Fan Fiction ❯ I Live to Serve I Serve to Live ❯ Chapter 15
I Don't own em!!!!!
Ch#15 for those who are keeping track ^_^
Raziel watched over the hard working fledges as they struggled with all of their inhuman might to contsruct the ships he had designed. Lianne was out among them doing far more work then even a sorceress should be capable of. Many large beams and poles and stacks of boards levitated up seemingly of their own accord to settle where they would be nailed in place or stack themselves in new locations where the fledges could more easily reach them for use.
During the day it was the same yet the humans of the clans worked on the vessels.Lianne seemed to be running out of energy though. Raziel could tell something troubled her, but when he asked she denied that anything was wrong. There was nothing he could do but wait. She trusted him and would come to him in time if she did not work out whatever it was.
At that very moment Lianne was locked away behind closed doors magicked like Kain had taught her to fuise with the walls. She took the single perfect hair she had stolen from Lord Raziel when he was in a state of pure afterglow bliss and dropped it into the glowing ball of light on her worktable, once Peter's in his secret lab that she had claimed for her own. It shone brightly. In order to be fair she repeated the test with a hair snatched from Lord Kain. The results were the same! She tried it with a hair boldly taken from Lord Dumah as she had passed him in the halls of sanctuary. Once again the results were the same! All three were perfect for the spell that would allow her to concieve!
She cleaned up the lab and left locking it with a command so that it would only open to herself or Lord Kain, and went padding down to his quarters. "Lianne?" Asked the Young Peter as she entered. "Is your Master about Peter?" She inquired gently. The boy seemed healthy and she saw no signs that Kain had chosen to snack upon the young servant. This made her happier then she had been in a week. She looked up and there was Lord Kain.
"What need you Lianne?" She firmed her resolve and spoke with care. "I require your wisdom on a magical matter. One not for the ears of children." She gestured with a small smile to Young Peter. Kain waved the boy out with a command to go visit his mother for the night and day to come. "Yes Milord Kain." The Young Peter said. Then he exited swiftly.
"What magical matter gives you difficulty then Lianne?" Kain inquired. He already knew what words she would speak. She was trembling with fear and sorrow. Raziel had told him of her long ago dream of being a mother. Now that the secret of her lineage was revealed she obviously hoped to find a way to reverse the magical user and give his son offspring of the flesh!
"I have performed several tests to detirmine the most suitable male vampires for siring offspring in the manner that Rathamus first invented. It is my wish to have children with My Master. However he must want to as well, or it will be impossable and also dangerous to try with him. The results were favorable equally for yourself and Lord Raziel and Lord Dumah. Should my Master refuse to give me children I was wondering if you would consider it?"
Kain felt like someone had kicked him in the gut. Lianne wanted to have a baby and he was ether to be the grandfather or the father? "Of course Lianne. It would be my greatest honor, should Raziel be less then inclined, to offer this aid you require." He responded.
To Liannne it was a great relief to know this. It was also uplifting the way that Kain had only hesitated long enough to let what she had requested sink in before giving his positive reply. She lept into his arms, giving him a fierce hug. Raziel was still out directing the ship construction, so when she felt the hardness of his male organ pressed into her thigh she smirked. "Do you think that Raziel would mind terribly being left out in this instance?" Kain inquired. She just shook her head, already feeling wetness between her legs she wanted Kain so much.
She purred with delight as he swept the contents of a table onto the floor and laid her out on it's surface. She had found that unless she was having her monthly cycles she had little use for underclothes. Her tunic and skirt went flying off in different directions and she was nude under his heated gaze.
Kain slid his hands up to Liannne's tender thighs, his tight grip would most likely leave bruises. He adored how she didn't even care about such things when in passion, nor did she complain later. Parting her tender nether lips with his tongue he tasted of her sweet flavor.
This would be a swift taking and both knew it, but He was familiar with when she should be made love to and when she would be settling for being fucked. This delighted her just as much, her cravings for intmacy with this one she loved so deeply surrounded him. As Kain drove himself into her up to the hilt he held Lianne's head against his chest so she would not see his tears.
Sweet savagery followed for all of a half an hour, very quick quickie for a vampire of such stamina as Lord Kain. Then with a whisper of Magick Lord Kain cleaned up the remains of their pleasure and had the items he knocked to the floor back upon the table's surface as if never disturbed. Lainne grinned at him as she refastened her tunic.
She was dressed just in time and siting at Lord Kain's taloned feet as he read by the weak sunlight filtering through the window. That no longer toubled him at his advanced age as it did the fledglings. Nor did seeing the sunlight streaming in on herself and her Lords Lord bother Lord Turel in the least as he entered to confer with Kain.
As Raziel's younger brother only by a few hours he was going to be commanding one of the ships on the journey. However that would have been so no matter the birth order, for his human village was half empty. "Lord Turel." Lianne acknowledged when his gaze fell on her. He was quite the scholar himself and had obviously been aiding her lord in the ship design and construction for he was covered in sawdust up to his knees and looked most ruffled.
