I lie in bed,
Such a small bed,
Yet it feels so big and empty.
Like a small child,
It seems I can't sleep alone.

And I lie in bed,
Such a small bed,
And I dream,
Teal eyes still open.

I sit up in bed,
Such a small bed,
And I wonder why I can't sleep.

I sleep in bed,
Such a small bed,
And nary a dream,
Not one in my head.

I cry in my pillow,
Such a soft pillow,
And I wonder why I cry.

I close my eyes in bed,
Such a small bed,
And it feels like they are open,
Eyes closed tight.

And soon I'll fade away in that bed,
That small, little bed,
Alone.. unafraid.
