"The girl is fifth-teen, she can take care of herself...right?" Yuffie said, getting even more worried by the second. "But It was our fault, the only reason she ran away is because of us...and what we said to her." Aerith replied.

Aerith and Yuffie were looking everywhere for Sky. They looked in the first district, Leon and Cloud looked in the second and Sora, Riku and Kairi looked in the third.

"Yeah, we tried to explain but....the word's alway's seemed to come out wrong." Yuffie said.

"Well since we can't find her here let's help Leon & Cloud." Aerith said.

"Okay, but I wonder how Sky is doing....she hasn't come home yet. Usually all we have to do is go to the front door and yell dinner....but it's not working anymore, she's probably living off scrap's. Come to think of it...we never took her seriously, it was her size...she's small for a fifth-teen year old." Yuffie replied.

"Great, why did she have to run away?" Leon asked Cloud, as they walked into the second district. (A/N: let's say there house is in the first district...and it's one big house with two floor's, it'll be explained later on in the chapter).

"Because, we're reason she ran away in the first place. Remember?" Cloud answered, annoyed by this whole situation.

"This is not good" Leon replied. "You got that right, she so small...she's probably so skinny now that she could fit through small space's" Cloud said.

"It's thing's like what you just said, that could make her runaway" Leon replied. "I guess your right" Cloud agreed. "Come on, we gotta find her and apologize." Leon said.

"They should take her a little more serious, we wouldn't be searching if they did." Riku said, scanning the area of the 3rd district. "Your right. But it's pretty small here so there won't be much searching to do." Sora said.

"How many places could she hide in anyways?" Kairi asked. "A lot" Sora replied, thinking of all the place he had visited here.

Sky was hiding where she thought no one was to find her. She hated this day.

Well, this pretty much started off with a normal day in the household...

~*~*~*Flashback~*~*~*

~*~*~*Sky's Dream~*~*~*

Sky walked into the gloomy forest in front of her...it was dark out, nothing but the moon to illuminate the way. With each foot step she took, she went deeper into the forest and the darker it got...for the moon was leaving sight.

When it got pitch-black, Sky stood there alone...but not afraid.

...Watch where you step...if you fall, you won't get back up....

*The voice...it's back*

Sky looked for a sign of light to show her a path, but there was none.

...Watch where you step...if you fall, you won't get back up....

*That voice, it seem's so familiar...but why?*

She took a step forward and then hesitating, after hearing a slither. She looked to the ground to see a snake slither near her leg. She found herself unable to move...again.

...Watch where you step...if you fall, you won't get back up....

The snake then bit her leg, the teeth, sinking through her skin. She winced in pain and fell to the ground from the pain that was growing stronger. She tried to get up...but found that she couldn't...

~*~*~*End of Sky's dream~*~*~*

Sky awoke thinking back to her dream.

...Watch where you step...if you fall, you won't get back up....

*Why does that voice keep coming back? Why is it so familiar and what does it mean?* she thought, as she looked over to her alarm clock. *It's only 3:24* she thought as she sat up. "Such a great time to be awake" she whispered, as she got up. Sky instantly fell back on her bed after feeling a sharp pain on her right leg. She chose to ignore it and decided to take a walk outside. Putting on her cloak was all she had to do, for somehow she had fallen asleep with her clothes on.

She walked out of her room and walked down the stair's, since all the room's were upstairs all she had to do was go through the hall to get to the kitchen, which had a back door. The kitchen also led to the living room, Sky decided to make it harder and try to go out through the living room door.

Halfway through the hallway, she bumped into someone, looking up she saw Riku. He was also in his clothes. Once again Sky felt the pain in her leg and almost fell down, that is if Riku hadn't caught her.

"Thanks" she whispered, as he let her go. "Your welcome. What are you doing out here anyway?" he asked.

"Shouldn't I be asking you the same thing?" Sky asked.

"Why do you ask?" Riku replied.

"Why shouldn't I" Sky said.

"Why should you" Riku replied, amusement Shining his eye's.

"You got me there." Sky said, as both of them started to laugh.

They soon stopped as the space between there lip's began getting smaller and smaller until they kissed.

*Why do I give in to you so quickly Riku? Have I fallen for you so fast as to letting you kiss me*

This time she broke the kiss, looking up at him. This time she knew what she wanted...something that she had never had...

The pain in her leg came back and she winced in pain, once again he caught her as she fell.

"What is it?" he whispered in her ear. "I'll tell you when we get in the living room." she answered. She tried to walk, but found that she couldn't. "It's no use walking, so I'll carry you." Riku said.

So to make it easier, he carried her to the living room bridal style.

To his surprise she didn't weigh much at all, not that she looked like she did.

Once they got there he set her on the couch and sat next to her. "Thanks...again" Sky said. He layed her head on his lap and stroked her hair. She looked up him, a smile forming on her lip's. "So, you gonna tell me or not?" Riku asked.

"Well I can't explain it. I was dreaming and in my dream I was walking in a dark forest. The forest only had the light that the moon could give. I started to walk but hesitated because I felt something slither near my leg. I looked down to see a snake...and then I heard that voice." Sky said, looking up at him. "You hear voices?" Riku asked. "Yeah and I know I'm not crazy because I don't hear them outside of my dream's." she said, waiting to see If Riku had something to say. When she knew that he didn't, she went on.

"The voice said.....watch where you step, if you fall...you won't get back up. I ignored it and was about to step forward, because I forgot about the snake...so when I did take a step, it bit me...I fell down and when I tried to get up...I couldn't." Sky said.

Riku took a look at her right leg, he took a closer look and there he saw a snake bite...

"Sky, I think I see the problem...you said the snake bit you right?" he asked. "Yeah...why" she asked.

"You have a snake bite on your right leg, a deep one to..." he replied. "What?" she whispered. "Here, I'll treat it. You gotta first aid kit?" he asked getting up. "Yeah, in the bathroom cabinet." she answered. So he left to go get it and came back second's later. He opened it and took Sky's leg in is hand. He rolled up her pant's and rubbed some medicine on her leg, he then wrapped it up in a bandage. When he was done, he sat back down.

"Where'd you learn that?" she asked. "When Sora and me were little, a snake had bit him while we were in the secret cave. His mom taught us first aid." he replied. "The secret cave?" she asked, confused. "Yeah" he replied. So he explained to her about everything, where he came from, how he met Kairi, and even about the Kingdom Heart's. "You've been through a rough life haven't you" she whispered. "Yeah, I guess I have." he whispered back.

Sky went over to him and kissed him, then she whispered in his ear. "Well if it make's you feel any better.....ai shiteru.
