Hobbies: Listening to music, cursing people out, being the "lone wolf", just being dangerous in general, but he likes basketball ^_^

Characteristics: Cold and distant to everybody practically, has a severe temper if ever pissed off, calms down with music, and believes his true name to be sacred. Has a negative outlook on life and is very immune to pain, due to the beatings he endured from his abusive family over the years. Is emotionless and a loner, never liking the concept of friendship. Sees humanity as "weak" and "pathetic". *SPOILERS* After meeting a hyper little bishonen, Kamui's world is turned upside down, his attitude questioned, and emotions running HAYWIRE. Begins to hold TWO things dear to him, but is never straight forward with his true feelings. Deep down, he has realized he wants to PROTECT someone, but the emotion confuses him. He hates being treated as weak, steals to show people he can, and doesnt like foods that are yellow ^_^.

Background: Due to VERY abusive and angry parents, Kamui's childhood was very tense, molding the uncaring and somewhat emotionless boy that he is now. Also due to his dysfunctional family, many people were often frightened to be near the silver haired boy-he preferred this, though. His true name is Kawari. Ever since a certain dream, he has held his true name sacred, believing that someday he would meet and protect somebody that deserved to know it like a beautiful "angel" had foretold. Picked the name "Kamui" from a manga of one of his mother's earlier friends. Since the boy, Kamui, was viewed as "strong" by the public, Kawari decided he, too, would be "Kamui" and believed that by picking that name, everyone would never think or treat him weak. No one has ever cared for him whole-heartedly, and he became overly independent for someone of his age. He is somewhat "powerful" even if he doesnt realize it yet. Has complete faith in the messenger that came to him in a dream, yet is wary of the future for himself.

Kamui's Advice: Saro, baka. (Go away, idiot-*this is the HARSH/RUDE command form and the usage of slang*.)

Family: An "adopted" niichan named Akairo. His family is not known but believed to be dead, and his guardians took him in when he was 7 years old.

Educational Status: As of yet, none, but he loves proving intelligence. *SPOILERS* He plans on attending a junior high school later on.

Hobbies: Kiri LOVES playing around and causing mischief. His "special abilities" only add to the havoc and chaos that he brings. Loves sports and being around people in general.

Characteristics: Playful and mischievous only BEGINS to describe this bundle of energy. Is cheerful and hyper, preferring laughter over anger. He's almost INSANELY energetic, always moving and bouncing around. Revels in causing chaos and has no conscious when it comes to having fun. He can be sarcastic at times and runs amok when bored. He loves to scare the people of Tokyo cause...."Tanoshii da!" ^_^ Has the biggest grin in the world and ALWAYS gets what he wants.

Background: Not much is known about Kiri's background. It seems tragic that he doesnt have any memories from before he was taken in by his guardians. *SPOILERS* Found wandering the streets, Kiri was taken in by the Byonin no Meimusho, a group of dark psychologists and men who experiment with and research the powers of the human psyche. After learning about the boy's "talents", they became obsessed with him, first adopting Kiri then whisking him away to a large research facility, where they worked underground to secretly train him for events he was never aware of. After years of torment, physical as well as emotional pain, and extremely agonizing experiments, he ran away, covering up his agony with the mask of an innocent child. After weeks on the streets again, his "mask" became somewhat PERMANENT, cockiness and egotism slowly drowning him until he began to believe nothing could touch him.

He does not yet know the full extent of his "abilities". *SPOILERS* One thing Kiri HAS realized is that he can control his age. Only Kurushimi Hageshii knows of this, because he had noticed Kiri didnt look a day older than when he had found him years ago. Completely young at heart, he doesnt WANT to change and believes that he can get more out of people by looking young and "innocent." Not even he knows his TRUE age. Kiri is a good judge of character and has excellent adapting capabilities, which have also been proven a fault when it comes to emotions. Cannot handle grief well, hates the face of sadness, but loves candy! ^_^

Kiri's Motto: Warai ga ichiban ii kaba da. (Laughter is the best cover-up) *^^*

*Byonin no Keimusho

Nickname: "Damn cold bastards" Alot of "patients" call them that.

