their plan of action to destroy Sora and Mickey, hoping that I would get to the two before these ugly bastards got to them first. I heard they were in Traverse Town, and the mouse king was going to leave them and meet someone here.

It was then I knew they knew about me.

I was standing in a projection room alone. I had missed my islands, though I never knew I would. Destiny Islands were my home, though I never did appreciate them as the sniveling little brat I used to be. Now that I had grown up, I took in consideration for the lonely islands, and I was proud that I had lived there.

However, my appreciation was cut short when the projection was shut off, and I was surrounded by my own shadow minions, along with the ugly bastards that I had deceived in thinking I was their friend.

Naraku (Inuyasha), a man who likes to hide in a baboon suit, stepped forward out of the shadows.

"I'm sorry," he said. "Did we interrupt you?"

I growled. "What do you want?" I never really did like Naraku, let alone respect him. He was the one who always wanted the full power, though the others always kept him check.

Naraku just smirked.

I growled even louder, though I knew I didn't even scare his bunny slippers. "Heartless, attack!" I shouted, pointing at Naraku. However, they didn't move. The stayed in the circle around, only prepared for when they are ordered to attack me; I knew it.

A low, manly laughter was heard behind me. I spun around to see Sergei (Geneshaft), a tall, blond man, walk from the shadows as Naraku had done.

"Don't try anything, Riku," Sergei said, saying my name filled with venom. He never really liked me, but at least I respected him a little bit, compared to Naraku, who was, at the moment, standing behind me, my back completely open to any attack he might pull on me.

"We know about you," Naraku said. I turned my head to him, and glared at him. "You do know we have a psychic, don't you? He can see anything and everything that goes through your mind."

I nodded. "Yes, Pegasus (Yu Gi Oh). He's the one who told us about Sora and King Mickey."

Naraku nodded. "He also told us about you."

"When was this planning on coming out?" Sergei said, stepping around the circle of Heartless to stand next to Naraku.

I rolled my eyes. "You're acting as if I slept with Yubaba (Spirited Away)." We all three grimaced with disgust. I don't know where that idea came from, but wasn't it sounding like that's what these two were implying?

"No," Sergei said, grimacing. "We're not talking about anything of that sort."

Naraku sighed. "Thank God."

"Now, what we were talking about was your position."

I stared around myself. "I really hope you didn't witness my night with Lilith (Vamp. Princess Miyu)."

"No, about what side you're loyalties are on."

"You slept with Lilith?" Naraku asked, staring at me with wide eyes.

I smirked. I knew that Naraku was practically in love with her, but I couldn't help it! She came onto me!

"I'm on your side, of course," I said to Sergei, who also looked angry that I mentioned my night with Lilith.

He shook his head. "That's not what Pegasus told us. He said that you were on Sora's side."

Then they did know. There was something in my gut, the whole time I was in the same room with any of the new villains, that they knew what I was up to. Now, I was sure they knew. It was no use hiding it now.

"I am. What do you care?"

Naraku chuckled, and Sergei smirked.

"That's all the proof we needed," Sergei said. He raised his hand, pointed at me, and one of my worries came true. "Attack," he told the Heartless.

I was soon jumped upon by the Heartless that I had no longer any control over. I tried to fight back, but it was no use. I soon found unconsciousness, and I had lost.
