I Will Not Stand Still
A slight groan was able to be heard.
The room was dark ,yet you could see figures moving around. The dim lights flashed on and off.
A female figure stood straight.
“ I have stayed here way to long. I am not that weak” she spoke.
She stepped into the light. Her hair straight and pink; it went down past her shoulders. Her legs were cut up and in bruises; she wore black boots that went up to her knee. She also wore a torn up black dress with a grey nobody seal on it.
There was a ruffling sound that filled the room. Two shadows formed in front of her.
“Where are you going?” they asked.
She smiled,” I’m leaving”
The figures looked at each other then sighed,” we can’t let you and you know it.” they smirked.
The girl smiled,” I know.” Her eyes turned from blue-grey to completely black. A blue light shone around her.
“ I am weak no longer. I am not a helpless girl anymore” she yelled and a wind picked up inside the dim room crushing the shadows. She turned back to her normal state and ran out of the building.
She ran faster looking back.
“Riku.” she whispered under her breath.
The girl ran for thirty minutes till she was out of breath. She leaned against a tree; she looked down at her hands.
“ Aelita, look at what you have become”
The sun set slowly and the sounds of the night came to life. Aelita looked around.
“ My wings, they’re gone” she sighed.
She scratched her head and yawned,” I have to leave this world”. She stood up and started walking down a dirt road.
As days passed her wounds began to slowly heal. Aelita didn’t depend on magic that much. It was of no use where used to be.
She had grown in the past two years. Ever since she disappeared from Riku’s arms she promised herself she will get out herself. She will depend only on herself.
Many days passed till she get even near a world exit, but when she did she took a deep breath and walked over to a shack to see if she was able to rent a ship.
“ Excuse me?” she walked to the counter.
A boy with black shaggy hair and a nobody shirt came out,” yes?” he asked
Aelita cleared her throat,” Can I rent a ship here?” she asked.
The boy nodded,” sure, does it matter to you what model it is?”
She shook her head and he walked out to the garage to look at the ships.
Aelita looked around and followed him into the garage.
He walked to Aelita and handed her a pair of green keys.
She smiled and bowed,” thank you,sir” she said gratefully.
He nodded.
“No problem, miss.”
She gave him 4 coins and got in the ship.
She went to the drivers seat and sighed ,” the last time I was on one of these I was looking for you, Riku” she frowned then stared the ship.
Her trip was quiet and slow.
The world she wanted to go to most was Treverse Town.
She did try going straight to Destiny Islands but she wasn’t able too. She was going to find Riku herself.
The ship crashed into the third district of Treverse Town.
Aelita got out with only one scratch on her cheek.
“ Better get going.” she ran out of the district.
