(Power of Omni: The Second Revival)

Year 4116, the planet called Tiera, in the Cosmic Universe, ozone layer got torn a part by an unknown outside force. Most major cities got burned to the ground and the forests instantly change into dusts. As a direct result of the event, more then 70% of the forest is destroyed and water is now extremely scarce.

After several long years the ozone layer soon stabilized with several million people still alive and a few advance cities still standing. Even with thousand years of advance technology, the humans are left defenseless to revive the ozone layer.

The year is now 4375 and everyone is living life like normal. The humans rebuilt their cities with the few oasis acting like hearts of the cities. Some humans begin searching the ruins of the past finding prophets that tells about that the Ancients, the people that once ruled the planet in the past., predicting about the destruction of Tiera.

The Ancients uses most of their spiritual powers to create a powerful item that can revive the planet. They seal the item in a far away place hidden away to prevent anyone that is not pure to taint it. The power of the item is so powerful that forest begins to grow in the surrounding area. When the time comes, the one who is chosen can release the power of the time to bring life back to the planet.

Millions of people are now looking for the forest and especially the item to keep it for themselves and sell it on the neo black market. The most powerful and well-known organization on the planet is called the Seeker, who wants the item. They believe by having the fate of the planet in their hands, they will become gods and rule over everyone.

If they meet someone who has information they will extract them with brutal force and kill them without hesitation. They are ruthless, cruel, and coldhearted to anyone including innocent women and child. A male and female who were archeologist found a never before seen prophet that tells the location of the forest and the key. The ruin begins to collapse as they barely escape death but the Seekers were outside waiting for them.

The leader of the Seekers was there and wanted the item that they evacuated within the ruins. The two refuse and the leader order them to be killed but one of the soldiers betrays the organization and help the two escape. They take refuge at a small city far away from the organization as the two archeologists settle in and have a son named Kaine. The ex-Seeker soldier also settles down and become a friend to the family and in three years, also had a son.

Four years later an Ancient appears and tells the three about the forest seal and that the fate of the planet rests in the two children. The following day the Seekers invade the city and kill everyone including Kaine’s parents but the ex-seeker barely escapes with his family and Kaine. Kaine, at the age of seven, now vows to take revenge on the entire Seekers and to find the Forest Seal to save the planet.


Chapter I: FOREST SEEKER

“Have you heard of the guy who, took down a whole gang of ruthless Seekers, the other day?” first guy said to the second guy sitting at a table.

“Yeah, no kidding. He took all of them down with just two unique swords and the funny thing is that he only injured them but did not kill them,” second guy replies nervously to talk about the subject

“He must be freaking crazy and strong if he beats ten guys who has guns, guns for crying out loud, and he only has a sword,” the first guy panics as he down his mug.

“Then he must be the one who is stopping the Seekers who are trying to get the Forest Seal from us.”

“Yeah without the Forest Seal, the Earth is doom including all of us.”

“I even heard that a special team of Seekers are looking especially for this mysterious person…”

At the very instant the entrance door to the saloon suddenly burst open with a man running in yelling at the top of his lungs.

“The Seekers are coming! The Seekers are coming…run for your life!” the man yells like his life depends on it.

The two pauses of what they are doing and look at the crazy man who is freaking out. He is now looked by everyone but one, who is sitting at the bar alone with his head tilt down. The guy is wearing a brown cloak coving the whole body with a hood that’s down and his dark blue hair spiking to the sides and forward. He also has a black eye-patch over his left eye and his right eye narrow but the pupil is big and round. He is drinking some wine that he just gotten and slightly daydreaming trying not to be bothered.

“Why are you looking at me like that…please listen to me and get the fuck out while you still got the chance!” the guy screams out loud panicking like he seen hell’s gate and a second later he runs out still yelling.

As soon the guy left, the saloon went back to normal before the guy ever came in. The two at the table start talking once again but now…a different subject.

“The Seekers are making a name for themselves real bad lately ever since the information about the Forest Seal leak out. They can turn a normal person to a crazy lunatic just by seeing them,” one of them said to the other.

“It’s not their fault…its just that they kill any one they see who seems weak to them or inferior.”

“I here yea, they just killing people for no damn good reason at all,”

“They are not seekers but murderers who got the money and power to get away with evil things that could send a man to be repeatedly kill for eternality.”

The guy at the bar counter just finishes his second glass of light wine and slowly gets up. He hesitantly put up his hood over his head that shadows his face, which made it nearly impossible to see his face, and walks out. He went to the entrance of the city where the people are fleeing. He sees several vehicles of the high and mighty organization racing in the sands. Normal people who are getting paid just to find the Forest Seal first so the president of the organization gain ultimate control of Earth.

