Fan Fiction ❯ Green Eyes ❯ Part 1 ( One-Shot )
Green Eyes
Nori walked down the stairs and through the gym doors. There was a graduation celebration going on in his school and his twin sister Shiori and her band were supposed to be performing. She had been bugging him about seeing her band for a while now, even though they didn't sing their own songs, they just performed ones from shows and other singers, etc.
Since it was a special occasion, Nori had decided to wear black jeans and a black button up silk shirt with the top few buttons undone.
As he walked into the gym, he was met with bright lights and exquisite decorations. There were many people dancing, but at the moment the music was coming from a dj. Shiori's band weren't due to play for another fifteen minutes.
Sighing at the prospect of having to sit through one of these occasions, Nori made his way to one of the empty tables and sat down.
Nori sat and waited. Bored, he let out a sigh that blew a strand of his bright blue hair out of his pale face. Nori was slim but also lightly muscled. His bright hair and his warm and bright orange eyes made his already pale skin seem paler. Of course, most of the girls in his school - regardless of their age - found him attractive and were always flocking around him. The same happened to all three of his brothers who were nineteen and only older than Nori his sister and even his sister's band by a year. They were all known for their pale skin and vibrant hair and eyes. Even his sister had guys after her. That all changed after she got a boyfriend. Nori and his brothers always ignored the girls that were fawning over them and instead paid more attention to the few guys that showed obvious interest. If the girls noticed, they didn't show it.
Nori's sister and brothers may look alike, but there were obvious differences. Nori's three brothers are triplets but one has blue hair and eyes, another has orange hair and eyes and the last one has orange hair and blue eyes. Shiori herself has the same hair and eyes as Nori.
"Nori!" Nori turned around in his chair to face his sister.
"Hey Shiori."
"You finally made it!"
"Yeah. When are you going on?"
"We've set up already . . . so I'd say in about five minutes."
"You should go now then. By the way, nice choice of colour." Nori said, gesturing to Shiori's black outfit.
"Yeah I know. We're all wearing black. Don't ask because none of us know how Zeshin's mind works."
"Zeshin?"
"Our lead singer. He decides on our outfits sometimes. Besides, you're one to talk, look at what you're wearing."
"But I'm not performing. Which songs are you doing?"
"Um . . . in order?"
"Sure."
"'What's up', 'Hiru no Tsuki', 'Glaring Dream', 'Tsuki no Le', 'Mask', then 'Love Revolution'."[1]
"Sounds good."
"That's what we thought. Oh! I have to go get ready, see you after the show!" Shiori runs off backstage.
A few minutes later, the dj stops and the music for 'What's up' begins.
'What's up? Hitomi wo, kawashite . . .'
Once the male solo begins, Nori finds himself transfixed on the lead singer. His outfit was nothing special, but the black made his bright green hair stand out, and it blended in with his deep green eyes that almost looked black.
He noticed that Shiori wasn't singing so she must have given the part to the main back-up singer, Tsuki. She had purple hair and pink eyes, she also played the guitar.
After the song ended, the male singer left the stage, Tsuki stepped back and Shiori appeared to sing her song 'Hiru no Tsuki'.
'Oto ni, nai ma hiru kaze wa tada . . .'
Nori was impressed. But he wanted to know more about the green-haired singer.
When the song ended, the male singer reappeared and Shiori left the stage. Nori was even more impressed when the he sang.
'Nigiyakana, hitogomi ni tokeru, tsubuyaki ga . . . '
Nori couldn't help but watch. The young man seemed to notice because he winked at him.
Nori hoped the song wouldn't end. But like all good things, it did and Shiori came back onstage.
'Sora tooi sora subuyaita, koe . . . '
In the middle of the song, someone caught Nori's eye as they were walking towards his table. It was the singer.
"Mind if I sit down?" He asked. Nori could only nod. "You were watching me, weren't you?" He asked.
"Yeah, I was." Nori nervously took a sip of whatever drink was in front of him. It tasted funny, but he didn't seem to care.
"You don't have to act so nervous you know. I'm not going to hurt you."
"I know. Shouldn't you be backstage?"
"You don't want me here?" His face took on a look of hurt, but it was obvious that it was only for show.
"No, it's not that."
"Then what is it?"
"Don't you have to go back on?"
"No. But I have to return to my band after this song. There's an intermission where we can take a break and let the dj play. Speaking of which, I'd better get going, the song is almost over. I'll be back though, so don't go anywhere."
"I won't." Nori replied. The man grinned and winked at him, then went backstage.