Background: Not much is known about this agency. *SPOILERS* They prefer not to work with the public, relying on being the "shadows" of humanity. Human laws do not apply to them or their work, and they believe in taking deadly precautions for achieving their goals. This group of dangerous men dissect the human mind for a living. After being assigned a "patient", they use every means necessary to gain positive results. Acknowledged by the government, they were given leeway without limits, basically meaning, once given a charge that was recognized as "valuable", they could perform any experiment necessary, no matter how harmed and brutalized the "patient" became.

The age of these men range from 18-50 and working at their facilities is a full-time job, leaving no time at all for personal lives and family. These men are detached from humanity and humane emotions, those being some of the needed requirements for the field.

Kurushimi Hageshii is the president, founder, and head director of the foundation. His main strength is strategy and his methods for preferring children is still somewhat in the dark. It is thought to be "effective" by most his cohorts. He is the "puppeteer" of the operation, known for pulling tight strings to get what he is after. He is very intelligent and calculative but purely sadistic, often the "man with all the ideas" and entirely inconsiderate for the souls around him. He wants nothing more than to control both Kiri and his powers. That has become his full-time goal....his OBSESSION.

The group, itself, is divided into different sections and departments, holding their own skills accountable for.

Sento Tan'i: This is the division of physical strength. They believe utmost in brutality and are skilled in the methods of take-down. They have no weapons, relying on instinct and skill to complete their orders. Their duty is to maintain order and "bring back" the escapees.

Surudoi Tan'i: This division is the BRAIN of the operation. They are second in command next to Hageshii, and when he in unavailable, they are the next to advise. Their ideas are never civil; humanity not in their vocabulary.

Joho Tan'i: This division makes up the psychologists and psyche experts. They are constantly studying the human mind and discovering new information not available to the public yet (if ever). After many experiments, they hover to gain results. Basically, they only gather information for the projects.

Hikiokosu Tan'i: The division of scientists. They use cause and effect to understand the limitations of humanity. They mostly work with chemicals, poisons, and serums, though, leaving the human mind up to the psychologists. Hageshii has them experimenting full-time, hardly ever resting. Blood tests, cell structure formatting, and physical pain tolerance are the BEGINNING of their expertise. They are rather bloodthirsty when achieving results.

Hanzaisha Tan'i: This is the artillery division. The group is made up of ex-convicts "rehabilitated" ONLY to be placed in servitude for Hageshii's every need. They are the "man-power" of the Byonin no Keimusho, not believing in mere brute force, but the creativity of the human mind and the effectiveness of human nature-they love to use weapons when assigned a target.

Jikken Tan'i: These men are the doctors of the fields. They are the ones that hold all the experiments, conversing with the other groups ahead of time. The Joho Tan'i informs them, the Hikiokosu Tan'i equips them, and then the Jikken Tan'i merely carries out the orders appointed ahead of time by Hageshii. They also serve as the "clean-up" crew. When a patient is hurt or wounded, the Jikken Tan'i are required to heal and aid them until positive results can be accumulated once again.

Shiyoho Tan'i: This division is merely the "back-up." They are only used for the side-jobs and any other positions needing to be filled. They manage money and equipment, acting like record keepers, "handy-men", and regular basic workers. Since their usefulness is not always needed or required, they actually converse with the patients, offering little comfort.

All seven divisions are made up of a count of 30 men, the Sento Tan'i are skilled in the newest methods of combat, and the Hikiokosu Tan'i are given the latest in technologically advanced weapons. All groups are highly dangerous, some men of each even bordering on insane. However, all are under direct orders from Kurushimi Hageshii, and their objectives are stated quite clearly.

*Kishitsu Akairo

Nickname: "Aka-niichan" by Kiri

Birthday: June 12

Age: 19

Height: 5'8

Family: None, but there are mentions of an older brother

Educational Status: 3rd year of high school DROP-OUT.

Hobbies: Loves riding his motorcycle, going to nightclubs to drink and listen to techno, and trying to tease Kiri. He's slowly being sucked into RAVING even though he wont admit to it. He also likes watching basketball because he used to play.

Characteristics: Watch out, he's got QUITE a temper. Deep down we all know this guy cares, especially when it comes to Kiri, but another side of him consists of mostly grouchiness and anger. He hardly ever listens to anybody, preferring to live his own life how he sees fit. The only person that could ever make him laugh was Kiri, and for that, Akairo had vowed secretly to himself to watch over the purple-haired bishonen. He never likes to give out personal info, believing that is one of the keys to having somewhat control over somebody. He's fierce and sarcastic, a smirk plastered forever on his face. He can get rather worked up by almost anybody, and that usually leads to the occasional "bar-brawling" scene. HE HATES WOMEN. This is because of a VERY bad breakup in his past. No other love interest is in sight for this guy. He is always seen wearing SOMETHING red because its his favorite color and he giggles when it comes to his "baby", his motorcycle. He is constantly bending the truth, taking out his anger on innocent bystanders, and in general, venting his frustration on inanimate objects, but.............. ^_^ he has a weak spot for red food.

