How Anime Characters Do Various Tasks
[Camera fuzzes on and focuses on a brightly lit room. The walls are plastered with various anime posters. On the center of the shot is a small bed with a black comforter with a red, serpentine dragon curled along the middle of the cloth. Dark, almost black, red pillows rest against the headboard. A laptop sets to the side of the bed and the rest of the floor is littered with books.]
Voice: (sounds surprisingly like Etcetera’s) *off* This is the first episode of “How Anime Characters Do Various Tasks”, Milantha is the absent host, and I’m a fertilizer machine!
(Running is heard)
Voice: (obviously Milantha) *off* Nooooooooooooo!!! Don’t scare them away, Etcetera!! (red and black blur appears on screen before tripping on the mound of books and flying face first on the bed. The bedding, surprisingly, remains pristine.)
Milantha: X_x …ow. *pops up* @_@ …I don’t think beds are supposed to be that hard…
Etcetera: *off* Scare who off, Milantha?
Milantha: Who? *pauses and stares at the camera* Wait a second… *crawls towards the camera until her face fills up the screen* Ummmm.. *stares through the camera* You’re right, there’s no one there--- *blinks and jumps back to the middle of the bed* O_o
Etcetera: *off* What’s wrong, Milantha?
Milantha: … o_o … *peeks at the camera before squeaking and hiding behind a large pillow* o.o …there’s one person there…
Etcetera: *off* Wow! That’s a shocker… but why do you look scared?
Milantha: o.o’’ It’s a really short guy wearing on of those George Washington wigs, a toga, and is randomly chopping at the audience chairs with an ax… ^-^’’’ Do you think maybe he’s the reason we don’t have an audience?
Etcetera: *off* Naw. Don’t try to place the blame on your only audience.
Milantha: ^-^’ I don’t think he’s here to see the sho--- 0-0 …
Etcetera: *off* What now, Milantha?
Milantha: … ^-^’’ I can hear what he’s yelling…
Etcetera: *off* What?
Milantha: ^-^’’’’’’ He’s yelling, “I am Sparticus! I am Sparticus!”
Etcetera: *off* Well, at least he’s in the audience…
Milantha: ^-^ Hai.
Etcetera: *off* shouldn’t you be introducing the show, Mil?
Milantha: ^-^xxx Don’t call me Mil… ^-^ *clears throat* Hello-crazy audience member with multiple personalities-
Etcetera: *off* That means you have more than one audience member! …I’d say about three of them!
Milantha: ^-^’ It’s okay, Etcetera. I’ve done several stories with no audience… I don’t need to count. ^-^ Now… *clears throat* Welcome to the first installment of “How Anime Characters Do Various Tasks”! I’m your host, Milantha Illuser! ^-^
Etcetera: *mutters off* I already said that…
Milantha: *ignores her* Behind the camera we have Etcetera! ^-^
(Hand waves in front of the screen)
Etcetera: *off* Hello!
Milantha: *coughs* ^-^X Right. Now, the first real episode was how the characters use a video camera. But… since the object needed for said test was the camera we are using right now… we have no record of the task. ^-^ Let’s just say that we went through a lot of cameras… now! The first--technically second task will be how to open a locked door. ^-^ We have several medics and doors on hand and no rabbits were harmed in the making of this show---
Momiji: *runs across the screen* ^_^ Yay! *runs off*
Milantha: *seems not to have noticed* ^-^ Thank you and enjoy the show!

Milantha: ^-^’’’ Etcetera! Turn off the camera! Remember? You just reach down and press the big red button labeled “off”!
