Fan Fiction ❯ Hybrid Genesis ❯ First ( Chapter 14 )
First
*sighs heavily* Okay. Sorry to bug you with a note you probably won't read but...
Hey look... A while ago, I ventured down to Six Flags... Spent twelve hours there, and I was completely exhausted. But, I came back and read reviews (which I have to add, some I was really hoping not to get -happy that I didn't get those feared ones...-) and decided to write more.
Though, I did get one that said to upload chapters slower as to create suspense. Should I? *grins* Of course, I have been having writers' block too you see, and well... Okay, I really need more practice on writing, because I just can't write anything good. Forgive me if this chapter is really bad... I'm trying to get better!
To itoshii-youkai: Hehehe... Lemon, or no lemon? Hm, that's not really the question. I have this `friend' who would throttle me if I didn't promise to write one... Eventually. You'll just have to wait, eh? Isn't it just horrible? And about the tentacles, ooh scary. By the way, you had reviewed chapter three and chapter four previously, and thank you for coming back to read the story... >< I think I've improved, right? Oh, one more thing to thank you for. You were the one that got me writing on this again with your slightly `rude and pushy' review. *grins* What the hey, it was a good push off the edge of writers' block, so thank you. Now if only I could get another good PUSH...
To Shino Ryu: X.x This isn't a GW fanfic... In fact, this isn't even a fanfic.
And to everyone else: Thanks for the reviews, keep reading please!
Croix woke with a yawn. He stretched, rather, tried to stretch, but found his arms immobile. He wiggled a moment before his mind came from its sleepy fog and registered that the comfortable warmth that surrounded him was not normal. It came from strong arms that were wrapped about him. He felt a little faint.
"Um... What are you doing?" Croix squeaked, glad that he hadn't done what he had originally wanted to do... Which was, scream "GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME YOU---!!!"
Seks nuzzled Croix lovingly, smelling the unique and wonderful scent his master had. "Nnn..."
Croix rolled over to see shining golden eyes. He opened his mouth to speak his question again when lips were on his and a tongue was exploring the interior of his mouth. His pet made a sound of pleasure, and all he could do was moan in a weak protest. Finally he pushed his pet away as hard as he could. Unfortunately, his pet was like a brick wall and all he accomplished doing was pushing himself away and off the bed.
He growled from where he lay, snarling up at the ceiling. "Master, are you all right?" his pet asked anxiously, leaning over the bed to check on his master as he had done the last time they had slept together. "Did I do something wrong?"
Croix twitched, his fingers slowly curling into a fist. He punched weakly at his pet, who backed away a little to avoid his fingers. "Stay still so I can hit you..." he growled, sitting up quickly and ignoring how lightheaded that made him feel.
His pet looked at him sadly, his voice wavery as he spoke. "Do you want to hit me, master Croix?"
"I..." Croix lowered his head slightly, his fist tightening in his lap. "It's..." He looked away and stared through his bangs at the wall a moment before standing up awkwardly and walking away.
Seks stood and followed his master hesitantly. Croix jumped as he saw Seks enter the room. He stiffly stood up and walked to Seks. He placed his hands nervously on Seks' shoulders a moment, staring into the golden eyes before turning and walking away quickly. Seks looked after him quizzically. Seks stayed where he was and heard the television turn on a moment later. His ears drooped and he sat down against the wall dejectedly.
Stixx stared at the sterilized tile floor, watching the dull reflection of his masters' dark clothing move like water towards him. It rippled the movement slightly and as his master came to a complete stop, he looked up with a bored expression on his face.
"You'll get to fight him again, don't worry. You'll see. It's only a matter of time that you won't have to wait much longer for... You'll see." Madi said softly.
"For your sake, I hope so." Stixx muttered under his breath.
"It would seem..." Madi continued, ignoring Stixx. "That you are a little rusty on well behavior. I shall have to correct that..." he murmured on.
If Stixx wasn't so stiff, one would almost imagine him rolling his eyes. Stixx just chose to ignore his master as his master was ignoring him. Madi whirled around slamming Stixx up against the wall. The next thing he knew, he was on his back, pinned painfully to the ground by his `slave'.
"W-What are you doing?!" Madi demanded shrilly. Stixx snorted and picked himself off the ground, striding away casually. Madi watched him go, his lips trembling in unspoken fury.
