***************

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. I was thinking maybe a dirty, apartment like building, or a warehouse I had never seen before, but the clean, well kept room surprised me. A golden light flowered from a ceiling light inside a deep fixture as if a miniature sun were in the room. The entire place was smooth, shiny metal with the coffee and table tops adorned with metal plates. There were marble counters, and the creamy circular couch, furbished with purple cushions and a glass table in the middle, looked plush.

“Wow,” I commented. This was probably the nicest room in the entire building aside from the president's lounge.

“Keep walking,” Root urged, his hand still on my back, putting on pressure to keep me from stopping.

As soon as the motley crew was safe inside, the commander locked the door with a password, voice clarified no doubt, and a grating hum sounded as something apparently slid into place. My bet was on an electronic barricade that covered the door, concealing any evidence of room, which had soundproof walls, as I later found out.

“Wot you want Root?” Gin asked, poking her head around the corner of an open doorway to the left, the kitchen. He only grunted.

“The usual eh?”

“Sure.” He sighed and flopped down on the couch. “Do what you want,” Root said with annoyance, giving a dismissive wave; his eyes were closed as Yue opened his mouth to ask him something.

“Come with me,” the young man beckoned, pulling lightly at our wire handcuffs.

Silently, we followed him obediently as he took us to the right side of the room where two doors were located; they were bedrooms and we took the farthest one near the back wall. Inside was dark; a fish tank on the right hand side covered most of the wall, giving off the most light and casting a bluish tint that danced around the room with the currents of water. Amazingly enough, there swam several piranhas, lion fish, starfish, sea horses, puffer fish and some other kind of sea fish. Not only was it exotic, but incredible that these fish could coexist with one another without a problem. Beads hung around a water bed next to the aquarium in the corner on one side from the ceiling and in the doorway of a bathroom. Mist fountains sat in ever corner of the room as well as a waterfall that trickled serenely down the wall, opposite the bed on the left side of the door we had entered, and into a large stone basin with steps leading up one side. It was a bath tub. The bathroom was too small to fit anything more than a sink with a mirror above and a cupboard below, a toilet and a very cramped shower.

The room was nicely furnished too. A fireplace was near the bed, located about a half foot from the ground and was only large enough to warm the air around the bed and that was it. Candles were sporadically placed, some in groups, others alone, all of them scented. Also, water fountains spurted and spewed water in streams and dribbles that flowed over the stone and back again in circulation. A resplendent oak cabinet with glass paneling at the top stood on paws close to the bathroom door on the left. Adjacent to that was a small desk, decorated with ivy and honeysuckle growing along the wall, glowing under a radiant light that warmed them as it shone from the ceiling like the one we had seen before, only smaller. They were real live plants which miraculously grew from some kind of rich black soil held in a large vase of clay.

A bookcase was situated to the right of the door we had entered, filled neatly with books and journals that were taken care of with meticulousness. Wherever there was free space, holes had been carved into the cobble textured walls which had been painted to replicate a rocky appearance. These held leather bound journals, pouches of golden coins and scrolls written in blood. A hand woven rug of grass was worn with use, and the earthy tone complimented the dark soil toned carpet quite nicely.

“Here, let me undo those,” Yue said quietly. He gently took my hands and picked a microscopic knot expertly out of the wire. My hands trembled, white from the chill of blood loss which was caused by being pulled at so much and from the uneasiness at this mysterious place.

“Ahhh… oww.” I rubbed my wrists. The left one had been cut, though not deeply enough to be of any worry. Nonetheless my hand was smeared with blood.

“Are you alright?” Kane asked once he had been freed, clutching my hands with his own. They were warm.

“Yes, I'm okay,” I replied in all honesty. I was pale and still a little frightened, but this calming atmosphere quelled my overstressed nerves. Yue left us a moment to retrieve something from the bathroom cupboard, then rummaged through several cubby holes in his wall.

“Here,” our newly acquired friend said to me. “Hold out your hand.” Eying his contents, a small pouch which looked heavy, a wet rag, some dry cloth and a tube of what looked like anesthetic, I realized that he meant me no harm, but only wanted to clean my wound.