~
"Zeshin! What were you doing out there?" Tsuki asked once the green haired singer got backstage.
"Finding a new toy to play with."
"I really wish you would stop. Remember what happened last time?" Shiori asked.
"Don't worry about it! I'll watch it this time! Stop budding in. You know these are the only so-called relationships I can have. This band doesn't exactly give me the freedom to find a real relationship. If you deny me this one thing, then I'll quit." Zeshin said seriously.
"Fine. Who is it this time?" Tsuki asked.
"Not sure really. He was watching me intensely when I was singing though."
"Well at least learn his name." Shiori said.
"I will, I will. I'm going back to him now. I'll see you guys later."
"You're leaving with him?" Shiori asked.
"That's the plan." Zeshin smirked. "Later." Zeshin walks back out.
~
After a few more funny tasting drinks, Nori was feeling strangely loose. Then the man came back. Nori feared he wasn't going to be able to control himself.
Before he reached the table, Nori took another sip. Normally he would have realized there was something wrong, but he was too nervous.
"I told you I'd come back."
"I'm glad."
"So, you like watching me sing? Or do you just like watching me?" Nori meant to say that he liked watching him sing, but for some reason, he said that he like watching him in general.
"Thanks for the compliment. Man . . . it's stuffy in here. Wanna get some air with me?" He asked with a grin on his face. Nori knew what he really wanted, but at the moment he couldn't control his tongue.
"Sure." The green-eyed man grinned even more, then dragged Nori out of the gym through the back door.
~
"Hey guys, have you seen my brother?" Shiori asked her band.
"No. Sorry." Maiko, the other back up singer with black hair and red eyes replied.
"Why do you ask?" Tanosuke asked. He was the drummer for the band and had black eyes and black hair with bright red streaks. In total, there were six band members.
Zeshin and Shiori were the singers and didn't play and instrument. Tsuki and Maiko were the back up singers, Maiko played the keyboard. Then there was Soshu. He had purple hair and brown eyes, he played the guitar as well.
"Because he's not here and he didn't tell me he was leaving."
"He'll turn up. But right now, we have a show to finish. Get up there!" Soshu said.
~
-Midnight-
Nori limped up the steps to his apartment where he lived with his family. He didn't have a key with him, but someone left the door unlocked for him.
When he got inside, Nori went straight to his bedroom and collapsed on his bed.
~
-Morning-
"Nori? Are you alright?" Nori's older brother, Munemori asked. He was about to turn on the light, but Nori stopped him.
"Don't. I have a major headache . . . I think there was alcohol in the drinks."
"How many did you have?" He asked. His blue eyes were full of concern as he sat on the end of Nori's bed. He always was the one who was more caring. He looked after his brothers and sister. He had blue hair and blue eyes.
"I can't remember. I don't remember anything from last night."
"Is there anything else wrong?" Munemori kept his voice down so as not to hurt Nori's head.
"Everything hurts from the waist down."
"The waist down . . . ? Nori, do you remember anything?" If Nori had been feeling better, he probably could have almost heard Munemori's brain working to figure out what happened.
"A man . . . "
"What about him?" Munemori asked, really worriedly.
"He sang really well."
"Is that all?"
"We . . . the two of us . . . went to get some air and . . . that's all I remember." Nori said sleepily.
"Alright. You should stay in bed. The only ones home are Shiori and I so let us know if you need anything."
"Thanks, Mune." Munemori gets up and leaves the room, shutting the door behind him.
~
"How is he, Mune?" Shiori asked when Munemori returned to the kitchen.
"He has a hang over."
"What else?"
"Well . . . I don't think our innocent little Nori is so innocent anymore." Munemori said softly.
"You don't mean . . . ?"
"I do. He only remembers up until he and some man went to get some air. And, he says that he feels sore from the waist down."
"Mune, does he know who?"
"I doubt it. But he didn't go against his will. Of that I'm certain."
"How?"
"Well, even if he was drunk, I think he would still remember a traumatic event." Munemori picks up his cup of coffee and takes a sip.
"I guess." Shiori sighs. Then there is a knock at the door.
~
[So . . . this is where he lives. Wonder how he's doing.] Zeshin thought to himself as he stood outside Nori's apartment. He'd already knocked so now he was waiting. Then he heard voices muffled by the door. Then…
"I'll get it!" . . . Was heard as someone approached the door.
[That voice . . . it sounds familiar.] The door opened to reveal Nori's brother.
"Munemori . . . " Zeshin said quietly.