Stixx sighed. His tail twitched back and forth, already completely healed. It was such a shame that Madi was so idiotic. He would have had no problem listening to a competent master, but really, he got a complete moron. He pursed his lips his tongue sliding out and wetting them. Yes, the sheer excitement that battle had brought him was the only reason why he would continue to let the world live as it was...
"Such fools." He murmured, floating a little ways into the air. He looked down and saw Madi walk past him angrily. He floated back to the ground, in almost mock respect.
"Do not do that again, or I shall destroy you." Madi threatened.
A small smirk appeared on Stixx' face, but it disappeared almost immediately. "Yes, master."
Madi snorted in disgust, disappearing from Stixx' sight. Stixx turned his head to the side, looking to his right. Nothing there that resembled any kind of entertainment. He let his head loll lazily and roll to the left as he searched out any activity in that direction. To pursue some kind of fun, he'd have to go searching. He kicked off the ground and flew into the air, searching out someone to pick a fight with.
Chance stared at the ground, his gaze drifting away from his feet to the construction that was gradually getting louder and more annoying by the second. The tunnel to the laboratories was being constructed again, and the noise was almost unbearable. He sighed and stared back at his feet, letting his bangs cover his face so he could somewhat hide from the staring eyes that almost always seemed to fall on him.
He knew that even if they didn't speak it, they were all silently accusing him for the damage that had been done. He heard the muttering and the quiet conversations that they tried to keep from him. Sometimes they didn't, and those hurt almost as much as the hushed ones. He let his tail swish back and forth, wincing as the painful barbs struck his legs again. His wounds were healing pretty well considering the damage he had taken. Some of the scientists had helped with certain technology, and they hadn't been nice and gentle.
Of course Chance didn't cry out or complain. It wasn't his place to do that of course. He had taken everything they had poked and prodded him with and let them do as they needed... And he didn't complain. He rubbed his broken right arm and cringed. That had been probably the most sensitive and painful part of the healing. He had opted to do that by himself, though a few times he had to let them fiddle with it.
"Chance... Come here." commanded a voice.
Chance trotted obediently over to one of the workers. Even if he could have killed any of them -plus they were scared of him- even though, Chance had his orders and would listen to them, and his orders were to listen to all of Axis' friends and obey them. He stood before the worker, waiting for instructions.
"Yes, sir?"
"Lift this for me."
Chance looked down and studied the large metal beam. He lifted it carefully, his muscles straining from the weight. His body ached and his arms especially, but he hefted it onto his left shoulder and awaited his next instruction. The man pointed in a direction, and he walked carefully over to the correct place, setting the beam down. He massaged his sore left arm, relaxing the angry muscles.
"Thanks Chance." the man called and he nodded.
Chance narrowed his eyes and stared at the construction that was taking place. The only thing that came to mind was `Madi' and closely followed by `Stixx'. If Stixx came back now, he knew he couldn't fight. The sheer power that the strange hybrid had, easily surpassed that of his own. His drooping ear flicked slightly, agitated by an itch. He resisted the urge to scratch it, though it was so annoying...
His train of thought snapped back to Madi and Stixx. Madi had created a hybrid in secret from the rest of the scientists and workers... How did he do it? It was so outrageously unbelievable and strange, just... how?
Stixx felt strange power all over the city he was flying over. He knew it came from hybrids of course. The weak humans didn't have enough power for a normal hybrid to feel. Of course, he wasn't a normal hybrid. He could feel the human strength too, but it wasn't as prominent as the lovely, luscious, hybrid strength.
He shivered in anticipation. The power he felt was strong here. His claws dug deep into the skin of his palms as his whole body quaked with desire. Oh how he longed to sink his fangs into soft skin and tear the pale skin of the silver-haired hybrid apart. He wanted it, needed it, was completely obsessed with having that single moment...
Where he would destroy that power. That was what he wanted. Just to grab that sweet neck and twist and mangle it until it snapped... Oh yes, just ripping that lovely skin and letting the red life pour over the silky skin like rivers. Grab that long, unearthly hair and tear it from the fragile skull. Snap those delicate fingers one by one...
Stixx blinked and looked at his hands. Blood dripped from his fingers, and after a glance up, he noticed he had landed in an alleyway and had destroyed a gang of Lawless, painting the walls a morbid red-brown. He rested a sticky hand on his forehead, blowing air up to make his bangs fly out of his eyes.
"Oh well. It wasn't as fun as if it really were him, but, I guess I can't have everything... Yet."