“Come, sit down.” He motioned with jet black hair, his violet highlights abated in color due to the effects of the marine glare as he sat down on his bed, pushing the azure beads aside.

Kane shrugged and encouraged me to follow, so I crawled onto the bed, the cotton bed sheets moving with the flow of the encased water beneath me.
“Who are you?” I asked in awed enthrallment. “I mean, you're different…. Your room, the fish, the plants… they're real, right?” Kane sat down beside me as Yue gently took the warm rag and pressed it against my wrist. He cleaned my injury before he slowly responded.

“I am who I am. You are correct; my plants, animals and water are all real and alive. If you mean to ask why I have such a collection in my room, it is my sanctuary and I wish to be more connected to my Earth.” I nodded, though I didn't understand; it was, more to say, that I didn't want to listen to such a boring explanation.

“Your Earth?” Kane asked, intrigued. Biologists. Of course he would be interested. Yue withdrew the wet rag and put a portion of the medication from the bottle onto my wrist. It stung faintly, but it was livable.

“Yes,” he replied. “It is not that I do not enjoy the use of mechanical or technological things, it is just that I do not like what some of them do. They destroy the beautiful things.”

He looked wistfully at me as he rubbed the cool cream gently into the cut. I winced. It began to grow sore, and the pressure he put on, combined with the gentle motion of massaging the inflamed skin, felt relieving and painfully good. Kane nodded his acknowledgement of the statement.

“The majority of people think it's great that we've excelled this far,” here he paused and started wrapping the cloth around my wound, “but most don't see the destruction they're creating. They think it's ludicrous and won't believe it. They don't want to face the truth and they know it.” Yue had started off strong, but grew weaker in his confidence as he insulted all of humanity.

“What destruction?” I interrupted, peeved that he would say that technology was our ruin, especially since I had created and programmed a lot of the Mecha-Pets. He had nerve to say that in front of me. Or maybe he just didn't know who I was. The raven haired fellow stopped to look at me.

It wasn't a look like I was crazy or stupid, or one of ignorance or arrogance. It was just a look of wonder and question. His cerulean eyes were mesmerizing.

“There are no trees and very little green. You don't see flowers just anywhere, and pollution has killed off many species. The intolerance for the world we were given is unacceptable.” He finished winding the bandage around my lower arm and tied it off, securely.

“But we don't need them!” I insisted. “Technology is our life, our livelihood! Tree's don't help us in any way!”

“We need them to survive,” Kane said softly. I shook my head. We'd lived just fine so far.

“You'll see,” Yue told me, placing a reassuring hand on mine. I didn't want to see and I didn't care.

“Fine, whatever. What are we doing here and why did you kidnap us anyway?” I crossed my arms, waiting for an answer.

“First, I didn't kidnap you; Root did. He just ordered me to tie your hands,” he corrected me. I sighed, rolling my eyes. “Second, what Gin had been doing on Root's orders have gotten out everywhere, since she cut the power—”

“You're the hackers!” I accused with eyes wide. I fell back in my haste to jump up.

“Yes we are,” Yue smiled faintly, but his eyes looked sorrowfully at me. Kane looked mildly shocked but seemed as if he had expected the news. Our host sighed, sat back on his hands and crossed his legs to the side.

“You must understand, we all have good intentions,” peachy lips continued softly despite my outburst.

“You're destroying R.A.D.A.R!” I cried, enraged.

“For the better of the humans—”

“You're taking away our lives!”

“Do you want to die so soon?”

“Costing us millions! Our business!”

Kane clapped a hand over my mouth.

“Be quiet,” he hushed me. I looked furiously at Yue. His eyes were still sad looking, but his stature and countenance remained calm and undisturbed.

“Here, lay down,” he instructed after a thoughtful moment of noiselessness. “On your stomach,” he added. I licked the palm of Kane's hand and he let go with a protest of surprise.

“What?” I asked in bewilderment.

“Stop being rude. He's still your captor, just do what he says. I trust him,” Kane said in my ear, hands on my shoulders.

“Well, I'm sorry if I don't,” I stated firmly, stubbornly.

“Then hope he didn't poison what he put on your arm.” I blanched, embarrassed that Kane had gotten away with that. Yue smiled and sat on his knees, making room for me.

