Chapter 14: Castle Infiltrated!

 

 

The teams depart. They went down the hill and entered a small forest. Eventually they entered the city. They jumped over buildings to reach the Main Castle which was in the center.

 

“I am worried” said Shana to Temari. “Why?” asks Temari.

 

“This is the first time I have such a serious duty in my hands” replied Shana.

 

“Do not worry, I expect resistance to be low, besides in case of any battle I fight. You guys stay away” said Temari.

 

“So, we are not going to fight?” asks a desperate Sandou,

 

“No Sandou. This is not a simple mission. This is a serious mission, millions will depend on us.” replied Temari.

 

“In other words, don't screw up please” said Nyosuke.

 

“Why you...!!! I swear I will not screw anything!” said Sandou.

 

Roshika and Shozen were running away from Temari's team, but parallel.

 

“Do you think they will be alright?” asked Roshika.

 

“I have had many assignments with Temari in the past, I know what she is capable of. It will all be ok. Besides, I trust those kids” said Shozen.

 

“I swear this is the first time I hear you saying that” said Roshika with a smile.

 

“Well, I see great potential in them. Especially Sandou, that is the one with the most potential” said Shozen.

“Yeah. Between Nyosuke and him, I would think they are even, even if Sandou's level is lower” said Roshika.

 

“You are forgetting Sandou's hidden element” said Shozen with a smile.

 

“I highly doubt he will ever develop those powers to their fullest.” said Roshika.

 

“Have you ever asked him what his ambitions are?” asked Shozen.

 

“He usually never talks about that. And I have never really asked, not even since the team first gathered. But I constantly hear him talking about power, and how he just wants to be come super strong” replied Roshika.

 

“They are your first team right?” asked Shozen.

 

“Yeah. They are my first since I left the Special Team” said Roshika.

 

“Yeah the four of us. Damn some of those assignments were damn hard.” replied Shozen.

 

“Yeah, but there is one I will never forget.” continued Roshika.

 

“I prefer not to talk about those events now though. I want to have my mind as clean as possible” said Shozen.

 

“We are like the old Special Team, except with three. You, me and Temari. But you know, I sometimes wish he was alive” said Roshika.

 

“I recommend you don't start remembering those times. Right now, our focus is to enter the castle and rescue the Emperor.” said Shozen.

 

“Yeah, they usually just block your head.” said Roshika.

 

“One of the Castle's towers ahead. Main Hangar is in the far left side of the Castle.” said Shozen.

 

Meanwhile, in Temari's team.

 

“Ok team, time to speed up. We must get ahead of them, so come, faster!” she said as they all started to run even faster.

 

“It is weird, the defense is poor. It's like they are waiting for us” said Nyosuke.

 

“I agree with you. It's too quiet.” said Temari as they passed through a bunch of trees.

 

“Ahead is a fence of some kind” said Nyosuke.

 

“It's a division fence. We can't take it out or it will activate the alarm. We will jump over it!” said Temari as she sped up even more.

 

They eventually jumped over the fence. Over ahead was the entrance to the Main Hangar. Soldiers were seen leaving the building. They all had a “Z” symbol.

 

“That is the last batch of soldiers. The Z in their shirts represent that they are the last battalion” said Temari.

 

At their right there was a tree.

 

“We will climb the tree, and jump over the roof. From there we will run as fast as we can to a window in the third floor, get ready” said Temari.

 

Temari climbed the tree first, then Sandou followed her. But when Nyosuke was going to climb Shana held him by an arm.

 

“Tell me you will be ok” she said as she let go of a tear.

 

“I will be alright, I swear I will” said Nyosuke.

 

“After this, do you think we can go out in a date?” asked a more smiling Shana.

 

“Of course” replied Nyosuke.

 

But from above Sandou was looking at them. His look turned to an angry one.

 

They climbed the tree.

 

“I feel a presence in that hangar” thought Temari.

 

“Ok let's go!” she said. The 4 of them jumped over the hangar. The noise wasn't too high.

 

“LET'S GO!” said Temari. They ran as fast as they could.

 

“We are making too much noise!” said Sandou. “We want to attract attention!” replied Temari as they all kept running.

 

“There is the window” said Nyosuke.

 

It was amazingly unprotected.

 

“This is too... weird” kept thinking Temari.

 

They arrived at the window and Temari broke it with a psychic wave. They entered through it. In the inside there were three soldiers, each with a sword in each hand.

“Ambush” said Temari.

 

From behind them 7 more soldiers appeared, one of them ported a Matter Cannon.

 

“Damn!” said Shana.

 

“Psychic Control” said Temari as she closed her eyes.

 

The man that was porting the Matter Cannon suddenly began to act strange. He pointed the cannon towards two of the soldiers and shot it. A green ball of Matter was shot and killed those two soldiers.

