Fan Fiction ❯ Legolas ❯ The Waterfall ( Chapter 3 )
Legolas
The next day Andraya awoke to the sun shining The in through her window, and the birds chirping in her ear. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and sat up, stretching her arms luxuriously. She remembered the conversation between Legolas and Elrond and jumped out of bed.
She took her time getting dressed that morning, picking her best dress; a cerulean blue sleeveless dress with a white belt. She didn't wear any stockings underneath, because they got on her nerves. She put her waste-length hair up in a high ponytail. >A/N: I don't know if they wore ponytails back then, but it's my story!<
She walked out of her room and ran straight into Arwen. She smiled at her aunt, clothed in traditional white. 'I wonder why she's so dressed up?' Arwen thought.
"Sorry," Andraya said, giggling slightly, "Uh… Have you seen… uh…" she laughed nervously.
"Legolas is out by the waterfall," Arwen said, smiling knowingly.
Andraya blushed, said thank you, and ran towards the waterfall. As soon as she saw Legolas she slowed her pace. However, he, being an elf, heard her coming a mile away. He turned and smiled. 'She really is lovely!'' he thought.
"So… um, Arwen told me you were here. I just wanted to talk… and stuff," she said quietly. 'I sound like an absolute idiot!' she thought.
"I wanted to talk to you, also," Legolas said, smiling kindly, "Come here, and sit by the spring. You needn't be so uncomfortable," He laughed when she gave him a surprised look. "You were fidgeting and twirling your hair. Most girls do that when they are nervous. Now come and sit here, please. It is difficult to speak to someone who is standing so far away."
She came forward and sat next to him. "You said you had something you wanted to talk with me about?"
"Yes. Your grandfather, Lord Elrond, has invited me to stay for a few more months, and I have accepted. I thought it would give us more time to talk," Legolas said.
'Why is he lying? Oh well. I'll just play along,' she thought. She smiled and said, "That's great! These next few months are going to be the best." She turned and looked at the waterfall, listening to the soft, soothing sound of the water. "That sounds so lovely. It's really relaxing."
She laid back on the soft ground, reveling in the serenity of her surroundings. She opened her eyes and gazed up at the clouds, not noticing Legolas get up from beside her. She watched as the wind pushed the clouds to the east, trying to find shapes. She heard a splash and sat up, alarmed.
She looked around for Legolas. His head emerged from the water. She blinked a few times, then turned her head away, trying to hide her blush. He was swimming, and he was stark naked!
"Come in, the water's quite refreshing!" he yelled.
"No thank you! Y-you go ahead! I'll just stay here!" she yelled back. Then said under her breath, "And where I can keep my clothing on."
He laughed at her modesty. (Remember he's an elf. Super strong hearing!) "I take it you are a maiden, if you have never seen a man's body before," he said.
"Of course I'm a maiden! How dare you think otherwise?" she exclaimed, horrified.
He chuckled. "I never doubted it. I was only stating that it was obvious now."
"Humph. Well, I am still not swimming," she said stubbornly.
"Oh, well if you're afraid…" he taunted, "I suppose you are only a girl, and I won't make you swim if you can't… I mean 'don't want to'." There was reason to his taunting. An elf holds their pride above just about everything else.
"Afraid? You think I'm afraid to swim?" she said, "Well, I will swim then."
Legolas grinned. She stood up and was about to undress when she noticed Legolas was still looking at her. She told him to turn, and he sighed, turning his back to her. She undressed quickly and jumped into the warm water.
She swam to the farthest end of the lake and stayed there. Legolas silently laughed at her absurdity. She just stared at him, waiting for him to do something. He submerged himself in the water and swam to about a foot in front of her. He then popped up out of the water, causing her squeal.
"What are you doing?" she panted, still out of breath from her previous scare.
"I wanted to get close enough to talk to you. After all, is that not why you came out here?" he smiled at her frustrated expression.
"Well, yes but… oh shut up," she said, lowering herself in the water.
He laughed at her. She gave him a challenging glare and dove under water. She swam as fast as she could towards the waterfall, hiding behind it. She looked through the water and searched for Legolas. Not seeing him, she began to worry. Then it struck her. He was going to pop up somewhere right by her, and try to scare her again.
She relaxed until she heard water splashing on the other side of the waterfall. She looked around it to see Legolas standing there. She smiled and hid again. She waited for him to move towards her. She heard no sound and peeked around the waterfall, coming face to face with him.
He smiled deviously and lunged at her. She dodged him and he lunged again. She dodged. They were now on opposite sides of the waterfall. They continued this game of ring around the rosy until Legolas finally found a way to catch her. While they were on opposite sides he jumped through the water and grabbed her hand as she tried to elude him.
He pulled her towards him. She looked up into his eyes. It was then that she noticed how much taller than her he was. At least a head. His expression turned suddenly serious. He leaned towards her face. She could feel the heat of his breath on her face before his lips came in contact with hers. She gasped at the immense pleasure that came from that simple contact. He licked her lips, asking for entrance. She parted them obediently. She moaned against his mouth as his tongue explored her mouth, running it along her teeth and the roof of her mouth. She soon found her own tongue returning the actions.