The mysterious guy in the cloak stops at the entrance of the city looking at the high-speed vehicles. The Seekers see the guy standing with the wind blowing his cloak around making it flap all over his body. Once the Seekers gotten to a couple minute walking distance to the mysterious person, they stop and several people get out of their vehicles.

“Who is this crazy bastard?” one of them said.

“Who does he think he is, standing there like nothing is happening,” another said.

“I don’t care who he is but he got to go,” the tall one said.

About six Seekers walk up to the guy and the tall one bends down to see in the hood but can’t because of the shadows. The six then begin to laugh at the small guy, who is about five feet and eight inches.

“It’s a kid not a man,” the one who tries to look in the hood said

“Who cares he is gonna to die right now for crossing with us,” the tall man said.

“You sure? Why not let us do it? It’s a waste of your time,” the medium size man said.

“All right finish him quickly. I’ll be waiting in the truck,” the tall guy said.

The tall guy turns around and begins walking and once he reaches halfway to the truck; one of the five that stay there took off the teenager’s hood. The five see the eye patch over the left eye and the one who took off the hood turns around to call his boss

“Boss! He is Ka…” the guy is cut off, but the boss begins to turn around by his name.

The teenager grabs the guy’s month and waves his finger to the side signaling “no” and he then tosses him making him spin rapidly until he hit the ground. The four dashes toward the teenager who goes up to one that is swinging a wide open right hook which the teenager just uses his left hand to grab the first. The teenager counters by using his right arm to go upwards using the bottom half his palms to impact bottom of the guy’s chin.

The force of the hit causes the guy to fly off in the distance while the teenager does a quick duck to dodge a sloppy punch. Once he comes back up, the guy throws another sloppy punch as the teenager grabs the arm and lifts the guy up in the air. The teenager then swings the guy over his head and in an arch toward the ground, which the collision causes the sand to be thrown upwards.

The two that are left runs to the teenager but attacking him with wild and poor punches proving that they have no sense of coordination. The teenager uses his left hand to grab the guy on the left right hand and then uses his right arm to hit the guy with his elbow. As the teenager goes for the guy on the left, the guy on the right tries to hit the teenager but misses. The teenager swings his left leg up to do a kick and his the second guy in the chest as his right elbow hits the first guy.

The force of his attack causes the two to fly in the air in a split second and crash into the ground sliding to a stop. The teenager stands still with only couple seconds gone by and the five is on the ground unconscious. The leader finally looks back as he sees all five of his guys are taken down so easily and quickly.

“Who the fuck is this guy?” he said slowly walking backwards scared.

The teenager begins to run leaving a trail of dust behind him going straight up in the air and then going back to the ground. Once he reaches the boss, he swings a right uppercut to the guy’s chin. The guy skyrockets up by the force and lands on the truck he was heading to. The teenager walks to the front of the first truck with all seven lined up like a column. He throws his arms to the side that his two swords pop out from his long sleeves and into his hands. The two swords begin to glow with energy, pointing both tips at the line of vehicles. The people inside the vehicles get out and run for their life including the boss who also runs out of the way.

“Blast striker,” the teenager calls out as he fires an energy blast that went trough all seven trucks like light.

When the blast ceases, the seven vehicles suddenly explode into oblivion and leaving no traces of the vehicles. All forty Seekers see the teenager’s strength and starts to run away panicking begging for their life. The teenager walks through the city as the citizens are watching him pass through talking that he is the one.

“I told you that he was the forest seeker,” the guy said that was inside the saloon but is now outside.

“Do you think that he is able to get to it in time before those Seekers?” the other guy asks standing right by the first guy.

“Did you just saw what he just do to those vehicles? With that kind of power he is unstoppable and could rule the planet.”

“He is just a teenager.”

“Age has nothing to do with destiny.”

Police soon comes in the distance and arrest all forty of the Seekers for disturbing the peace, but they couldn’t find the person who destroyed the vehicle. The teenager is standing on the rooftop near the entrance of the small town viewing the police action. He walks to the other side of the roof and jumps down as he then walks away back to the endless wasteland.

The teenager walks dials away from the town, which is dozens of miles on the original Earth. The sun is halfway down the horizon and sets in minutes making it already nighttime creating fresh cool breeze in the desert land. He approaches a small oasis and stops near a river with small hills on the other side.