Croix stared as pictures flashed over the television screen. Strange morbid blue and red and green and yellow danced over his eyes. He felt his fingers twitch and he breathed out heavily. He sighed and flopped onto his side, watching as the room suddenly was twisted to match.
"Hey uh... hybrid."
"... Croix?"
"Can you go get another collar for yourself?"
Seks stood up and walked into the living room to Croix. Croix pushed himself up and handed Seks some money. Seks took it and stared at it a moment, his ears twitching curiously.
"... It's money." Croix said impatiently. "Use it to buy a collar for yourself... And for once, don't get it broken!"
Seks winced and backed away. As soon as he was out of the living room he walked swiftly down the hallway and out the door, closing it gently behind him. Then, he ran down the street, tears threatening to fall.
Stixx turned around, a cruel smile spreading over his lips. He sauntered from the alley, licking blood from his fingers. He hummed a little tune joyfully, his eyes glittering maliciously. He turned to the left and his smile grew. He stopped humming and the smile disappeared. He stepped backwards, into the shadows, watching a figure approach.
Chance yawned, stretching his arms above his head. The day was hot already and he wasn't exactly wearing a t-shirt. He groaned in pleasure as his muscles were pulled tight as he stretched, and when he let them relax again he felt as though he would melt into the ground. He spared a glance sideways to watch his master.
Axis paid Chance no attention. He didn't have time for distractions that he knew his hybrid would create. He silently cursed himself for his stupidity. How could he have created such an idiotic, thing?! Another part of his mind just as silently cursed himself for his cruelty. He looked up just in time to see bony wings flash in front of him. His pet had jumped in front of him. Why?
His question was answered just a moment later. "Sir, get down!"
"What---? Ahh!"
Axis was thrown to the ground harshly by none other than Chance, and before he could demand an explanation, Chance was slammed to the ground beside him by something that looked like a black whirlwind of flames.
Stixx threw his head back and cackled, his fingers wrapping around Chance's slim neck. "You'll just have to do for now!"
"Sir..." Chance gasped out, wincing in pain. Chance's fingers tightened into fists and he swung at Stixx, who easily leapt out of the way. "Forgive me!" Chance yelled, running at Stixx, tackling him, and sending both of them flying.
"What do you mean?!" Axis shouted, ducking as bits of concrete flew into the air.
Stixx smiled his deranged smile at Axis and winked. He and Chance disappeared a second later in a brilliant shower of sparks. As the smoke and dust cleared, Axis blinked in surprise. There seemed to be little to no damage, of course... Not mentioning that his hybrid was gone... With Stixx.
Croix sighed as he heard the door open. He set down the papers of his most recent case and looked over his shoulder. His pet stood there beaming, with a collar around his neck. Croix massaged his abused temples and groaned softly.
"Go... Entertain yourself now. I need to get some work done." Croix snapped. His pets' eyes darkened, and he walked away, his tail dragging on the ground. Croix sighed. Sometimes his violet breed could make himself look so god damn pathetic... "I could use a massage..."
Seks turned around and smiled. He bounded over to Croix and placed his hands lightly on his masters' shoulders. Croix tensed, uncomfortable with the close contact. Seks smiled and gave a sigh of pleasure. If only all the time he could be this close...
Chance groaned softly, his head throbbing painfully. He blinked his eyes open, surprised to still see darkness. He moved his arm to see if he could, but found he couldn't. It wasn't because of an injury either. Thick metal held him to a smooth, hard surface.
He tightened his fingers into a fist again and pulled up, but felt cold iron holding him down. He tried to move his legs and tail next, but found both were securely held. He also couldn't lift his head. A thick band of metal strapped around his neck prevented him from moving off the surface he was on.
Then a noise came, making his head absolutely scream with pain. It was a cackle, evil and demonic. It teased him, seeming to ghost over his body. And when it did, pain shot through his nerves, making him thrash in his bonds. He heard soft laughter, almost like a tinkling giggle sound. It should have been pleasant, but it made everything hurt so much worse.
"Exquisite... Lovely... Beautiful... So precious... So rare... So absolutely... Mine... Mine... Mine..." Voices echoed around his head, but as he tried to scream, no sound would come out.
Chance writhed in agony, silent screams pouring from every pore in his body. He wasn't sure what he was trying to scream. For help, relief, salvation... Axis... The word exploded in his mind and his body slowly fell limp, piece by piece. Finally, his mind shut down and he rested in sweet unconsciousness.
