Chapter 16: Secrets Revealed

 

 

“You are dead” said Shozen as he looked towards the whole in the wall.

 

“If I am dead why I am here!” yelled Unyon.

 

“I saw you die in front of me!!” yelled Shozen.

“Instructions are here, we are to infiltrate a hidden base, West side of the Capital. Reports inform that some strange movements are going there, possibly related to a new rebel force” said a younger Shozen.

 

They were set sitting behind some trees and a fire in front of them. There were three people, Roshika, Temari, and another man.

 

“A new rebel force?” asked Temari.

 

“Yes, there seems many hate the current government” said Shozen as he took up his sword.

 

“Hirameki, hand me my sword” said Roshika towards the other man.

 

“Sure” replied Hirameki, who was a young man with black hair that fell over his shoulders, blue eyes and quite tall. He hands the sword to Roshika.

 

“Ok team we are done. Let's get ready, we have few hours to arrive there” said Shozen.

 

The Special Team departs. Swiftly and using many shortcuts they arrive at the place in a matter of hours.

 

“Hirameki... take them out from here” said Shozen to Hirameki. There were 3 people in front of a building.

 

Hirameki closes his eyes and extends his arm. Suddenly the land below the men begins to move.

 

Then they are pulled down by the earth.

 

“Close” said Hirameki.

 

Then the earth stops moving.

 

“They have been killed” said Hirameki.

 

“Temari, detect how many people are inside” said Shozen.

 

Temari closes her eyes.

 

“Seven, two of them have a huge power” said Temari.

 

“How powerful?” asks Shozen.

 

“One of them could be close to Rank 5. The other... is abnormal. The power I detect from him would come from a man ranked number 1” said Temari disturbed by this.

 

“Number one? Are you sure?” said Roshika surprised.

 

“It's so high” said Temari.

 

“Then let's be careful. It could be a mistake or.. it could be real. Roshika, me and Hirameki will be the main attack. Temari you cover us from behind and use a force shield on us” said Shozen.

 

“Sure” said Temari.

 

Temari puts a force shield upon them three. They draw their swords ready to attack.

 

“NOW!” said Shozen as they went down the hill they were, towards the building.

 

Temari uses her physic power and blasts the door. Roshika, Hirameki and Shozen enter.

 

“WHAT!” said a man inside the building.

 

Four of the seven men are killed easily by the team. Three remain.

 

“Mind Destruction!” said Temari. One of them suddenly begins to yell. Then he falls to the floor, dead.

 

But something was strange. One of the men was looking towards the other side of the building, as if he didn't want his face to be looked.

 

“Kaworu, take them out” said that man with a deep voice as he walked towards the wall, where there was another door.

 

“Mind Destruction!” yelled Temari as she attacked the man who was about to leave. She begins to struggle. Suddenly she falls to her knees.

 

“I cannot enter his mind!” said Temari.

 

“Is that the strong man you spoke about Temari?” asked Shozen. “He is” she replied.

 

“But he cannot be ranked number one. Possibly two. There were only two men living who are ranked number one. One of them was supposed to be killed. He cannot be that man” said Roshika.

 

The man slowly walked towards the door, but suddenly he turned to the left, still not allowing anyone to see his face and grabbed a suitcase.

 

“We must stop him!” said Hirameki.

 

“Please stand aside” said Kaworu as he looked at the Special Team.

 

“Who are you to command us” said Roshika.

 

“The one that will bring you Death if you don't obey” said Kaworu.

 

“Big words” said Roshika with a smile.

 

Roshika extends his arm and a ball begins to form.

 

“MANSEKYU!” yelled Roshika. The Mansekyu is shot from his hand.

 

“MIA-KEMI!” said Kaworu as he opened his mouth widely. From his mouth he shots a gray ball. It clashes with the Mansekyu and makes a huge cloud of smoke.

 

“This smoke... it smells like.. GAS!” yelled Shozen.

 

“Grand Fire Ball!” yelled Kaworu.

 

The fireball interacts with the smoke instantly setting the whole place in flames. Shozen, Temari and Roshika escape. They had been protected by Temari's force shield. The Force field suddenly disappears.

 

“I cannot hold it for too much. I used too much energy to sustain the blast” said Temari as she breathed harder.

