Journey of Hope
Written by VegetandAru (lord of the underworld)
Everything is my own, Please be nice as far as criticism goes, however if you do have something about it that you don't like then don't flame, just tell me about it if you would.
This was written quite a few years ago now, but I just stumbled across it on my hard drive and I've began to patch it up, it's still not finished but I'm working on it.

Tomato's ears twitched and she whined softly,
"Not again Tomato, what have you heard now?" Trayant patted her gently on her tawny neck, "I don't know you're whinning about Tomato but I'm sure it's nothing, at least not anything strong enough that you couldn't beat it Toma-." Trayant stopped talking as he heard a murmur in between some of the mountains, he saw something large move on a ridge and pulled Tomato to a stop in midair. "Zak get off the mountain."
"What?" Zak looked up from where he had been climbing down the mountain face to look up at Trayant.
"Get off the mountains. Get off them NOW!" Trayant looked down at the worried face of his friend and then, without asking any questions, dropped down on to a small ridge and landed poised on his feet. Trayant urged Tomato to land on the little ridge and called to Zak to climb on to her.
"Zak you have to get on Tomato, there's something out here on the mountains, something big. We can't stay here we need to fly out." Trayant ran his dry tongue over his teeth, it was something he had always done ever since he had been little, it showed that he was worried. He watched as Zak obediently began to climb on to the griffin and his worry began to ebb away.
"Quickly Zak, you have to hur- ZAK WATCH OUT!"