He broke the kiss and she sighed at the loss. They both were panting from lack of oxygen. He smiled slightly at her demureness. She looked down and noticed her revealed breasts. She sank down into the water.
She smiled up at him. "That-that was my-my first kiss," she said meekly.
He flashed her another one of his blindingly white smiles. He leaned down and kissed her once again. This time it was more passionate and fiery, less exploratory. She was into it more too. She closed her eyes and let herself drown in the sensations.
They broke apart and Legolas whispered, "Well, then that was your second kiss."
She smiled at him. Andraya suddenly felt as though she was being watched. She looked around and saw two people staring at them and grinning. Never guessing that a third person was watching also.
"Aragorn!! Gimli!" she yelled sinking all the way dawn in the water.
Legolas turned to them. He smiled. "I see you don't waste any time in becoming the nosy uncle, Aragorn. Gimli, however, I have no idea why you are here."
"For your information, we were on walk," Aragorn said, "We just happened to come upon you two."
"And a good thing we did, eh Aragorn?" Gimli said, making them all laugh. Except Andraya. She stared at them with a look of horror on her face.
"Will you please leave now, so that I may get dressed?" she said.
"Uh, right," Aragorn said, "Come on Gimli."
They left the clearing, still smiling. Legolas got out of the water and Andraya turned her face away. However, she became curious and looked out of the corner of her eyes.
She saw that he was even more gorgeous when not clothed. With a slim, yet powerful physique, a small amount of crisp, blonde hair covering his chest and other areas (^_~), and, she observed, he was very well endowed.
She noticed he was looking at her and averted her eyes. He smiled. She got out only after he turned his back to her, and dressed. She flopped onto the grass and stared at the water. He wlked and sat beside her.
"So," he said into her ear, "Did you like what you saw?"
She turned to him and tackled him to the ground. They romped in the underbrush, pinning and kissing and laughing. They rolled down a hill, clinging to each other, after a fatal lunge made by Legolas, and landed sprawled together directly outside of the House of Rivendell. Legolas had pinned her to the ground and was straddling her hips and at the same time smothering her with kisses and running his hands up the length of her arms. They only broke away, panting, when they heard footsteps stops near them. (I guess the elf hearing doesn't work when their full attention is on something so enjoyable. ^_^)
They looked up into the faces of their unexpected guests to find that they were also very angry guests. Elrond, Halomir, Orland, and several of Andraya's escorts, were hovering over them. Arwen and Amelia were in the background smiling knowingly and glancing at each other.
"Andraya! Get up out of the dirt! This is no way for a lady of the House of Elrond to behave!" Elrond grabbed her arm harshly and pulled her up. He pushed her toward Orland almost violently, and turned to Legolas. "I made the deal thinking that you would care at least a little bit about her reputation, but apparently you do not. The deal is terminated." Elrond said to Legolas through his mind.
Legolas cursed his bad luck under his breath. He looked at Halomir's face. He had a look of pure superiority, like he had just conquered a great land. He met Legolas' eyes as though saying 'Revenge is sweet, but payback can be hell!' He glared back at him.
"Andraya, I forbid you to see Legolas ever again. It seems I misjudged him. You will marry Halomir, as I said. No arguments," Elrond said. He and Orland led Andraya back to the house with Halomir in tow.
Legolas struck the ground with his fist. "I blew it. If only I had a little self control," Legolas said.
"If you really want to see her again, we could arrange it," Arwen said , making Legolas start. He hadn't thought that anyone was still there.
He looked hopefully into their (Arwen and Amelia's) kind faces. "Can you? How?" he asked.
"I will send Andraya out here tonight to pick me a basket of herbs. You will be here also, as soon as the sun sets and the moon rises," Amelia said. Legolas nodded and thanked her with his usual smile, and they said their farewells, heading back to their rooms.
Legolas saw Andraya coming towards him and straightened his back. She stopped at first when she saw him, blinking as though he was a mirage. When she was certain he wasn't going to disappear, she ran into his open and waiting arms. He held her close inhaling her heavenly scent. A voice at him screamed, "What are you doing? You can't fall in love with her! Elrond would kill you, as would your father!" but he brushed the little voice aside. It was too late for scoldings. He had fallen in love with her the moment he laid eyes on her. They let go of each other and Andraya gave him a questioning look.
"What are you doing out here?" Andraya asked. He smiled mischievously and her eyes widened. "Did my mother and aunt set us up?"
"Well, I helped," he said kissing her to silence her protests.
They spent that night talking about past relationships, Aragorn and anything else they had in common or didn't, kissing, swimming, and kissing. They parted ways with one final kiss before midnight to sleep, and agreed to go back there every night until Legolas had to leave. So they retired to sleep and dream of what might have come to be, had Elrond stuck to the deal.
A/N: So? What did you think? Not that lemony but don't worry, it's coming! All right… the usual pleading of reviews… blah blah blah… yadda yadda yadda… thanks bye!