"Little Sister." He greeted in turn and then he turned to Kain. "Father the vessel that will contain your new humans is completed. Raziel has asked that you come and look over it to see if it meets with your approval." He informed Kain. Kain smirked wickedly and lifted her to her feet. "Come Lianne. Let us go see what my eldest and his crews have made." They walked out of the temporary headquarters of what the humans jokingly refered to as Vie Victus shipyards and down to the construction yards. There sitting in it's birth awaiting it's eventual launch was the flagship of their little slaver fleet.
It was glorious indeed. The great oceangoing vessel would easily contain the five hundred humans Lord Kain had requested be brought to him, as well as any property and animals they needed to bring with them. Lianne had worked hard to come up with a plan of action that would be acceptable for Lord Kain and Lord Raziel on how they would take the villages. It had been decided that they would sneak in at night with all the fledge crews and she would enchant the sleeping town to be unconcious beyond being woken. They would have the fledges smell out every human in a village and return them to the waiting ships. Then when day hit the humans they had brought from nosgoth's shores, or at least the one's Lianne determined were too honest to steal things for themselves, would go in and retrieve each person's belongings and livestock. They would carefully note which house or outbuilding each human and piece of property came from and match them up again on the Nosgoth side of the ocean.
She had also said they would fill each craft with villagers one boat at a time so that no families would be seperated. To make sure they listened she had insisted. Lianne smiled as Kain went over the vessel and looked at each and every part as if he was certain he could detect any defects. There were none she was sure. Her Lord was to clever for his own good and even should some gear or system fail he had built in triple thick redundancies to make certain the vessels were safe. The bunks on the hold with their chain links and chains were ready, each having a grey wool blanket folded up at the foot. In between each bunk and the next were two buckets. One for offal and the other for clean water to give to the captives. This too she had insisted on so that the new humans would not get ill or stink to much.
Lord Kain had finished his inspection, and as she had known he would , found everything to be just as it should be. "All that remains is to name her and she can be launched." Lord Raziel said. "Can I name her Lord Kain?" Lianne requested. "Certainly my dear, just nothing floral." She smiled at him, having been given a perfct idea by her fellow humans. Lianne then grabbed a pain bucket and a brush and had someone near to the woodcarvers hut hand her the stencils made out of thick paper that would make the letters smooth and unmarred by drips or smudges. When she was done she marched Lord Kain back and covered his eyes with her hands though she had to reinvoke the floating charm to do so. "Okay now you can look!"
Sitting there in her birth was the N.S.S. Vie Victus. Lord Kain stared. He blinked a few times and then he looked again. Then he burst out laughing. "Very good Lianne." Lord Raziel said muffling his chuckles. In the weeks that followed the completed the construction of Lord Turel's vessel named the Star Seeker after it's captain's hobby of astronomy, the Wave Fang which belonged to Lord Rahab, Lord Melchiah's smaller craft the Mermaid's Scale, and Lord Dumah's Dark Cutter, which was in betwen the size of his little brother's and his maker's ships. Last that remained to be completed, were Lord Raziel's craft and that of Lord Zephon who needed not a very large craft at all as his human clan's village was the most isolated and least affcted by the plagues.
"So my dearest lady, will you name our master's vessel also?" Hanoshin, an elder son of Lord Raziel's, inquired as they worked to raise the main mast into position. "Mayhap he will permit me to my friend, but one never knows for certain what he is up to until the last possible second. That and I think he's going to name it something surprising himself." Lianne replied. Hanoshin smirked at her and she smirked back. Both knew she was bullshitting hardcore about not knowing what their master was up to. She often knew Raziel's thoughts at the exact same second and had spoken them ahead of him several times.
The mast rose carefully skyward, then stabilized and sank into it's final position. It was secured in place and the mast raisers lept back ashore to take a break while the deck maker crew went to place the deck planks in and secure them. She calmly assumed her usual resting position under Lord Raziel's desk. Lianne curled up in such a way that she left only enough room for his feet to be stuck under when he pulled up his chair. He was presently at his desk so he looked down in time to catch her `see you after some sleep' smile and accept one caress of his calf muscle by her slightly calused hands.
Raziel was indeed planning to name his vessel something special. So he snuck out as his children were seeking their resting nests in the sea caves to paint the name of his Ship on it's appropriate places. Thinking carefully over the last weeks he had decided not only would he honor Lianne but her whole local family. Thus he named it the Merry Traveler after her parent's inn. He grinned and went back into his office. There sat Lianne up against one wall wrapped in a woolen blanket as spring was just getting rid of the chill in the air. She was so deeply asleep that he easily lifted her and took her down to the basement underneath his impromptu office. They had rested here as it was ten days travel back and forth from his stronghold by normal slower means. He pulled the harsh blanket off and tucked her into the softer covers of their shared bed.
Lianne woke up to the soft touch of a three clawed hand. It did not even disturb her anymore that she was touched more often by talons then by fingers. She just oppened her eys and mouthed what the vampire standing over her. "Help me to wake my brother please. He is most stubborn in getting up at night when he doesn't feel so inclined. Of course I am sure you have noticed that by now." Lord Turel said. She smirked and offered him the best way she had yet discovered, aside from intimately touching him, to awaken her sleeping master. "We bounce him awake." She told Lord Turel. "Bounce?" He asked back.
