Suze blinked away the tears as she approached Broomwood Collage. The last day of school had been bad enough. But the last day of collage? She sat through the morning, not listening or indeed understanding anything to do with lessons.

But something she saw that afternoon distracted her so much that she could not think of anything else.

"Oh my god!!!! You will not believe what I just saw!" Lunchtime, in their opinion, was just another opportunity for gossip. And this kind of gossip was the kind of gossip that was very rare and very valuable!

"Oh my god, you saw him too?" Asked Cecilia, dropping her Drama study and turning to Suze. "'Bet you wish you're not leaving now, don't ya Suze?"

Suze nudged her and stared dreamily into space. He was so FIT!!! "Do you think I should ask him out? Oh, but being so fit and all he could have a girlfriend. Do ya think? Grrr! Why is life so complicated?" She let her head flop onto Cecilia's shoulder, who promptly nudged her off.

"Do something cool!" Hissed Cecila.

"Why?"

"Just shut up and do it! He's looking right at you, that's why!" Cecilia grinned, turned around and waved right at him.

Suze went red and swore. She looked behind her and saw him pick up his tray.

"Shoot! He's coming over, he's coming over!"

"Don't take the piss! I know he's coming over, just act cool."

The boy picked up his tray and walked right passed, not looking at either of the girls. Cecilia, who seemed to have lost interest, had gone back to her study.

Suze was very confused. Ah well. She hadn't stood a chance anyway. Not with her leaving in a few hours.

"If he had come over then we'd be going out by now." Boasted Suze, picking up her tray and walking out."

"Whatever" Cecilia muttered.
