Raya groaned as she awoke to a blinding light glaring down at her. She looked down at thin sheet that covered her. It did nothing for the coldness of the metal table she was laying on. What was going on? Where was she? All she could remember was her base had been attacked. She knew that she had to have been hit during the explosions. But why was she here? Shouldn't she be laying dead on in the field? A man in an operating gown came into view just before she felt the pinch of the syringe. She faintly wondered why they would drug her rather than the usual gassing, before the world went dark.
