~Pussy Cat~

Deep within Gerudo valley inside the fortress Link lay on a guest bed. They had taken him as a skilled thief, had they discovered he meant to kill Ganon he would be dead. Yet they had not which added to his fortunate luck.

As he stared at the stone ceiling his thoughts drifted to his quest. The sages of light, fire, water, forest, and shadow having been saved and resurrected. He thought of only one single person. Sheik. The mysterious boy who had helped him since the day he had emerged from his sleep in the realm of the sages. The boy with the hidden face, the red eyes and blond hair, and the blue spandex. Link imagined the slender, muscled boy as he had since the day they had first met. The thought of how he felt against his body was erotic, and arousing. Sadly the mysterious Sheikah had always disappeared before words could leave his mouth.

Link had never gotten close to him, had never learned of his being, but yet he felt a bond there, and somehow he knew how he had woken up in a bed so many times before, his wounds from battle healed, then as if by magic he was out on the battlefield again.

Sheik…why do you leave me to wonder, what are you hiding behind your mask…

He remembered one occasion when Sheik had stuck around, but only for a moment did he have a chance to hold him…

In the icy cavern, it had been cold. Link's teeth had chattered and his tunic and tights didn't add much warmth. Even with the long armed shirt he had worn underneath, he couldn't seem to block out the cold. Collecting stones, putting them in the bag. The final one found the icy gates lifted and the passage was reveled. Walking down the icy path, avoiding icicles when possible. The multiple cuts on his arms a result of their falling. As he entered another room, iron bars slammed against the door. And suddenly in the room was a white wolf.

The giant paws of the creature curled waiting to attack. Link fought with his sword, each strike being successful. The creature fell to the ground in a heap of blood. It was dead. Link kicked its body out of the way as a chest appeared. Only then did he notice how beautiful the room was. The Black ice was painted with magnificent stars, which seemed to move in the sparkling ice.

He drew the iron boots from the chest. Not noticing as someone appears behind him.

Sheik didn't want Link to notice him, not just yet. He had been admiring him from his backside. Sheik couldn't figure the reason why. Ever since the day they met, the first time he had taken one look at the Hylian, he had fallen in love. He was a handsome warrior, even more so than the sages had spoken. His long blond hair was hidden under the long hood he wore, the earrings in each ear; his muscles visible even under his thick tunic. Sheik couldn't hide his desire from the Hylian for much longer. He knew that, even if he did was disobeying the sages, he wanted Link to be more than a friend in need.

Link had tucked the boots away, ready to leave, until he heard his voice.

"Link, you now have the iron boots and the ability to walk under water." Sheik's voice had become shaky. Link noticed, but didn't say anything, only nodding. Sheik took out his harp. "This is the Serenade of Water, play it when you need return to lake Hylia." Sheik struck the harp. Link listened as the beautiful notes bounced against the walls as he began the same song on his ocarina. As the song ended the two boys stood there, looking at each other, neither one making a move.

Sheik's eyes searched Link's scarred body. Marks of crimson stained his tunic, which in itself was cut. Sheik watched as Link began bandaging his own wounds. For once Sheik didn't disappear; he stayed and watched Link. Slowly he began to walk over to Link who was having trouble bandaging the gash in his left arm. Sheik knelt down beside him.

"Here, let me…" Sheik looked at Link with his red eyes. Link stared at him, willingly handing the bandage to Sheik who lifted his left arm. Sheik skillfully wrapped the bandage around his wound, then tied it hard. Link stared at Sheik, he couldn't stop gazing at the handsome boy. Navi, who sensed something, wandered off and disappeared into the shadows.

"Thanks…Sheik…." Link finally spoke. Sheik merely nodded, then something else happened. Link noticed it and this time brought attention to it.

"Sheik…You're blushing!" Sheik quickly turned his slightly red face away.

"Ummm……I…GOD!" Sheik stood up and ran to the center of the room. As he raised his hand above his head, Link ran to him stopping his retreat, holding his arm still. Then with his free hand he lifted Sheik's scarf and kissed him. Sheik didn't protest, he only shut his eyes and melted into the kiss. Link's tongue moved inside his mouth, tasting him. Sheik lowered his arm, wrapping it around Link's body.