"You!" Munemori said angrily. He stood there a few moments then slammed the door in
Zeshin's face.
"Who was it?" Zeshin heard Shiori ask.
"No one." Munemori said.
"Fine, I'll see for myself." Zeshin hears footsteps before the door is opened again.
"Zeshin! What are you doing here?"
[Shit! How many people do I know, live here? Are they all related . . . ?]
"I came to see Nori."
"Why do you want to see him?"
"I want to know if he's feeling better." Shiori sighs.
"Alright, just stay away from Mune, okay?"
"Okay." Zeshin steps inside the apartment and Shiori leads him to Nori's room.
"Don't turn on his light." Shiori warns once they're standing in front of Nori's room.
"Sure."
"Oh, and tell him Mune and I are going out so he'll be by himself. Ja ne!" Shiori grabs Munemori and drags him out of the apartment.
Zeshin enters Nori's room.
"Hey Nori, how are you doing?"
" . . . Zeshin?"
"Yeah."
Nori chuckles softly. "I'm surprised you came back."
"Why?" Zeshin walked over and sat on Nori's bed in the same spot Munemori was
sitting.
"You seemed like that type of person. And it's happened before." Nori said the last part softly.
"I don't do that Nori." Zeshin put a hand on Nori's leg and started to gently rub it.
"We can't Zeshin, I can barely move."
"I know. I wasn't planning on doing that." Zeshin's hand moved up and little.
"But Shiori and Mune-"
"They left." Zeshin moved his hand to the inside of Nori's thigh, making him whimper.
"Please Zeshin . . . "
"Alright." Zeshin moves his hand and places it on Nori's erection. Nori moans loudly as Zeshin gropes him.
"You alright, Nori?"
" . . . yeah." Nori moans again.
"Alright." Zeshin stops moving and Nori whimpers.
"Zeshin . . . "
"Just wait." Zeshin undoes the zipper on Nori's pants, and frees Nori's aching erection. Then Zeshin quickly covers it with his mouth. Nori arcs his back and cries out, thankful the others weren't home.
Zeshin began to move his head up and down Nori's shaft, licking and sucking.
"Zeshin!" Nori yelled. He tangled his fingers in Zeshin's silky and unruly green hair and
bucked his hips.
Zeshin's hands quickly moved to pin Nori's hips to the bed. Then he started to suck harder as he sensed Nori's climax.
Nori once again called out Zeshin's name as he came. Zeshin swallowed all of Nori's come greedily. Then he sucked him dry and zipped his pants back up. Zeshin sat up.
"Thanks Zeshin . . . " Nori said.
"No problem. Feeling better?"
"Much. Not as sore anymore."
"Good. I have to go now, pet. You get better."
"Why do you have to leave?" Zeshin stood up.
"Don't worry about it."
"But you're . . . you haven't . . . "
"It's alright."
"But it's not fair. May I . . . ?"
"You want to? Are you feeling well enough?"
"I'm fine!" Nori sits up, winces slightly but ignores it and sits in front of Zeshin's groin.
"Very well." Nori unzips Zeshin's pants and finds that he isn't wearing any underwear.
[Hmm . . . this one may be worth playing with a little longer . . . ] Zeshin thought.
Nori wraps his fingers around Zeshin's erection and begins to stroke him.
"No, pet." Zeshin removes Nori's hand and Nori looks up, confused. "Use your mouth." Nori nods and takes the tip of Zeshin's cock into his mouth and begins to suck. Zeshin's head falls back and he moans as Nori takes even more of his cock into his mouth, until he has it all the way in. Then he sucks and Zeshin's knees get weak.
"Wait Nori." Zeshin said. Nori pulled his head away.
"Now, what?" Nori asked agitated and slightly annoyed.
"I . . . need . . . to sit down. God, Nori. Anyone ever tell you how good you are?" Zeshin's only answer was a grin as Nori switched places and hungrily covered Zeshin's erection again. Zeshin's cry of pleasure rang through the apartment, and made the figures approaching the front door pause before walking in.
"Hey Shinichi, did you hear that?" Asked a young man with orange hair and blue eyes.
"Yeah, I did. Who do you think it was, Satoru?" Asked another young man with orange hair and orange eyes.
"Well . . . someone must have a guest, but otherwise I'm stumped."
"Well . . . do you think it's Nori? I think Shiori and Munemori went out. I heard them talking earlier." Shinichi said.
"I did too. But, I thought Nori wasn't feeling well." Satoru said as he and Shinichi walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table.
