An Original Anime Fic

-Kai's POV-

I looked up from the book I was reading. Yeah, a book. Chuck was standing in front of me, and staring down at the book I was reading. History of Gigimonsters. It was a pretty interesting book about our own favorite sport.

Ok, here's the deal with Gigimonsters. Gigamonsters was only supposed to be a game with holograms. Well, you were supposed to battle for gigapieces so you could update your Gigamonster. Well, somewhere along the way, some kooky scientist decided that he could make these holograms real. After about 2 months of the discovery, people switched their holo's for a real monster.

Well, now GM's, as we call them, are your best friends, and they'd even battle for you, like they were programmed to do. My GM? Well, he's Hitobatoe. He's the best friend I ever had, except for my dog Shinny, who's been with us for over 20 years now.

As I was saying, Chuck was looking down at me, comfortably sitting in my armchair.

"Are you gonna come with me and Hito to the mall?" Chuck asked me. "They changed the rule about no Gigamonsters. So Hito can come, if that's what you're thinking."

"That wasn't what I was thinking. I was thinking why you wanted to go into the mall." I snickered. Chuck wasn't one to go into malls unless he had a reason, and he said it was too girly to go there. So unless he really had his eye on something, he wouldn't be set to go like this.

"Aw. Come on. My mom says that I have to at least get 4 hours a week of mall time. I figured it would be fun to go now, since it's raining." He smiled weakly at me. "Won't it be fun?"

I grinned and laughed.

"What do you want so bad now?"

"Nothing! I mean, I was going with Shark and I thought that you'd like to come with Hito, too!"

You're probably wondering who Shark is. It's actually Shaperk. It doesn't sound right, so he told Shark that he's Shark!

Hito got up and slapped Chuck. "What's up with YOU?"

"Nothing, nothing." Chuck said, shaking his head.

"Well, fine. We'll go to the mall with you. Under one circumstance. You have to give us your second best gigapiece. Haha!" I sniggered.

"Well, fine then…"

I got up and walked to the mall with Chuck. Hito and Shark trailed behind, talking to each other. I made sure that I had at least 50 bucks with me. I had to buy something there, or look like a dork.