“Please take your shirt off first,” he politely asked me. This sounded like it was going very quickly downhill. Kane nodded, though looking somewhat perplexed himself at the request.

I sighed, defeated, and did as I was told, removing my plain white T-Shirt. I shook my mane of hair free.

“Sit before me.” I sat on my legs and faced the mysterious young man. He grabbed the heavy bag that he had gotten earlier as well as a brush from his headboard and crawled around to sit next to Kane. My eyes followed him over my shoulder to stare questioningly at him, but he shook his head.

“Look straight ahead and please just relax. There's no need for more talk now,” he soothed, gathering my silky ivory hair with strong, placid hands and separating it into three parts. Running tender fingers through my hair, he began to untangle my hair a little bit at a time, though thankfully it had been washed the night before and wasn't that much of a mess. I shivered under his caress as he hands brushed over my bare skin. I had to wonder what Kane thought. Delicately braiding my hair, Yue began to sing in some other language which I was told was Celtic when I asked. He had a quiet, beautiful voice.

Once he was finished, he gently pushed me down so that I was lying on my stomach. I was reluctant at first but Kane persisted and I complied. Yue brushed my braid out of the way and opened his pouch.

“Close your eyes and be at ease,” he soothed, nearly whispering. I did as best I could under the circumstance I was in. Something cool and smooth was placed on my back at the base of my neck.

“Sooth,” he murmured, sitting over my lower back on his knees, his long black hair tickling my sides. He placed another, what I found to be a stone, in a line with the other. He continued, the stones alternating between cool and warm down my spine, reading them off. “Relaxation; Peace; Serenity; Calm; Love; Warmth; Pride; Hope; Grace; Acceptance; Prayer; Benevolence,” until he had no more.

I could feel him leaning over me, now on hands and knees, probably looking over his collection. I myself was completely limp, nearly half asleep in my lull. He ran one cool, soft finger along the side of my spine and I trembled under the sensitive touch. Kane sat observantly behind me, wondering what on Earth this computer hacker was doing, and I only hoped he wasn't performing some kind of hostile magic trick on me. Starting with my neck, he placed both thumbs on either side of my back bone and firmly massaged his way down. I groaned with pleasure as he reached my lower back which had been killing me for nearly a week now. None of the stones he had placed on my back had been disturbed. He worked quietly to the very base of my spine before I drew a sharp breath and twitched. He had hit a hot spot. I blinked lazily, turning my head from either side to gaze at a fat blow fish that was drifting by in its tank.

Writhing underneath the boy as he applied a touch more pressure, I finally let lose a moan before he realized the effect that he had had on me. He paused a moment before working his way back up my spine, still saying nothing as the pleasure faded dully. I blinked to clear my vision, now watching Kane as he silently minded Yue. Gently, I felt our host remove the stones, one by one. Slowly, he began to collect them; he took one from the middle, the one from the top, the second from the top, another from the middle, for there was no order in which he transferred them from my spine and into the bag. Slowly, there remained only four, then three, then two. I felt one slip and he got that one last.

“Love,” he whispered. I remained where I was, completely docile and still dozing.

“How do you feel?” he whispered, placing perfectly manicured fingers on my shoulders. I groaned, annoyed that he would disturb me. I heard him laugh softly to himself. Apparently he had achieved whatever he had meant to.

“Hmm….. Jalene,” Kane asked of me softly.

“Your name is Jalene?” Yue asked softly, curiously. I opened my eyes and rolled over, stretching comfortably to find wide blue eyes staring back, only an arm's length from where I was. His raven colored hair hung softly from down his back, lavender streaks kissing my bare chest delicately.

“Yes,” I replied, somewhat distracted by cause of those cerulean gems staring into my cloudy grey ones. Quite suddenly I realized that I had never properly introduced ourselves. Then again, no one had asked us for our names anyway. I sat up quickly, nearly knocking heads with Yue and very well near kissing him too.

“Uh I'm sorry, it's just I noticed something,” I apologized, my heart skipping a beat at Yue's faint blush.

“What's that?” he asked, sitting back.

“We never told you who we were,” I replied sheepishly.