"Maybe he just said that so no one would suspect anything. Or . . . "
"What are you thinking of Shinichi?"
"What if someone came to make him feel better?"
"That could be it. Let's just wait until the 'guest' comes out of the room. I want to know who it is." Satoru whispered.
~
"God, Nori!" Zeshin said as he came. Nori swallowed happily then zipped Zeshin's pants up for him. "That was amazing."
"Thank you." Nori said, a grin on his face.
"You deserve it . . . I have to go now."
"Alright."
"I'll call you, okay?" Zeshin stood up and walked shakily to the door.
"Okay. Bye Zeshin." Zeshin nods and walks out of the room closing the door behind him.
Shinichi and Satoru poked their heads through the kitchen doorway. When they saw Zeshin leaving, their faces went cold.
"You!" Shinichi and Satoru said. Zeshin jumped and turned to face the two.
"Shinichi! Satoru! When did you guys get here?"
[Shit! I don't need this. Not now. Those two always give me hell when they see me! Ever since that incident with me and . . . ] Zeshin shook the thought from his mind.
"What do you think you're doing to our brother?" Shinichi snarled, ignoring Zeshin's
question.
"How dare you take his virginity away! You're not worth it! You're just going to have your fun, then leave him when you get bored! You bastard!" Satoru yelled.
"Look, guys. I hate to break this to you, but someone got there before me, ok?"
"Why don't we believe you?" Shinichi asked. The two were now standing in front of him, blocking him from the front door. They were both at least a head taller than him, and Zeshin wasn't short. Average, but not short.
"Uh . . . I don't know." Zeshin said nervously.
"Wait, I remember!" Shinichi said. "Because you pulled this with our other brother!"
Zeshin cringed visibly as the memories came back. To this day, he still didn't know why he did what he did.
<<Flashback<<
"Zeshin, don't. Please, I'm not ready." Munemori pleaded. He was seventeen and Zeshin was sixteen. He and Zeshin had just gone out and now they were in the back seat of Munemori's car. Zeshin had Munemori pinned and was kissing his neck while his hands were removing Munemori's clothing.
"Sure you are Mune. Just relax and you'll enjoy it."
"No, stop!" Munemori struggled but Zeshin was stronger then him and had Munemori's wrists pinned above his head in no time.
"It won't hurt if you stop squirming." Zeshin placed a gentle and loving kiss on Munemori's lips and the boy relaxed. "There. That's better isn't it?" Zeshin asked. Munemori nodded.
/I don't know what it is . . . every time he kisses me like that, I give in. He just seems so gentle and I believe that he won't hurt me. I trust him, and I would do almost anything he asked of me . . . almost anything. Could it be that . . . ? That what I feel for him is . . . ? And *that's* why I don't want to do this yet? /
While Munemori was lost in his thoughts, Zeshin had removed both of their clothing and was getting a tube from his pocket.
Munemori was startled out of his thoughts when he felt a slick finger enter him. His earlier fear returned and he struggled to get free. He heard Zeshin sigh. Maybe he would let him go . . . ?
"I didn't want to do this, Mune. But you leave me no choice." Zeshin reached into his jacket and pulled out a pair of handcuffs. Zeshin noted that Munemori's eyes widened and he struggled harder to get away. But with lightning fast moves, Zeshin had the handcuffs on Munemori's wrists and had them attached to the handle on the door. The one that didn't open it.
"Zeshin please . . . I'm really not ready for this. I don't want-" Munemori's pleas were silenced when Zeshin kissed him again, the same way he had before. This time he didn't pull back until he had the finger inside him once more. When Zeshin felt Munemori struggle again, he pushed his lips apart with his tongue and deepened the kiss. At the same time he put another finger inside him and then another. His fingers began thrusting and Zeshin felt Munemori moan in his mouth.
Feeling that he was stretched enough, Zeshin removed his fingers and lubed his erection.
He pulled away from Munemori's mouth and panted for a few seconds before reclaiming his mouth and kissing him hungrily. Much more sloppy and rough than the last one.
While he had Munemori distracted with his kiss, he slowly inserted the tip of his cock into Munemori's body. He felt him stiffen, so he kissed him harder, bruising both their lips and with one quick thrust, he buried himself inside Munemori. Munemori screamed in his mouth and started struggling again. He pulled away from the kiss and Zeshin saw tears in his eyes.
"How . . . how could you?" Munemori asked. He started crying and Zeshin could tell that it wasn't because of the pain. At least not the physical pain. "I told you to stop. Why? Why did you ignore me?" Munemori cried out. Zeshin kissed him again gently. He was never the type to help people when they were crying. He wanted to tell Munemori . . . but he was too close to what he wanted, to stop.