Background: Not much is known about Akairo's life before he met Kiri, but it's implied somewhat that he was "found" by the Byonin no Keimusho after a very bad "accident" involving his brother and himself. He told Kiri that he dropped out of high school because the school colors werent red, and he just couldnt take being near a girl that had broken his heart.*SPOILERS* After dropping out of high school and getting into an "accident", Kurushimi Hageshii provided shelter for him and gave him a job in the Shiyoho Tan'i division when he learned that Akairo was "unusually intelligent". Not much else is known before meeting Kiri **SPOILERS** Akairo befriended Kiri when he saw the boy twirling his motorcycle in midair. As he became closer with Kiri, he also began to notice Kurushimi's unhealthy interest in the boy. This made him wary and he was almost CONSTANTLY at Kiri's side thereafter. When he followed Kiri during one of the boy's numerous "training sessions", he was horrified to see all the pain the kid had to endure. He also saw all the insanity within Kurushimi's eyes. He started to get FREAKED OUT soon after, but a small feeling of gratitude for Kurushimi taking him in stopped him from ever leaving. Plus, he wanted to protect Kiri. When Kiri escaped, Akairo pretended to be in the shower ^^;. Akairo has one unusual talent that no one but Kiri knows- he heals at an inhuman speed. Even being stabbed more than once, he'd be fine in the next hour or two. This ability is one of the reasons why he's like he is. Cockiness is a BAD thing.

Akairo's Obsessions: "Aka-chan" [Akairo no otobai] to ichigo. ("Aka-chan" [Akairo's motorcycle] and strawberries.) ^_^

*Shushuka

Nickname: "Shushu" by Akairo and Kiri.

Birthday: February 7th

Educational Status: Never made it to high school. Grade 8 drop-out.

Hobbies: "Hunting", "collecting", and watching "Corpse Cable" on Japanese TV ~.~

Characteristics: PURELY CHAOTIC. He actually SMILES when hunting down escapees or when he sees a knife he doesnt have yet. He enjoys the job Kurushimi has set for him and wont let ANYTHING stop him from "collecting" his targets. He doesnt take to failure all too nicely. He especially loves tracking down "pretty things" whether they be blades or people. He is slighly wary of Kurushimi, indifferent towards Akairo, and fascinated/curious about Kiri. Within his own mind, Kiri is HIS target, and whenever Kiri runs away, Shushuka is almost HAPPY, because it means he can "hunt down" the small boy again. Like Akairo, he has realized Kurushimi's "obsession" with Kiri and doesnt like it at all. He is wary about going against Kurushimi, though, because he doesnt know the extent of the man's power. Throughout everything else, he is cold and unemotional.

Background: Proving his utter insanity is Shushuka's history. His obsession with blades began at the age of 5 and he possessed unnatural skill when it came to swordsmanship. His parents did not die-Shushuka murdered them. He was eight years old. His reason: They took away his knife-collection ^_^. After, he was placed in a child's hospital ward without windows or light. Because of this, his senses were greatly heightened. After escaping from the ward, he lived on the streets for about a month before being taken in by Kurushimi Hageshii. Kurushimi was impressed so much by him that he appointed Shushuka his most valued fighter, and most of the times, sent him ahead of the rest of the Sento Tan'i division, which he belonged to in a way, if the target was only to be found or "collected". *SPOILERS* One talent Kiri learns later on is that Shushuka can jump REALLY high O.O Shushuka loves NO ONE and believes the notion of love only makes people weak Every emotion is foreign to him except EXCITEMENT for he atleast realizes he feels this when he "collects." He has complete faith in "Shinigami" and has named each of his blades. Only one type of inanimate object can set him off: Marshmellows-Kiri loves them and Shushuka's blades wont slice into them. That seriously pisses him off. O.o

Shushu's Collection Count: Hen na mono no TAKUSAN. (ALOT of weird stuff) -.-;
