I am the phoenix.
Fiery and passionate.
I cry only when others are sad,
And my tears heal their hurts.
To see such beauty
Cry such searing tears...
It breaks pure hearts,
And then heals them again.
Tears of liquid fire
Fueled by gasoline eyes,
Burn tracks down my skin
And drip flame on the ground.
Tears of burning ice
Stoke the phoenix flame,
Tears of friendship...
And tears of love.
I don't want others
To cry for me,
When my time comes
To leave this Earth.
The flame of sadness
Will always burn within me.
But the love of my friends
Will burn brighter than the sun.
i've said it before, and i'm saying it now: I'm no poet. if you like it, then YAY!! if not, then oh well. i wrote this in five minutes at 2 am. so yeah, please review! will be updated eventually, so i guess i'll see you when i decide to update!