The kiss was brief, and Zeshin pulled away so that their lips were almost touching, and whispered, "I'm sorry." Then he slowly began to move inside Munemori. Munemori's eyes widened then he shut his them tightly while Zeshin took him. Gently at first, but then more roughly as he approached the edge. Munemori soon found that he was moaning and bucking his hips so that Zeshin went deeper.
Zeshin wrapped his fingers around Munemori's erection and stroked it to the rhythm of his thrusts which sped up more and more as they both approached their climaxes.
With a few more strokes and thrusts, Munemori came and spilled his seed over Zeshin's chest and hand. Zeshin followed a few moments later and collapsed on top of Munemori.
They stayed like that for a few minutes before Zeshin got up and dressed then took a key out of his coat and unlocked the handcuffs. Munemori was soon dressed and in the driver's seat.
Zeshin made no move to leave or get into the front seat. He just sat there and contemplated on what he was going to say.
"Mune . . . I need to tell you something."
"I'm sorry Zeshin. But nothing you say can make up for what you did to me. Go home. I don't want to talk to you again."
"Mune-"
"Out!" Munemori yelled. Zeshin silently obeyed and got out of the car. Munemori quickly started it, and drove away.
"…I love you…" Zeshin whispered.
>>End Flashback>>
"Zeshin! Hello?" Satoru waved a hand in front of Zeshin's face, but got no reaction. A few moments later, Munemori came home. Without Shiori.
"Guys? What's going on?" Munemori asked.
"Zeshin just zoned out. We were about to teach him a lesson for being with Nori. Must have been something we said." Satoru said. Although the two always gave Zeshin trouble, they weren't very big. Sure they were tall, but they weren't muscle freaks. They had about as much muscle as Zeshin. Munemori was the same.
"Zoned out . . . ?" Munemori asked.
"Yeah." Shinichi replied.
"Why . . . didn't he let me tell him . . . ? Mune . . . why didn't you let me . . . " Zeshin said to himself. Unaware of anyone around him.
"Hey Mune, he's talking about you." Satoru announced.
"Me?" Munemori asked.
"Why didn't you let me tell you that . . . I love you . . . ?" Munemori's eyes widened and he ran to his bedroom and shut the door.
"Great. Stupid kid." Shinichi said. Then he slapped Zeshin across the face.
Zeshin snapped out of his trance and held a hand to his face.
"What did you do that for?" Zeshin asked.
"You zoned out. Something you said upset Mune." Shinichi said.
"Something I . . . ? Oh no . . . Excuse me, I have to go." Zeshin pushed past the two brothers and ran out of the apartment.
~
[Dammit! How could I be so careless? I promised myself I wouldn't be like that anymore! No more long term relationships, no love, no romance. None of that! I just had to go and let him know that I love him! I had to bring up old memories when we were both happy at last! I'm so stupid!] Zeshin thought angrily as he ran to his apartment where he lived alone. He was too young but he had done a few favors for the manager -ones he'd rather forget- that convinced him to let him stay. And with cheaper rent.
He didn't enjoy what he had to do, but it allowed him to get away from his family who he hadn't seen in two years.
When he got inside his apartment, he grabbed his phone and called Nori.
//Hello?//
"Nori?"
//Yeah.//
"Good. It's Zeshin. I was wondering if you wanted to go out tomorrow."
//Sure! When?//
"Um . . . one. Meet me at the park."
//Alright. I'll see you then. Bye.//
"Bye." Zeshin hangs up the phone, then walks into his bedroom and collapses on his bed.
~
The next day at the park, Zeshin realized how much Nori looked like his brother, Mune. The only differences were the orange eyes, and the fact that he was a little younger and the same height as he was.
The two of them sat on the bench and ate ice cream while they watched the kids playing with kites and running around playing games that only kids know how to play.
"My brother is upset. I need to go home." Nori said, out of the blue, after he finished his ice cream.
"Upset?"
"Yeah. No one really knows why."
[I think I do. I'm sorry Mune, I've hurt you again.]
"Well, you can go then. I have to be going too." Zeshin stands and throws the wrapper from his ice cream cone in the garbage next to the bench. Nori noted a sudden change in attitude.
"What's wrong, Zeshin?"
"Nothing."
"Something's wrong. Tell me." Nori stands up next to Zeshin and puts his hand on his shoulder.