He gradually sits down next to a tree and a rock and then grabs a pebble tossing it at the river to make it skip all the way across. The river suddenly begins to bubble and steam while the teenager tilts his head down chuckling to himself and then stands up.
“Who dares awaken me from my dark slumber?” a deep voice said

“Who wants to know?” the mysterious teenager commands.

“How dare you to speak to me with that manner. You will be severely punished,” the deep voice shouts.

“To bad for you to meet me on such short notice,” the mysterious person whispers.
The teenager gets out a dagger hidden underneath his cloak and throws it to a nearby tree several yards away. The dagger strikes something electronic on it causing electricity sparking out.

“Ah!” someone screams and is running around the shoreline.

“Show yourself prankster or I will be the one severely punishing,” the mysterious teenager orders.

“All right I’m coming out. Just don’t kill me,” the prankster yelps panicking.

“I’m not promising anything,” the teenager said grabbing his dagger from the tree

Somebody walks out into the moonlight revealing a kid with old rags.

“Who are you? You look familiar,” the kid asks the teenager

“My name is Kaine,” Kaine hastily responds.

“You’re Kaine, the Kaine?” the young kid shouts in surprise.

“Yes I am now get going before I do anything to you,” Kaine quickly responds.

“You won’t do anything to me. You are only just a few years older then me,” the kid said walking towards Kaine.

“So how old are you kid?” Kaine asks out of curiosity.

“I’m twelve years old, how about you?” the kid asks out of curiosity also.

“I’m fifteen,” Kaine whispers.

“So you are young. How long have you been traveling to find you know what?”

“I have been traveling since my parents died; when I was seven,” Kaine responds hesitantly.

“Your parents died too, my folks died just last year and I been here since…hiding from the Seekers.”

“Did your folks died by the Seekers.”

“I don’t know really…but what I do know is that the seekers want this pendent.”

“What pendent?”

The kid takes out a golden pendent with four blue diamonds and one white diamond in the middle. Its also have ancient writing on the back of it that looks like writing from the Ancients.

“This pendent was given to me by my mother the day before she died; like she knows she was going to die the next day,” the kid explains and starts to whimper remembering about his mother.

“Don’t cry at least you have something to remember her by.”

“Do you have something to remember your parents by?”

“No I don’t but information to where I have to go and protect.”

“So sad, I feel for you.”

“Don’t be it’s not your fault or mine but a burden that I alone must do.”

“It must be lonely traveling all over the world by yourself and don’t call anyone for help.”

“It’s something only I can do and nobody else.”

“Well have a good time traveling I let you sleep here just for tonight I don’t want to attract the Seekers.”

“…I leave the first sight of the sun.”

The next day at the first sight of the sun, Kaine is already standing up looking at the sun rising above the horizon. He looks at the kid holding the golden pendent against his body like he is willing protect it against anybody. Kaine suddenly hears something or somebody moving around them in the thin fog cause by the lake in the mourning. Kaine’s two Quantum swords pop out of his sleeves and into each of his hands as he stays close to the boy.

“They must be after the boy or the pendent if they are here,” Kaine slowly whispers as he looks around.

“Its dawn already…” the kid said getting up.

“Stay down,” Kaine whispers loudly for the kid to understand the situation.

“I told you man…I told you that they will be here because of you,” the kid panics as he curls up in a ball.

“Shut up…I don’t need your bickering right now,” Kaine tries to concentrate.

Suddenly somebody appears heading toward Kaine with a sword like a speeding blur but Kaine uses his sword to move the attacker’s blade out of the way and then stab him with his other blade. The person falls down injured while Kaine is getting attack from all sides and he easily evades and counters each attack to only injury them. Kaine picks up the kid and uses his speed to get out of the oasis without being spotted by the Seekers. He then stops behind a rock breathing head as the kid is breathing head but with no reason.

“Why did you bring me along…they probably didn’t notice that I was there,” the kid said frighten, shock, surprise, and self confident at the same time.

“Damn you kid, they were looking for you or may say they were looking for that pendent of yours,” Kaine said regaining his strength back up.

“What do they want with my pendent?” the kid asks him.

“Dude, I just met you and you want me to know what they want with your pendent…you are asking the wrong person for answers,” Kaine replies as he looks around the side of the rock.

“You are Kaine…you know everything,” the kid said like Kaine is his idol.

“For one thing…you got my name right but I don’t know a thing about a golden pendent,” Kaine responds quickly.

“COME OUT, COME OUT WHATEVER YOU ARE…JUST HAND OVER THE KID AND WE WILL LET YOU LIVE!” somebody yells which Kaine thinks it’s the leader of this little party.

