"So she's still as stubborn as ever eh?" Riku questioned to himself more then to anyone else, Sky was persistent and he could bet that it would be hard to get his lover.

No one said anything for a while, until Riku left.

"You think he's going to go look for Sky" Rikku asked, her green eyes showing worry over the both of them, they could get into a fight or something, she didn't know, her mind could think of a lot of things that could go on between them, but fighting was the worst.

"Maybe...maybe he just misses her too much to keep her away, you know how they are, hardly ever apart until now" Yuffie said. Everyone agreed with Yuffie, even Leon, which surprised her a bit.

Luckily, it had stopped raining a long time ago, so all there were was puddles of darkness, the blue water looking a midnight black. All he had to do was find Sky, but then again, it only sounded easy. He knew she was in the first district, but where in it?

"Why are you wasting your time?" a very familiar voice asked him as a certain someone asked. Sky was right in front of him, but he didn't answer here question.

She said nothing while walking over to the accessory shop, they were both being silent.

Great...he felt just like he had when he first met her, like he'd have to gain her trust for her to like him.

"I wouldn't talk to you if I didn't care you know" Sky said after a while as they both sat on the steps.

He still said nothing, he didn't know what to say. Another moment of silence.

"I take it I can't hurt Kairi, right?" Sky said breaking it. He looked at her with a serious yet some what angry face, "What is it with you wanting to hurt her so badly" his words were harsh and said within a cold voice and she knew he was angry over this. He did care about Kairi and even though Kairi couldn't see it, she was the one drifting Riku and Sky apart.

She would just leave, there was nothing here for her, he hated her, and thats exactly how she felt, she felt alone again, just like she was meant to be, no one wanted her. Not Riku, not anyone, so if he was going to act like that, she would just leave him alone.

"I see she's changed you over the past few days. I'll be taking my leave now" with that she got up and started walking away.

She took only about five steps before she felt his hand take her wrist. "Don't touch me" her voice was serious, and he knew it.

*What's gotten into her?* he though, he still held on to her, refusing to let her go.

"Are you saying you won't let me go?" Sky asked.

"Not for a second time." at this she calmed down but didn't show it. So he still wanted her around, she assumed to quickly of him and the others.

She felt his hand move from her wrist to her waist and pull her to him so that they're bodies touched slightly.

He turned her around so he could see her face and with his hand he lightly touched her cheek. She looked down, he was still as gentle with her as ever, and she hated the fact that she liked it. She was going soft from all the love he's given her, and that could change a person, like it had her.

He lifted her face up the way he always did when he wanted just to look at her. Unexpected to her, he hugged her tightly as if he didn't want to let her go, afraid she would leave again. She hugged him back, his familiar scent coming back to her.

"Come back with me" he whispered. Her eyes softened as she laid her head on his shoulder. She gave in to him too much for her own good and she knew it, but she didn't care because she knew he wasn't going to leave her. So with that, she followed him back to the house.

Her room was the same as always, nothing had changed. Turning on the lights, she moved from her doorway and into her room. She spotted something, and smiled on the inside, there on her bed was left a red thorn less rose. It seemed to have been put there about a few minutes ago.

"Your smiling, I can tell" she felt Riku's arms go around her waist right in-between his words.

"And if I am?" she questioned, now letting herself show it. "Nothing, you just don't smile much" he replied, laying them both on her bed. She settled herself as he lightly stroked her soft black hair. She closed her eyes and soon slowly drifted off to sleep in his arms as he laid there, thinking only of her.

He soon fell asleep along with her, not wanting to leave her, but also not caring what the others would think if he stayed and they found the two sleeping in each others arms, for this moment, the two of them would worry about nothing as they let sleep take them within a humble bliss of dreaming.