[He's gentle. Caring. Just like his brother . . . ] Zeshin stiffened and Nori removed his hand.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked. It's none of my business. I . . . better get going." Nori turns and walks away.
[Great, now I've hurt him too! I'm so stupid!]
"Nori, wait!" Nori turned around about, they were about ten feet apart. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you off. I just haven't been myself."
"I understand. Come home with me."
"But Mune-"
"Might not be there. My brothers are getting him out of the house today." Nori grinned.
[How can I resist?] Zeshin returned the grin and the two headed off.
~
"Anyone here?" Nori called out when they reached the apartment. There was no answer.
"Guess not." Nori said.
"Aren't your parents ever home?"
"Uh . . . no. They're on a trip and the rest right now and the rest of the time they're working."
"Oh."
"Come on." Nori leads Zeshin to his bedroom. The two go inside and lock the door.
~
"Come on Mune, let's get you inside." Shinichi said as he and Satoru helped him up the steps to their apartment. While they were out, Munemori had been deep in thought. When his brothers tried to talk to him, he broke down. He didn't tell either of them what he was thinking, he didn't want to.
He was still upset when they got him inside. They heard moans coming from Nori's room.
"Dammit, not again." Satoru said. A few moments later, they heard voices and Zeshin came out of the room, alone looking slightly spaced.
"You again!" Shinichi said. He handed Munemori over to Satoru, who placed him on the couch.
"You're really asking for it you know. As if hurting Mune wasn't bad enough!" Shinichi yelled.
"Hurting . . . ?" Zeshin looked confused for a moment, then his eyes widened. "I . . . hurt him . . . I love him and I . . . hurt him . . . Just like my . . . hurt me . . . " Shinichi and Satoru immediately became confused.
"Who hurt you?" Satoru asked.
"My . . . " Zeshin started. Before he finished, he started trembling then fell to his knees and dug his fingers in his hair. He looked like he was trying to get something out of him.
"Dammit! I promised I wouldn't be like him . . . I love Mune . . . but I did the same thing he did! Dammit!" Zeshin had zoned out again. Freeing one of his hands, he used it to punch the floor in anger.
Munemori watched silently, as Zeshin mentally beat himself up. He didn't know what to do. Zeshin had hurt him, but for some reason, he still felt like he loved him. Munemori was too busy battling his own emotions, to help Zeshin with his.
"Zeshin . . . what's going on?" Shinichi asked. Zeshin ignored him.
"He told me . . . he never wanted to see me again . . . never wanted to talk to me . . . didn't give me a chance . . . " Inside Zeshin's head, he kept hearing, 'I don't want to talk to you again.' Over and over. Repeating itself, each time more venomous than the last. Haunted with the voice and memories from his past, Zeshin let out a cry of pain that scared everyone, even Nori who didn't dare leave his room.
After the cry, Zeshin quieted down. It looked like he was okay, but seconds later, there was quiet chuckling that eventually escalated to loud laughter. Zeshin sounded like a maniac. It wasn't a happy laugh at all.
Munemori couldn't stand it.
He ran from the couch and wrapped his arms around the laughing maniac version of Zeshin.
"Please . . . stop it Zeshin. Come back . . . " Munemori pleaded. Soon tears started to soak Zeshin's shoulder where Munemori laid his head. Zeshin was still laughing, he was far away from everyone. The pain was too much for him.
"Please Zeshin . . . I love you. Don't leave me . . . " Munemori said. Zeshin didn't hear him.
Seeing that his pleas weren't being heard, Munemori did the only other thing he could. He grabbed Zeshin's laughing face and kissed him. Hard.
Zeshin's laughing ceased, but he didn't kiss back. Both of Munemori's brothers were just standing there. Realizing that it wasn't any of their business and that there was
nothing they could do, they both left and went to their rooms.
Munemori pulled away and looked at Zeshin. His eyes were slightly glazed over, but he had stopped laughing. Instead, there were tears falling silently down his face.
"Zeshin . . . ?" Munemori asked, with a worried tone.
"Mune . . . why? Why did you do that . . . ?" Zeshin asked sadly. Tears still falling.
"Because I lo-"
"Don't say it." Zeshin interrupted.
"Why?"
"Because you don't. How could you? Especially after what I did. You should just leave me alone. Forget about me." Zeshin turned his head away from Munemori, so he couldn't see his face and the tears falling down his cheeks.
"I can't do that. No matter what you say, I do love you!" Munemori cried and he buried his head in Zeshin's chest. Zeshin gently placed his hand on Munemori's head and ran his fingers through the soft hair. Neither noticed that it was raining heavily outside. It was if nature knew the sadness of the situation that the two were in.
