Chapter 3

 

 

“Heh heh… it's all going perfect she'll be mine soon.” A mysterious voice said from a tree branch.

 

Akina ran home and she opened her door and walked in. After she closed she fell to her knees on the ground. “What happened?!” akina said breathing hard. Akina parents stared at her not knowing what had just happened.

 

“Akina what happened? Are you alright?” akina mother said as she went over to her and tried to comfort her.

 

“MOM! DAD! I WENT TO AYUMI'S AND IT WAS TOTALLY CRASHED AND THERE WERE THESE MONSTERS AND THEY HAD WHITE EYES AND THEN THIS POWER THING CAME OUT OF MY HAND AND THEY POFFED!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND I DON'T KNOW IF AYUMI IS ALRIGHT AND…I don't know” akina said as her mom and she sat on the couch.

 

“Oh honey I really didn't want you to find out like this.” Her mom said

 

“What do you mean?” akina said back in confusion

 

Her dad went over and sat down next to akina. “I know this is going to be really hard to understand but you are different from everyone else…and don't worry it's a good kind of different.”

 

“We should go over and check it out just to make sure everything is okay” akina's mother said to her father.

 

“Yea… you're right” the dad said then got up and the mother followed his lead.

 

“Where are you guys going? You can't go back there! What if there are more of those things!?”

 

“That is the whole reason we're going to find out if there are more. Stay here lock the doors I have my key so don't open it no matter what. The only way that door should open is if me or your father open that door ourselves.” Her mother said

 

This is the first time her mother and father had been so serious. Akina was very afraid she didn't know what was going on, or what was going to happened

 

“We love you akina…no matter what happens we're proud of you” akina's mom said and her father agreed.

 

“Your acting like something bad is gonna happened.”

 

“Don't worry, we'll be back soon” her father said.

 

Then both her father and mother walked out the door and went to ayumi's

 

Akina locked the door like her parents said and sat back on the couch

 

 

1hr and 30 minutes later

 

*knock knock*

 

Akina wasn't expecting the knock at the door so she jumped and ended up falling off the couch.

 

“Ow…” akina said then got up and looked out the peep hole.

 

Akina saw a boy that looked about her age. He had black hair and blue eyes. He looked really tired and kinda dirty.

 

The guy knocked on the door again.

 

“Hey…I forgot what my mom said your name was but you really need to open up the door it's really serious. So stop looking through the little peep thing and open up!” the boy yelled from the other side of the door

 

Akina didn't know who this guy was or why he was at her house, maybe he was at the wrong house. Either way she thought her was really cute.

 

“Hey….akina!! That's your name yea… akina open up the door please I need to get you out of here!” the boy said.

 

`Why does he need to get me out of here' akina thought to herself

 

Just then she heard the back door get smashed open. And saw her parents walk into the living room.

 

“Mom! Dad! Oh my gosh you guys are back! What happened? Is everything okay? Hey there is some odd boy at the door and he says he needs to get me out of her. How come you came in through the back door? I thought you had you key?” akina said but all her parents did was stare at her.

 

“AKINA!! RUN THOSE AREN'T YOU PARENTS! YOUR PARENTS DIED! THEY WERE KILLED THOSE ARE VAMPIRES WHO TOOK THE FORM OF YOUR PARENTS!”

 

“My parents are dead…?” akina said not willing to believe what he just said. Her parents couldn't be dead she was looking at them. And vampires…they aren't real. Again she was confused with everything that was happening.

 

Just as she finished what she said the vampires that she that were her parents rushed towards her. Akina fell on to the floor. One of vampires grabbed her arm and pulled her up. Then the boy kicked open the door and ran inside. He pulled out a stake and killed the first vampire. The second vampire the one that had akina looked up at him. The boy grabbed akina's arm and then kicked the vampire. The vampire let go of akina. The boy grabbed akina and pulled her behind him.

 

“Stay behind be.” He said in a stern voice. Akina shook her head agreeing

 

The vampire got up and started running at the guy. He took a step forward and did a spin kick, hitting the vampire in the face. After the vampire hit the floor he took the stake and stabbed it in the heart, killing it.

 

He turned back around facing akina. She stare at him n wonder and confusion.

 

“So your akina…my name's kyo…so…um…my mom said you were pretty…yea I think you're really hot.”

 

“What that's what you say to me after what just happened! If what you're saying is true then vampires are real and…my parents are dead….” Akina said final realizing everything.

 

Akina fell to her knees on the ground. She couldn't help the tears that were streaming down her face.

 

Kyo walked over to her and hugged her. “I kinda know how you feel… my dad died when I was 6” kyo hugged her tighter. “Come on we need to get out of here…there will probably be more coming soon.”

 

“What!? Where are we going? And what about all my stuff and everything?”

 

“Don't worry about that…I would worry about living and not my stuff” kyo said back to her

 

“Yea…” akina said then stood up and kyo did the same. “Where are we going?”

 

“we are going back to my house. And if we hurry we can catch the last train.” Akina shook her head

 

They walked out of her house and started walking towards the train station. Akina took one last look at her house were all her memories of her parents were. Everything was happening so fast and it was so much to take in at once. Akina thought things couldn't get worse…she was very wrong.