“You're right, we haven't. How rude,” Kane humbled. “Anyway, I'm Kane.”

“Yes and as you know now, I'm Jalene.” Yue smiled gently.

“And as I've said before, I'm Yue.” Now that we all knew each other— KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK! There was a pounding at the door.

“Yuuuuu-iii!” Gin called, still pounding. Her voice sounded very distant, and I thought that I could only hear her because of the thin door. “Root wants ta see the quiet fello'. Bring `im out will ya?” Heavy steps were heard as she left us in peace once more. Yue rose with a nod and fluidly grabbed Kane's hand.

“Come then,” he said calmly pulling him off the bed and leading him out. At the door he paused to look back at me, and I could only look back at that beautiful gaze of jade. Yue closed the door behind him as he left and I collapsed on the pillows with a sigh, turning to watch the fish as they floating about, darting here and there and doing generally what fish do which wasn't a whole lot else.

I then took another look around this sanctuary, getting up lazily to look around at the contents of the shelves. There were odd bones, which were labeled under a heading of “Dragon.” There were also scales of a multitude of colors as well as a large set of fangs. Next to that, in a pouch were knuckle bones, some crackled, others tarnished. In another hole in the wall was a label reading “Gryphon and Phoenix,” with golden feathers and fiery marble eyes. It was all very interesting, but I couldn't make anything of it.

“Jalene,” I heard a whisper calling my name. I turned around in utter fascination with the entire room. Mist trailed across the floor, the scented candles dazed me, and the lights that bubbled and danced across the room from the fish tank were dreamy. I found Yue standing in the doorway, the door closed behind him, hands still on the knob. He then wandered over to the bathroom, disappearing behind the multicolored beads. I waited for him, as quiet as ever I could be, slightly suspicious as to what was up.

He returned several moments later in a long black robe. It was a thin material, with a golden dragon on the back and hemmed with red. I could only watch, completely absorbed in his actions. For a guy he was pretty hot. He had such a thin frame too. He beckoned me over with a long pale finger, enticing me to join him at the waterfall's side.

“Come join me and cleanse your body, mind and spirit,” he whispered as I finally managed to drift over to where he was. I nodded. For some reason I couldn't even speak. Those eyes…. those beautiful, exhilarating eyes were captivating. He let his robe slip delicately from his shoulders; his lean body that was a creamy moonlit white, tinted blue from the aquarium light, stretched over finely crafted muscle. He stepped into the tub and I followed, shedding my own clothing and leaving them on the floor by the robe.
Yue smiled faintly, his mesmerizing gaze never leaving mine.

“Where's Kane?” I managed to mumble faintly as I leaned against the cold rocky surface.

“Root wanted to question your friend about some of R.A.D.A.R.'s more private things, so I'm afraid he could be gone awhile,” Yue hushed me, settling himself into the obscure bottom of the bath.

“Oh,” was all I breathed in reply. I felt so complacent around this young man that it seemed odd of me to agree with anything that was going on, but there was something strangely soothing about him. It felt as if I were under a spell and that I could be completely at ease around him. I took the three steps leading into the tub and lowered myself into the water. It was cold, and that was something I hadn't expected. I shivered and clutched my shoulders, not wanting to step in any deeper. My mysterious friend only smiled and turned a miniature handle that was hiding behind a small bed of moss. I felt a spray of warm water as the cascade turned from cold to warm.

I took another step into the small pool and sat down, alarmed that it was so deep. The water reached my arm pits when I was fully inclined. I breathed in the warm moist air and sat back, intent. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that I was still hungry and that I was being nagged by something that said I shouldn't be bathing with a stranger.

`But he's not a stranger. He's Yue,' I compromised, shutting my eyes and sighing contently. A certain smell tickled my nose. I opened my eyes to see Yue pouring something from a large glass bottle filled with a white liquid. I saw on the front that it was vanilla spice. I took another deep whiff of the scented bath water, now noticing it was bubble bath.

As the foam mounted, nearly burying me, I began to fear for my life. Alarmed at the amassed amount of bubbles, I looked to Yue who seized my arm and hugged it closely. I looked at him, the rest of my vision surrounded with white.