 

“It should have exploded when it hit my Mansekyu!” said Roshika.

 

“No.. the gray ball was a holder for the gas. After the shell exploded with the Mansekyu it freed the gas” said Shozen.

 

“Where is Hirameki! I cannot detect him!” said Temari.

 

Roshika tries to contact Hirameki through radio, but it does not work.

 

“We will split in three! Look for Hirameki! If you find resistance contact through Radio. We will arrive immediately!” said Shozen as they split up.

 

In the depths of the forest the man walks along the shadows the moonlight creates.

 

A huge crashing sound echoes through the forest.

 

“That came from the left!” said Shozen as he ran towards there.

 

Shozen appears at the scene. Hirameki had been stabbed in the stomach by the man.

 

“HIRAMEKI!” yelled Shozen. He took up his radio and contacted the others.

 

“Right away!” said Roshika as he headed towards Shozen. “Coming!” said Temari as she headed there as well.

 

“Let him go!” yelled Shozen as he drew a sword out from it's sheath.

 

The man pulls the sword out of Hirameki's body. A burst of blood falls towards the ground.

 

The man extends his arm. Suddenly Shozen is unable to move.

 

“Nah, nah, nah” said the man.

 

“What the...” thought Shozen.

 

The man raises his sword and slices Hirameki's left arm.

 

“NOOOOO!!!” yelled Hirameki as he fell to the ground.

 

“HIRAMEKI!” yelled Shozen.

 

Hirameki's numb body falls to the ground.

 

“Flesh Eaters” said the man.

 

From the very shadows three dogs with red eyes appeared. These dogs were quite big and were totally black. They immediately go towards Hirameki's body and start eating him.

 

“NOOOO! SHOZEN HELP ME PLEASE! HELP ME!!” yelled Hirameki as the dogs ate him.

 

“NO! HIRAMEKI! NOOO!!” yelled Shozen.

 

“PLEASE! PLEASE! HELP ME!!!!” yelled Hirameki.

“Please... help...” said faintly one last time Hirameki as he closed his eyes.

 

The man grabbed Hirameki by his head, and suddenly disappeared in the shadows. Shozen falls to his knees and in that moment Roshika and Temari appear.

 

“He... was killed...” said Shozen.

“Thus you are dead!” said Shozen back in the hangar.

 

A laugh is suddenly heard.

 

“You just missed half the story!” said Unyon. Shozen's breathing meanwhile got faster.

 

“You missed one small thing!” said Unyon.

“STOP!” said Hirameki as he followed the man. The man stops and turns around and looks at Hirameki.

 

“Who are you!” said Hirameki.

 

“You are in no position to demand anything” said the man, while his face got covered by shadows.

 

“Then die!” yelled Hirameki.

 

“Earth Blast!” yelled Hirameki. The earth behind the man begins to raise. The earth starts spinning like a drill.

“Die!” said Hirameki as the blast of earth fell towards the man. A huge crashing sound echoes through the forest.

 

Hirameki stared at the earth. Then a voice is heard from behind.

 

“Pitiful attacks like that will not help you. You are weak, but have potential” said the man. Hirameki turns and looks behind him. That man is standing there like nothing happened.

 

“Who are you” said Hirameki as he got nervous.

 

Then the man draws a sword.

 

“The one who will make you a powerful person” said the man as the shadows finally moved aside and revealed just a glimpse of his mouth, a mouth which was smiling.

 

The man runs towards Hirameki at full speed and stabs his sword on him. It stabbed through the stomach.

 

“Do you want to be powerful?” asked the man to Hirameki, who had his mouth opened and blood falling from it.

 

In that very moment Shozen appears.

 

“Yes...” said Hirameki faintly.

 

“Then... do as I say” said the man as he let go another grin.

“That's how I became powerful Shozen! That's how I stopped being Hirameki Hiya and turned into Unyon of the Dabus! That's how Shozen! I was eaten, I lost my left arm and I suffered. But with the power I have learned, I reconstructed my body and made a new arm appear from darkness!” said Unyon.

 

“You are a pathetic excuse for a living being! I will make sure you do really die this time!” said Shozen.

 

“Come at me!” said Unyon.

 

Shozen walks towards the wall and extends his arm. He shoots a blast of air that opens the door to the other section of the hangar.