"Yea we bounce him by jumping up and down on the bed. The vibrations make him think he is ether being attacked or about to get woken up by my other favorite method. Ether way he shoots straight up and is fully awake after that." Lord Turel grinned at her and made sure to check his feet before she helped him into a standing position at the foot of the bed. After a three count they were jumping up and down in time to Lianne's heartbeats and his brother shot up, snatched Lianne and disappeared back under the blankets for a moment.
When they reappeared Liannes lips were swollen slightly and she had a dazed grin on her features to match that of his brother. "You two are how old again?" Turel mocked readily. "Ah my dear scholarly brother you are just jealous because former Knights and former Monks get all the ass." Raziel returned. Lianne just smiled and laid back to listen to the exchange. All that these brothers did now was done from a place of fondness and true brotherly love for one another. Not that it made them any less dangerous then they had been. It actually made them more of a threat to those outside their circle, for now they were inseperably united.
Raziel carefully extracted himself from the blankets and went out to see what was wrong that his brother had needed to wake him. "Be a good brother and play with Lianne while I deal with whatever chaos has errupted this time." Lord Raziel told Lord Turel. Turel looked at her oddly. "Am I not exactly your cup of tea?" Lianne asked. "Nay little sister. It is just that I don't exactly think I am yours." He said carefully.
"You are not all that violent in bed are you?" He shook his head. "Care intirely for males?" Again a negative shake. "Then you are my type dear. I hate to admit it but ever since I met up with Lord Raziel I found that making love to various members of his vampire family is actually quite pleasant and pleasurable. I have also learned that I can easily love them all a great deal. Many might think me slutty for it. However, I am determined that I am going to enjoy myself with or without their good opinion so I don't rightly care." She admitted. Then Lianne reached out and drew Lord Turel down onto the bed.
Raziel had sensed his brother's ill humor and knowing Lianne for the brightener of days that she was he had been okay with sharing her for a while. He could sense Lianne's pleasure at his scholarly brother's technique. And he chuckled outright when Hanoshin arched an inquiring eyebrow before making a hand gesture to indicate `where is your pet?' "She is intertaining my brother Turel. Most likely they will keep it up all the night. So do not expect her for lifting duty today." He instructed this one of his eldest.
"We do not exactly need her on this shift anymore now that she has taught myself and Jeremy the spell that allows us to levitate things. However her work is much apriciated and she does make things more cheery for the humans so I would suggest cutting her back to one shift a day instead of two." At his arched eyebrow the fledge paused until his master gestured that he continue.
"Maybe if you order her the lady might listen. Jeremy has confided in me that he is concerned over her well being of late, and I must agree with his asessment. She looks like she is dying by inches. All the intense labor can not be aiding whatever emotional trouble plagues her. However it is really none of my business and I appologize my Lord." The Fledge bowed again and sought his way back up the ladder to continue his work.
Raziel decided that once Lianne had finished with Turel he was going to insist that she tell him what concerns so disturbed her. If the fledges were noticing then it was a troublesome worry indeed. She usually kept that cheery face on for all whom she associated with and only let it down for himself or Kain. He ran the operation for his brother's boat for a while. Zephon had not been out to see the constrcution since the completion of Dumah's boat and he wondered what could be keeping his dear brother.
As if thinking of him had smmoned him forth Zephon appeared at his side. In tow was a cheerful and strangely healthy looking Melchiah. "Tell me youngest brother how is it that you look so healthy?" Raziel asked. "Your woman found a mystical way to strengthen the three of us whom are youngest. While my boat was being constructed she used Lord Kain's feeding to gather life energy and pumped us full of it. The result is quite `enchanting' I suppose one could say." The three of them laughed at Melchiah's humor and truned back to watch as the main mast was put in place on the Night Spark.
"I have noticed however that your woman is not exactly in the right frame of mind to be going with us on such a dangerous mission. Whatever the hell it is that is throwing her off her normally compitent persona you had best deal with it. I do not like the idea of facing hunters of the level that can defeat the Serafan Lord with ease having only a very distracted magicker at my side." Zephon informed him. "You are right and so this ends now." Raziel agreed. He turned and with a flutter of his clan flag strode towards his office.
Turel sensed his brother incoming and he carefully extracted himself from the grinning Lianne. He too felt immensely better after having shared her favors. Now he could see what all his brothers had been ranting about. "He's mad about something Lianne best be ready for it." He cautioned the smirking human. "I know it Lord Turel and I thank you for a pleasant eventide. You had best be out of here. This discussion has been coming for a while and it would seem that I have put it off as long as I can." Lianne told him. He bowed and gathering what few things he had not returned to their places on his body he departed.
Raziel greeted him on his exit. "Thank you most kindly my most beloved brother. That was exactly what I needed. She awaits you now." He told him. Then Turel departed up the stairs and went to check on the loading of his craft. He however did not allow his brothers to go on beside Raziel. "Give them some space brothers. They have important and delicate things to work out." He ordered. They nodded and followed their second eldest brother back out the door.