“Don't worry,” he told me softly, one finger on my nose. The water soaked my braid thoroughly and it felt heavy against my back, but I paid little attention to it. Yue watched me, his hand still on my arm.

“Close your eyes,” he told me once more and I complied with no hesitation. I sat a moment, the water lapping at my body from the gentle waterfall, the soft foam caressing my skin and the scent of it nearly overwhelming me. It wasn't strong, but it was beginning to overpower my senses and I started to feel slightly dizzy.

“Here,” the voice told me, leading me gently towards the edge of the tub, “lean against the wall.”

I lay my arms on the side, hanging my head over. The coolness from the mists woke me up, if only a little and I felt at peace. I rested as Yue placed his hands gently on my body and spoke quietly to me.

“Relax. I only want to help you,” he murmured as he began to massage my shoulders. I was already completely limp.

“Mmmm….” He didn't have to tell me twice to let him sway me. He rubbed my back in circular patterns. Inside my mind was screaming at me to do something and stop him, but my will alone could do nothing.

“You have such a beautiful body,” he breathed, hands now on my belly, face against my back and pressing his bare body close to mine. I closed my eyes and groaned with pleasure at the touch and closeness in which he conveyed. My hands twitched of their own accord.

I sank into the steaming water as well as Yue's touch as he began to caress my skin with tongue and mouth along my back. Furrowed brows emphasized my pleasure as he submerged himself, still grasping my waist, bubbles tickling the skin on my lower back. I hissed as he placed a last kiss at the bottom of my tail bone, his breath causing me to shiver against the sensitivity as he blew gently. The top part of his head emerged, still embracing my bare flesh with nips and licks, his hands feeling their way curiously up my chest. Bubble bath pressed in around me, soft and light like feathers, cushioning my entire body. I fell back into his arms as he began to kiss my shoulders, murmuring to me in Celtic which soon turned to English so that I could understand his speech. One hand stayed on my chest as the other roamed over the rest of my body, playing with dips and fondling the tight flesh that now protruded, so quickly turned on that it sent courses of tremors to strike. I peered warily through half lidded eyes, breathing heavily through an open mouth as the angel set a stroking pace on my body.

“Cleanse,” I panted, once I had gained enough memory to recite what Yue had said. Some part of my mind was conscious enough to divert my lust.

`He said cleanse!' it warned. Yue's fingers idled in their work. He kissed the side of my neck and I moaned with pleasure, the embers within me bursting into flame. He had hit a hot spot, and he wasn't likely to forget it so easily either.

“No,” I pleaded, as if in question first, then stronger. “No….. no… NO!” This last was said so firmly that I jerked myself out of his seductive intoxication.

“No? No what?” Yue asked calmly, stroking my hair. I inhaled deeply.

“No,” I replied, gripping the side of the bath tub, closing my eyes to concentrate and shaking the fogginess from my brain. “No.” My host remained silent, observing me as I cleared my mind. The warm water, the dim lights, the entire ambiance was enough to set anyone off and certainly more than necessary to seduce them as well.

“No,” I exhaled one last time as I floated back into his arms, my eyes closed peacefully. “Just cleanse.” I had to remind him what the purpose of this bath was. Cleanse. He smiled behind me, his eyes twinkling as he chased some of the foam away.

“Alright,” he replied softly, one arm wrapped around my waist, the other lapping water in front to dissolve the bubbles. I nodded against his chest and allowed him to continue. He drew me under the waterfall.

“Hold your breath,” he told me, cupping a hand over my nose and mouth before letting the deluge of pounding water hit me. I sputtered as he pulled me away. Hot water at that pressurized force felt scalding. I coughed several times as Yue pat my back, gazing fondly at me. I was on to him now, and as long as I avoided his gaze, I was able to resist him. At least I hoped I could. Most of the bubble bath had dissolved with the water in its cycle so it was unneeded to rinse ourselves once we were out. The angel stood, stream lined body glistening with water, his sleek ebony hair plastered to his body, his lavender streaks standing out profusely in contrast.

I closed my eyes, slightly blushing as his bare backside swayed down the steps. He shrugged on his robe as I waited sheepishly at the side.

