Fan Fiction ❯ Just Another Day ❯ One-Shot

Pulling myself up onto my elbows, I looked around. The beautiful and majestic city that once was Hiroshima was flattened. Buildings smouldered amidst the destruction and bodies lie motionless among the debris.
Ignoring the splitting pain in my arm, I lift myself from the ground and stagger along, looking for a sign-a cause even-of life.
My beautiful garden was demolished. Roses and daisies lay scattered upon the ground; torn from the ground violently as the earth shook and raging winds blasted this calm piece of Earth.
I thought my life could get no worse until I saw the hundreds upon thousands of people lie dead and dying among the rubble. It was enough to make me vomit. And I did.
Watching the survivors, I slunk down to the grown and lay up against an old well. Closing my eyes, I saw my husband for one last time out fighting this war before drifting off into an eternal sleep
