Chapter 1::
Katsuyuki stared at the cieling, her mind buzzing with everything that had happened to her that day. Her dark hair framed her pale face, her violet eyes misty and puffy. Her thoughts wandered to the day's events.
:FLASHBACK:
The 14 year old girl walked through the front with a huge smile on her face. She was due bowling in an hour. Not just anybowling though. She was going with Arata!
Katsu called she was home, earning herself a distressful scream for her to go to the study. Katsu, the smile now slipping, followed the hall to her mother's office.
Knocking once she entered and saw two men with her weeping mother. Instanly she knew something was wrong.
"Mom?" Katsu questioned, staring at the tear streaked woman.
"Katsuyuki, please, don't struggle or make this hard. You must go to your destiny," her mother said, while mumbling something. Katsu looked at her then felt a strange sensation.
She felt as though she were peeling dead skin off a scrap. Only this was as though she were getting a layer of skin off her whole body. Looking down she saw her blonde hair was replaced by dark strands of hair. Her tanned skin was pale and when she brought her fingers to her eyes she saw her stubby chew nails were long.
Katsu's alarmed eyes were staring at her weeping mother, "What- Mama? What happened to me? Why-?"
Her mother looked up and said, "They will explain. Honey, please go to your room."
Katsu obeyed and left.
:FLASHBACK:
Katsu had just been visited by the man called 'Aaron.' A strange american name. He had told her of her destiny to the youkai kind. She was to travel being the secound of the last of the youkai, through the territory of Forrbiden lands.
The Forrbidden Lands were strictly off-limits to the ningen kind for there are tales of horrible wonders inside that territory. They say monsters roam through out the lands, killing who they come into contact with.
Katsu was to meet and full youkai boy, Ikaika, from a place called Hawaii. Strange name but still scary.
She stared at the ceiling. She left her life tomorrow and started one of adventure. She wasn't ready to drop everything but she was curious as to what she was going to do.
'Maybe this won't be bad,' Katsu thought, sitting up quietly in her bed. She stared around her room. She was going to miss home. Her tears flowed and silently she fell asleep with tears streaming down her cheeks.
A/N:: Sorry the chapter is so short. I just wanted it short sweet and to the point. Next chapter will soon be up.