“Yes?” he asked once catching my eye.

“Uh…. Do you have any towels or something to dry off on? An air chamber perhaps?” Air chambers were the quickest way to dry anything. He smiled pleasantly.

“Yes.” He returned a moment later from his drawer with a towel. I thanked him as I stood on the step. I reached my hand out for the towel, but he wouldn't hand it to me. That mysterious glint of mischief stood apparent in his eyes and made me feel suspiciously worried.

“Yue?” He threw my towel aside and hung his head, arms limp by his side. He slipped his robe off to the crook of his arms and took a single step toward me. I backed down into the tub, one foot still on the top step. A wise idea. He climbed to the second step, standing before me. Little had I know that my mouth was hanging open in stupor, and I now closed it as I asked him once more.

“Yue?”

He looked at me, smiling, a lazy hint of lust clouding his eyes. Mine widened, surprised and nearly horrified. He wouldn't be violent would he? I gasped as he lunged, too slow in response to do anything but hold my breath as I was plunged into the now churning water. His lips were locked deeply with mine, streams of bubbles in the way of my vision as he laughed, his robe billowing with the water as it clung to both me and his skin. Yue held tightly around my waist as he pulled me up, struggling against the weight of his burden. I did all I could to hang from his shoulders, wrapping one arm around his back as we went under once more, water sloshing over the rim of the bath in our hectic tussle. I let a short cry recede with the swaying waters before being enveloped in the now clear water once more. The young raven haired boy pulled me up under my arms, propping me against the side of the tub opposite the waterfall and sitting me in his lap so that I shouldn't slip. We both gasped for breath, panting and coughing up lung-fulls of water.

Once regaining his breath with ragged panting, Yue pressed my lower back firmly, leaving me no time to get my mind straight to protest, but obscuring it with lust instead. I whined inside his mouth, his tongue tasting mine as he brought me full on, a shower of sparks flying like the fourth of July as he rubbed my back slowly. I left his mouth with a cough and a moan as he began to bite the side of my neck, my eyes nearly crossed with a fiercesome pleasure. His body jerked against mine, pressing me close to him, one arm holding me firmly around my waist, the other around my shoulders. My hand found its way through his long inky hair, clasping his face against my sensitive skin, hissing with pleasure. God how I wanted him so bad. I began to work my body furiously against his, begging him to take me then and there, oblivious to any factor I had thought before. Being laid by a stranger in his own room. I sounded like a whore. But at that moment I didn't care. The lust and the need were too great.

“Soon,” he whispered against my neck, stroking my hair. My mouth was dry, my mind was exploding! He moved me over to where the rocky bathtub side was against the whole of my back, to where he could gain more support as he ran both hands along my sides and down my thighs. I watched beneath heavy lids, his own blue, lascivious eyes concentrated on mine.

“Be as loud as you want, I promise no one will hear you,” he murmured, breathless, eyes sparkling as two long fingers entered my body. I quivered against their contact. “The walls are soundproof, and I doubt if anyone can hear you through the door unless they were standing right outside, but it's locked so it's okay.” His face was only a breath from mine as he whispered, caressing my thigh with his free hand. My fingers played restlessly with his hair, my other hand clutching his shoulder tightly as he worked me loose. I stared beggingly at him, pleading him to stop playing around and just take me already!

“You want me all, right now?” he breathed against my neck as he withdrew his fingers and held me up against his body, the water lapping at my lower chest.

“Yes,” I sighed, both arms now wrapped around his neck. He smiled against me.

“Alright.”

Both his hands were placed firmly against my hips and he lowered me slightly as he leaned back, guiding his body into mine. I gasped rather audibly, stuttering in breath as he rocked into me. Moaning, I wondered how I could find the breath to do so as I sat embedded in his lap. The overwhelming lust forbade me from thinking otherwise of the situation.

“Mmmm….” I began to thrust against him, my own manhood tightened considerably. He held a finger to his mouth and hushed me, leaning me against the wall of the tub, the splash of water lapping at our heated bodies. I groaned; both hands kept stably against his thin shoulders as he started to work me, slowly at first, the water tugging at our bodies with the motion of our sexual desires.

