Two shadowy figures of wolves stocked a small farmhouse. The wolves had something hanging from their mouths; the "some things" were squirming. The wolves walked up to the farmhouse and carefully lowered the squirming bundles to the doorstep. After a popping sound, a man and a woman stood in the place of the wolves. They knelt down, and the man whispered:
" Good luck my children."
" Brother, are you sure you wish to leave your daughters here with thesehumans?" the woman asked
" I must, they are half human. They will survive more easily here."
" But Alex, we are vampires, we could protect them."
" We could, but then who would protect them during the day? They are protected from sunlight. Besides I know these people will love them. Now come, Gayle. There is a war to be won," said Alex as he turned and with another popping sound, became a wolf again.also turned back into a wolf and followed Alex, neither knowing they would never see the babies again.

The elderly couple that owned the house was awakened by the screams of two babies.
" Tom, go look." said the elderly woman.
" All right, Mary." said the old man.walked to the front door with his double-barrel shotgun. Opening the door he discovered two babies on their doorstep. Tom put down his shotgun down and picked up the babies.
" Mary, come here." he called to his wife.
" What is it?" she asked
" Just come here."walked into the room.
" Oh my goodness, babies!" she exclaimed
" Aye, and there is a letter with them."
" Well, lets see what it says."handed the babies to Mary and opened the letter:


" That's all there is. Should we keep them?" asked Tom
" Yes." said Mary

For nine years Mary and Tom took care of Katonie and Ryu. One day Tom and Mary were killed when a battle broke out near there home. Because Ryu and Katonie were half vampire, they survived. They made a promise to Mary and Tom; they would find a way to stop the fighting.
For another eleven years the wars continued, until one day Ryu and Katonie stopped one of the bloodiest battles between vampires and human. They appeared at twilight and kept the two sides from fighting, they gave them the idea of forming a council to discuss ways to keep peace. One have the ways they came up with was: the humans would make a new food source for the vampires and the vampires would protect the humans.


Katonie and Ryu were considered heroes, but all they cared about was that they had kept their promise, it may have taken eleven years to do it, but they did it.
Now the lands are at peace and that's how it's going to stay, especially if Katonie and Ryu have a say in it.
