Juliet's Demise
A sad and broken hearted girl
Stands before her mirror
Hating the person staring back
With an undying nerve
As Juliet she saw herself
In love and quite happy
But now - all she knows is bitter pain
And a love unknown
Her Romeo a slanderer
Cruel and untrue
Messing around behind her back
Until she found him out
Unable to go on living
She creeps across the floor
Into the kitchen with silent stealth
To pull knife from drawer
Into tender heart it does plunge
To end unfathomed pain
Erasing away her broken life
Like chalk upon a board
Here Juliet lies - dead and cold
Her corpse upon the floor
While Romeo does live on still
Unchanged by her demise