“Ohh…” I whined as he half stood from the tub to allow us more room from the water, thrusting deeply as there was less liquid in our way.

He kissed me deeply, stroking the underside of my untamed body in distraction as he banged me against the wall, hitting me inside to where I was melting with pleasure. I trembled as he pumped slowly, strongly against me, lowering me back into the current of the water. He grasped me fully and I uttered several panting cries of protest as he brought me forth, running his thumb over the tip and making me moan loudly with extreme pleasure. Several more deep pushes into me and he came as well, letting go of my hips and caressing my legs as he did so. I took several deep breaths, closing my eyes and blinking several times to clear my thoughts. I felt light headed from the heat, both internal and external.

“We should…..sit… and cool off…” Yue panted, holding me close, his head over my shoulder. I nodded. He withdrew from my body before standing me up, I still clutching desperately to his shoulders, my legs weak from our rendezvous.

I was still breathing hard, my braid hanging limply against my back, Yue's robe flowering behind him in the water. We trudged through the waist deep pool, he pulling me along by my waist, I stumbling as best I could.

“Just lay on the bed,” he whispered, helping me from the tub, but I stumbled and he caught me. My vision swayed under the overwhelming heat. Yue grabbed the towel he had thrown aside, wrapping it around my shoulders. It was large enough to reach my knees. His drenched robe trailed behind, flapping dully against his legs as he led me by my hand to his bed, then pushed me down and threw my legs over. The water from Yue's bed tumbled from either side and settled quickly to comfort my weight.

I lay, completely vulnerable to the angel's whim. He smiled softly and placed a hand on my cheek, kissing me a final time before excusing himself to his bathroom. I heard a blow dryer going. An old fashion one no doubt. I closed my eyes, inhaling deeply several more times to catch my breath. Once I could see straight, I sat up, wiping the excess water from my body and drying myself. I squeezed what water I could from my hair, and as soon as I was content that I was dry, I hid under Yue's bed covers, snuggling against them contently and dozing through the dim room lights. I didn't fall asleep, but my mind was at rest as I heard the dryer go off. Mist trailed at Yue's ankles as he joined me, clothed this time in a white turtle neck, black pants and a thin black belt. He smiled as he pulled back the covers, the chill of the air sapping the warmth of my body. I groaned in annoyance and pulled the covers closer to me but the pang of irritation left as I felt him cuddle up to me.

He pulled me close, his cotton clothes soft and warm against my naked skin. His freely flowing hair was soft and he was lightly fragranced with vanilla spice. I was nearly disguised as the blankets reached my nose, my face comfortably against his shoulder. Sighing in contentment once more, I felt drowsy with all I had been through. It was probably about four `o' clock now by my guess, but time didn't matter. My mind was too weary to perceive the shock of what I had been doing only an hour ago when Yue first caressed my body. Moments, even hours later, Yue wondered aloud.

“I wonder what Root's talking to your friend about?” He held me at arm's length. I opened my eyes sleepily at him.

“Hmm… mmm….” He smiled.

“Nevermind. I'll go see soon enough. Go to sleep,” he told me softly, his face nuzzled next to mine, pleased.

“Mmhmmm…” He sang softly for a while in Celtic, and soon I was sound and peacefully asleep.

I awoke no later than an hour afterwards. I sensed something was amiss and groped about with closed eyes for what wasn't there. Yue had left. I grumbled into the pillow before the full impact of what I had done that afternoon hit me like a freight train hurtling along the Chesapeake Bay at 163 miles per hour at 3:15 P.M. on November the fifth. Not that the time, date or speed mattered but it was just a cliché metaphor I had always wanted to use. I was suddenly wide awake, and, I realized, still naked. I jumped out of bed, scanning the room for my clothes and found them neatly folded at the foot of the bed. The mist had cooled them but they were otherwise alright. I threw my T-shirt over my head, stuffed my legs into my jeans and crammed my feet into my shoes, not bothering to tie them. I felt as if I were late for a mandatory meeting with Larin who had, just last time, threatened me with my life if I were to be late to the next meeting. My stomach dropped and my face went pale as I threw open the door and rushed into the main room, stopping short of the couch.