"Mune . . . you're so stubborn." Zeshin smiled tenderly and continued to run his fingers through Munemori's hair. "I still don't understand how you could love me." Zeshin whispered. He heard Munemori mumble something, but it was muffled by his chest. He gently lifted Munemori's head.
"What was that?"
"I said, it's not easy to stop loving someone that you've loved for a long time."
"I know the feeling. But it's easy when that person hurts you in one of the worst ways possible." Zeshin looks away. This time, Munemori grabs Zeshin's face and turns it to face him.
"That's not important to me, Zeshin. You were right then, I was ready for it. I was just too stupid to realize it. The whole time I thought you would just leave me afterwards. That's what hurt. I didn't know how you felt, and I thought that if I left you instead, then I wouldn't get hurt. But . . . it didn't work." Munemori dropped his hand and lowered his head.
"I still shouldn't have done that."
"It doesn't matter to me anymore. It doesn't affect my love for you at all."
"Mune . . . are you sure? I know what . . . never mind."
"Know what? Don't cut off like that. What were you going to say? Does this have anything to do with what you were thinking earlier? About someone hurting you?" Munemori raised his head to look Zeshin in the eye. Zeshin could see the concern in his eyes and written on his face.
[No! no matter what, I'm not going to relive that! And Mune doesn't need to hear it. It's too painful for me]
"I can't. I'm sorry, Mune. It's just . . . it's too painful. You don't want to hear it. I'm sorry."
"It's alright, Zeshin. You don't have to tell me. But, let's get off the floor okay?" Mune smiled a little and stood up. He extended his hand to Zeshin and helped him get up too. "I do have another question though. What are you going to do about my brother?" Just then, Nori walked out.
"It's alright. I heard, and I'm happy. I knew how Zeshin felt about you anyway. And don't ask about why it doesn't bothering me because he 'took my virginity away'. He didn't. He can just be rough sometimes, size doesn't help either."
"Then who did take it?" Munemori asked.
" . . . Shiori's boyfriend, Soseki."
"What?!" Munemori almost yelled.
"When I was fourteen. Before he met Shiori." Soseki was the same age as Shiori and had bright red hair and orange eyes. He was mysterious and kept mostly to himself. People often questioned the relationship the two had. Soseki didn't seem too interested, this could be why. He'd been with Nori first.
"I see . . . "
"So, you don't mind, Nori?" Zeshin asked.
"Not at all." Nori grinned. "Unfortunately," Nori said, switching subjects. "I talked to Soseki yesterday. So not everyone can have a 'happy ending' so to speak. He's breaking up with Shiori today." Nori's grin disappeared.
"But . . . she was so happy with him." Munemori said.
"I know. It's my fault."
"How can it be your fault?" Zeshin asked. He casually wrapped an arm around Munemori, without even thinking. Munemori nodded his head in agreement.
"Because . . . he . . . never mind. I have to go." Nori rushes past the two of them and leaves the apartment.
"What was that all about?" Zeshin wondered.
"There's something he doesn't want to say. I know where he went though. He went to
the park."
"Let's go then." Zeshin said.
"Uh . . . okay then." Munemori and Zeshin leave the apartment and head to the park.
~
"Look, there's Shiori and Soseki." Zeshin pointed out when he and Munemori reached the park. The two watched as Soseki spoke, then Shiori suddenly ran off upset. They looked around and saw Nori on a park bench, facing away from Soseki. Soseki walked over and stood in front of Nori. Soseki was wearing black jeans and a black t-shirt that was un-tucked. Nori practically jumped out of his seat when he saw him. There were a few moments where Soseki was just speaking to him, bent down a little so that they were eye to eye. A few minutes later, Nori almost jumped again as Soseki kissed him. He grabbed the back of Nori's head and pulled him deeper into the kiss. The two could tell that Nori was fighting with himself as to whether or not he should try and get away, or enjoy it.
Munemori and Zeshin sat and watched from behind a bush about ten feet away. Both were shocked.
"That's why Soseki broke up with Shiori . . . " Zeshin said.
"Yeah. It must also be why he said it was his fault." Munemori said.
"Probably . . . but it's not."
"Wait, look, I don't think Nori really wants it. He looks like he's struggling." Munemori pointed out. Nori was still on the bench and it looked like he was trying to back away. But Soseki's grip on him was firm.
