Summary-Erica Hall is a young, mom struggling to make her way through college while raising her daughter, Emma-Lynn. Things seem stable in her life until she gets pregnant and her boyfriend leaves her to raise her kids on her own, who knew when she moved and began her new life, Caden Bennett, attorney at law would be her neighbor. What happens when these two become neighbors and friends, will spark fly? Or will a friendship be enough for the two? Please R&R!

Prologue- How It Began

“Positive…” 21 year old Erica Hall thought to herself as she stared down at the dipstick in her hand. “Another pregnancy…Mitchell is going to kill me…” Tears threatened the petite girls' eyes. She looked into the mirror, her hazel eyes staring back at her, blonde wisps of her hair plastered to her cheeks as the tears came down full force. She sank to the floor, leaning against the sink cabinet.

“What am I going to do…?” She sobbed, head in her hands until she heard him.

“Erica…!” She gasped, stood to her feet, tried to gain composure and headed down the stairs but not before slipping the little stick in the drawer.

“Well…it's now…or never…” She said to herself and made her way downstairs.