 

“I can't control myself!” kept yelling the soldier with the cannon.

 

The men with the sword charged towards the kids.

 

Temari then drew a sword.

 

“You are not going far” she said as she slowly opened her eyes.

 

She suddenly disappeared.

“WHAT!” yelled one of the soldiers.

 

Then from nowhere she appeared behind them. With a quick slash she took away their lives, in one single slash. The blood spattered to the floor.

 

Suddenly she disappeared once again.

 

Then another of the soldiers was lifted from the ground and thrown towards a wall. He hit it with the head and died in an instant.

 

Then she appeared in front of the 4 remaining soldiers. She cut the head off of the one carrying the cannon. Then with a quick turn she sliced another soldier in two. She extends her arm and throws a psychic wave that pushes the remaining 2 soldiers towards the wall. Suddenly two swords appear from the walls.

 

A burst of blood falls. The 2 men are hanging in the wall by the swords.

 

“Wow....” said Sandou surprised.

 

Shana gets ready to throw up.

 

“Don't” said Nyosuke, while looking at Temari which was looking the at 2 men hanging.

 

Then she looks at the kids.

 

“I said I would fight, and I did right?” she said.

 

“I understand. This is war” said Sandou, more excited than ever.

 

“Kids, we gotta go ahead” said Temari.

 

Meanwhile, in the hill where Samari, Neiki and Nakaru were...

 

“I hope they are alright” said Nakaru. “They are” replied Samari. Suddenly a shadow is seen in the rocks.

 

Two men land by their sides and draw some small knifes and put them at Nakaru's throat.

 

“WHAT!” said Samari.

 

“Why me!” said Nakaru obviously scared.

 

“We are expecting Shozen of Hi Go An here, not 3 kids. Identify yourself!” said one of the men.

 

“No, no! We are waiting here for you, to explain everything. We are Numbus from Hi Go as well!” said Samari.

 

“What? Where is Shozen?” said one of the men.

 

“I'll explain but please take off the knife off my friend!” said Samari. The two men acceded.

“You are scouts right?” asked Samari.

 

“Yes we are” they replied.

 

“Then I shall explain everything...” said Samari. She explained to them the events that had happened.

 

After a while she finished.

 

“Then this is worst than we thought. We must meet with Commander Amy immediately and tell her about this. The Capital Soldier movement is towards the coast... That means they are waiting for us there” said one of the scouts.

 

“Kids come with us!” said the other scout.

 

Eventually they reached a spot where the army was camping.

“We bring news!” said one of the scouts as he landed in front of the tent where Commander Amy and Leader Tomoro were.

 

The scout explained everything to them.

 

Then a cornet was heard.

 

“Forces Stand Up! To the north, to the Great Sea Coast!” said a man.

 

Everyone grabbed their swords and shields and got ready to fight.

 

They began to march towards the Great Sea Coast. They were about a force of over 5000 Numbus. Some had Catapults with them. Among them there were 7 tall brown towers that were being hidden by concealment shields.

 

Atop those towers there were 7 old woman, one in each tower.

 

Leader Tomoro gathered a team of about 4 Numbus.

“Amy, from here on you command everything. I must go ahead, with this small team. I will save the Emperor directly, you do the war!” said Tomoro.

 

“Yes... Yes sir!” said Amy.

Tomoro then left with his team.

 

“What are we supposed to do now” asked Samari. Them 3 were in a small tent. Suddenly someone appeared there.

 

“You are coming to the war” said a man.

 

Meanwhile in the Great Sea Cost, the Capital Forces were in one side. They had as well 7 towers. In front of them there was a lot of space, space enough for the Numbus army.

 

In the meantime, Roshika and Shozen arrived at the Main Hangar. They entered through a window. The gigantic place was empty. Just some crates here and there.

“They deployed their whole army” said Shozen.

 

Still, the place was lit up. They walked towards a big door in the far side of the hangar.

 

“I feel a presence” said Shozen. “Me too” said Roshika. “Your Doujutsu, keep charging it” said Shozen.

 

Then suddenly the big door moved to the sides. A man in dark robe was in the center of the door.

 

Shozen and Roshika drew their swords, one in each hand. The man in the dark robe drew one big sword, a Masamune. He walked towards the light.

 

“A Dabus” said Shozen.

 

The man took out the coat over his face, revealing a man. His face was very pale, middle aged like 35, and dark black lines were around his face. He had two horns, small ones in his head. He was bald too. The iris of the eye was Yellow and Orange, while the actual eye was black. His teeth were pointy, like a demon.

 

“Who are you” said Roshika as he walked towards the man.

 

“My name is Unyon of the Dabus” said Unyon.

 

Then they all stopped walking and stared at each other.

 

Meanwhile in the Great Coast, the first Numbus forces arrived. The war is about to start!