"No he's not. He always does that. The more he does it, the more you can tell he wants it. He did the same thing to me." Zeshin explained.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. I think Soseki knows it too." The two continued watching while Soseki broke the kiss and spoke quietly to Nori. He nodded and Soseki led him to a car that was parked on the street next to the park.
"Where do you think they're going?" Munemori asked.
"Mune, do you really need to ask?" Zeshin asked with a mischievous grin on his face.
"No . . . I guess not." Munemori and Zeshin stand up.
"So, when are you parents coming home, Mune?"
"Um . . . oh shit! Today!" Munemori's face took on a look of worry.
"Relax, Mune. I'll drop you off at home and then I'll go to my apartment."
"But . . . I want to stay with you."
"Stay?" Zeshin asked. His grin faded and he looked confused.
"Yes, stay."
"But . . . for how long?"
"As long as you'll let me." Munemori hugged Zeshin and rested his head on his shoulder.
"But . . . I was thinking, if you're going to do this every time we have to part, why don't you live with me?"
"Are . . . are you serious?" Munemori pulled away and looked at Zeshin in shock.
"Of course!" Zeshin pulls Munemori into a tight hug. "I need the company. Besides, you should get out of your parent's house."
"Can you afford it?" Munemori felt Zeshin wince.
"Yeah."
"What was that for?" Munemori backed away and looked at Zeshin.
"What was what for?"
"You winced when I asked you if you could afford it."
"Oh . . . that. Nothing, never mind."
"No. Tell me."
"It just . . . it reminded me of the manager." Munemori looked confused.
"How?"
"Well . . ." Zeshin began to tell Munemori the short version of his story.
<<Flashback<<
The green-haired boy ran through the rainy streets looking back every once in a while to make sure no one was following him. He'd been running for a long time and he was still in his hometown. He needed a ride of some kind. He was frightened and nothing made you run faster than fear, but even that has its limits.
Catching a glimpse of a pickup truck, Zeshin quickly ran over and hopped in the back, hoping it would take him out of town.
Once the driver returned to the truck and started driving, Zeshin fell asleep.
When he awoke, he was in a different city, one that seemed more like a town where you knew almost everyone in it rather than a big city where people don't give a damn about you or your problems.
Zeshin hurried out of the truck and began to walk around town, looking for a place where he could stay.
Soon, he was standing in front of an old apartment building that was only three stories high. He walked in and went to the office to talk to the manager.
"So you want to stay here, kid? How old are 'ya?" The manager was a man in roughly his forties with brown hair that was greying at the sideburns. He didn't look like he was a slob considering the condition of the place he was running.
"Does it matter?"
"Yeah, it matters. Now, how old?"
" . . . Fifteen." The manager laughed.
"And you want to live alone? Why don't you go home, boy. There's no way you can pay for your own apartment anyways." With that the manager started working on papers that were scattered about his desk.
"I don't have a home to go back to." Zeshin lied. Well, partially lied. He had a home, but there was no way he was going back. He heard the manager sigh in an annoyed fashion as he lifted his head to look at him.
"Fine, kid." He said, then he grinned. A grin that showed you weren't going to like what he had to say next. "I'll give you a place, on one condition. And this is for three months rent."
"What is it?"
"Come here." The manager turned his old swivel chair and pointed in front of him. Zeshin walked around the desk and stood in front of him. Without warning, the man put one of his big hands on Zeshin's shoulder and forced him to his knees. Zeshin's eyes widened with realization as he watched the man force his head towards his opened fly and…
*STOP!*
>>End Flashback>>
Zeshin immediately shut his mouth when Munemori yelled. His head was down and he could see tears running down his face and onto the ground.
"Mune?"
"What is he going to make you do, to let me live with you?"
"He doesn't have to know."
"But it's so terrible that you had to do that in order to stay."
"It doesn't mean anything to me anymore. All I want is for you to live with me, and that's all that matters to me." Zeshin wrapped his arms around Munemori again and the two hugged in silence. Comforting each other with the embrace.
~
Two weeks later, Munemori was moved in with Zeshin, much to the debate of his twin brothers and his parents. But Munemori brought up the subject of him being old enough to make his own decisions and that it would be easier for his parents.
He had all his things moved in and Zeshin and he shared expenses. Lucky for them, they shared a bed so they did have to buy an extra one.
As for Nori, he moved in with Soseki, and actually got up the courage to tell Shiori.
Soon, the only ones left in their house, were their parents, Shiori, Shinichi and Satoru, who made frequent visits to Munemori and Nori.
You could say, that they all got what they wanted in the end, and that they were happy. But . . . for how long . . . ?