“What do you want with the boy?” Kaine replies behind the boy.

“IT DOESN’T CONCERN YOU BOY…JUST HAND US THE KID OR YOU WILL DIE AT A VERY YOUNG AGE!” the leader said.

“So he wants to act like the big bully now…” Kaine said retracting his swords back in his sleeve.

Kaine walks around the rock and sees couple dozens Seekers assassins lined up with the leader in front of them. “I am going to repeat myself only once…what do you want with the kid?” Kaine asks generously.

“I do not know why you are staking your life to protect that little brat,” the leader said laughing.

“Who said I was staking my life…it is yours that is endanger right now,” Kaine said pointing to them.

“Kill them both and get the brat’s pendent,” the leader said as his group aims their automatics machine gun at him.

“I don’t think so,” Kaine said with both of his Quantum blades coming out of his long sleeves and into his hand.

The second before the six Seekers fire at Kaine, Kaine swings his sword toward the ground in front of him. The blades hit the sand throwing the sand in the air, as the bullets couldn't penetrate it. The six stops firing as they think they killed Kaine but suddenly he jumps out of it with his duel Quantum swords in his hands. The six doesn't have enough time to aim and fire as Kaine drops down in front of them and uses his swords to cut the machineguns apart.

"Who is this kid?" the leader yells, "I want him dead!"

Kaine stretches both of his arms straight out from his side as the two swords goes back in his sleeves becoming unarmed. One of the Seekers swings a right punch but Kaine evades and counters doing a right jab in the Seeker's stomach. The force pushes the Seeker across the desert while the rest of the Seekers try to gang up on Kaine. One of the Seekers swings his right arm as the fist is about to impact Kaine's right cheek but Kaine moves back making the fist fly pass his face.

Kaine grabs the arm with his left hand and uses his right hand to hit the elbow making the bone crack. He then twists the arm so he is able to get behind the Seeker and uses the Seeker to roll on his back to kick the other Seeker. The Seeker that got kicked flies into another Seeker as Kaine kicks the Seeker right leg that he is holding. The Seeker’s right leg launches forward kicking another Seeker that was running towards Kaine. Kaine uses the side of his right hand to hit the base of the Seeker's he is holding to knock him out cold.

"You? You're the last one standing?" Kaine said to the leader dropping the Seeker he was holding.

"Well I guess so. The rest were weak anyways," the leader responds taking off his coat to show his rip muscles.

"Well looks like I just got the got the leader," Kaine said grinning.

"I'll show you why I am leader!" the leader yells running toward Kaine.

The leader launches his right first towards Kaine but Kaine easily dodges the fist by tilting his head to the side and then go to his right. He then quickly does a right elbow in his stomach causing him to cover his stomach with his arms and arch forward. Kaine turns around as he places his right arm under the leader's head and then uses his left hand to grab his right hand. Kaine takes couple steps forward as he falls down doing a submissive move bringing the leader down with him.

With the leader's head held against Kaine's shoulder, the sudden impact to the ground cause severe pain to the leader's neck. Kaine lets go of the neck and stands back up with the leader behind him coughing as he tries to stand up. The duel Quantum swords slides out of his sleeves and into his hands while he turns around. The leader fill with rage runs toward Kaine but Kaine dash forward swinging his swords.

Kaine appears behind the leader with his swords going back in his cloak's sleeves while the leader stands still. Kaine begins to walk away as suddenly blood from the leader's ankle, wrist, and neck sprays out little by little. He got several hours to live until he dies from blooding to death unless someone takes him to the hospital. The little boy runs from hiding behind the rock and sees that all six Seekers are on the ground knockout and the leader is kneeling.

"Before you leave. Tell me who you are," the leader asks Kaine.

"My name is Kaine Kodachi," Kaine responds quietly as he walks away.

"So you are Kaine, the Forest Seeker," the leader said passing out and falling to the ground.

"Hey Kaine!" the kid yells at Kaine.

"..." Kaine keeps on walking ignoring the kid.

"Since they found my hiding spot and it seems that they want my Pendent; so I was wondering if I could come with you," the kid said.

"Sorry but I work alone," Kaine quickly responds.

"Oh please, we both got no parents and you are like a big brother that I never had," the kid yells as Kaine stops from the sound of brother.

"What's your name kid?" Kaine asks as he turns his head to the right looking at the direction.

"My name is Cache," Cache responds.

"All right Cache you can come as long you don't get in my way or slow me down," Kaine said continuing walking.

"No problem! Leave it to me and we be going way faster if you go alone," Cache yells running to Kaine to catch up to him.
