Hey everyone! This is my first fanfic!! I promise you it'll toy with your mind while Link loses his heart! Don't come to conclusions so quickly. Please enjoy!

Legend has it that there was once a young boy named Link who saved the world more than once after being named the Hero of Time. Take for instance when Gandadorf took over Hyrule thirsting for more than the Triforce of Power could give him. Link, a mere child awoke from a recurring nightmare by a fairy called Navi only to learn it was up to him to travel back and forth through time to awaken the seven sages, save Princess Zelda and defeat Ganon. Leaving behind his innocent youth, he couldn't help but wonder if things would ever be the same again.

Another time was when the Skull Kid stole Majora's Mask from the Happy Mask Salesman, stole Link's horse Epona and his ocarina. Of course Link chased after him only to be turned into a Deku scrub. After losing sight of the Skull Kind, Link stumbled into a friendly city call Clocktown only to realize he had a measly 72 hours to save the world before the evil moon crashed into it and destroyed everything. His only source of entertainment was a sassy fairy named Tali who helped him teleport to the moon, steal back the mask and save the world again.

Tali had been thrown into his life after being left behind, but she stayed by his side ever since even 12 years after they had left Termina. What started as a tricky friendship had blossomed into a beautiful relationship. They had been mocked for even thinking such a silly thing. LOVE!? Both felt it deep for one another, but being from different races they knew it could never be. Knowing this they couldn't help but wonder if only there was a way to prove everyone and even their own doubts wrong. Link also kept in touch with Princess Zelda since she was the one who gave him the Ocarina of Time, and he always seemed to brighten her day. Zelda anticipated time spent alone with Link, listening to his adventures and continuously asking him to leave Tali out of his stories. Being past original marriage age, Zelda had now been betrothed to a prince of a foreign land to increase their trading bond. No matter how much she had begged and pleaded to hold off her engagement in the past, she now knew it was time and that there was no place for her in the heart of the Hero of Time. She couldn't keep denying the inevitable. Time passed by and the love of Link and Tali grew stronger and so begins the story of what's to be.