Link tossed them both to the icy ground. His desire to go further was overwhelming. Sheik felt Link's desperate hands roam his lithe body. Drifting under the shirts he wore, teasing his nipples. Sheik moaned. He didn't want to stop this, it felt so good. Sheik helped Link shed his clothes, the loud clang of Link's sword and shield were heard falling to the floor. Sheik was stripped of his own tunic and tights. Link's scarred body covered Sheik's pale skin. His mouth drifted from his lips to his chest, teasing the nipples.

Sheik felt the hot tongue tracing down his body. His erection throbbed becoming an unbearable ache as Link's mouth neared it. He knew then, he couldn't, he had to stop.

"Link, I can't…" Sheik lifted Link's face up. Link stared at him. Sheik stood up and dressed again. Link threw on his own tunic and tights. Sheik was ready to leave when Link stopped him again.

"Sheik…please don't go…" Sheik felt regret fill his heart for what he's done, but his desire was still just as evident as Link's was. Sheik's eyes filled up with tears.

"Link…I'm sorry…I can't do this, not yet…" Link turned his face from Sheik.

"It's my fault…I never should have…" Before another word was spoken Sheik kissed Link once more. As their lips parted, Sheik disappeared once again, his words echoing in the air.

"I'll come back, if ever you need me…my love…"

~*~

The encounters between the two had become less, but somehow, the bond became more. For every time Link neared Sheik his body felt like fire, like an endless wildfire that couldn't be put out. He wanted Sheik so bad it hurt. It hurt him worse that Sheik never shared his feelings, let alone his thoughts.

Sheik…please wait for me next time…

Link drifted off to sleep, his memories torturing him in the world of dreams. Navi hovered above him, smiling kindly. She knew the boy's feelings were troubled. She also knew what Link had been desiring since the day they were awakened, and Link had laid eyes on the handsome boy named Sheik.

The realm of the sages. The beautiful waterfall of light fell. The sounds of the water were soothing. The sages rested within the realm. Sheik couldn't rest at all.

Though not a sage he was called the "Servant of the Sages". He was to follow each rule of the realm. He was to help the heroes of time on their quests. Never before had he ever been restless. But he was.

It was the blond warrior. The handsome, intriguing, and sensual figure of the boy haunted his dreams. He no longer slept well. He no longer ate, he could barely stay awake. His life had become meaningless. He had lived years beyond even the Sages, and never had he ever had a need so great. He needed love. His life was lost without it, but now that he had found love, he knew that with it, came pain, torture and even death. The Hero of time…was forbidden to love… or to be loved. That was his crime; that was the reason for his endless nights without sleep. Sheik knew he couldn't hide it any longer…he had to see Link. He stood up from the circle of sages, heading for the entrance to the world of Hyrule.

Suddenly, Sheik stopped dead in his pursuit of the world. Footstep, faint but unmistakable. Sheik turned to their direction, and almost screamed at who he saw standing behind him, garbed in his clothes, with a whip in her hand. He remembered little else, for he was lashed into unconsciousness.

Something more had happened. Even Sheik did not notice it. The realm of the sages no longer shone in a white light…the light had begun to turn black, as the pure water, turned red…like blood. As Sheik was dragged from the realm unconscious, he could only remember the second time he had seen Link.

~*~

The fire cavern, the center of the Goron's hearts. The temple and volcano raged within deep red lava. Link had come, and he had been waiting. He remembered as they had stood looking at each other from a distance. He couldn't deny that the Hylian was handsome. He was broad and built to carry the sword and shield of Hyrule.

"So, you're here again…" Link had said, breaking the silence. Sheik had nodded. The scarf had hidden the red that took over his face. Not saying a word he took out his harp. That was Links signal to take out the ocarina he kept with him.

"This, is the Bolero of Fire, the song of eternal friendship, use it to come back to this temple…" The notes started to play. They started out slow, then became faster until their playing echoed within the volcano. When both had finished the song, they were both breathing heavily. Sheik gulped. With every heartbeat he was coming closer to breaking the one sacred rule of the Hero of Time.

He didn't want to believe it or admit it, but he was falling in love with the Hylian. If the sages knew, he would be banished from the realm forever. But he couldn't help it. This Hylian had vowed to save the land, having no doubts. He had given up an entire life just for this, knowing very well that he could die. Not only that but he was, and It was said before, extremely handsome.

Sheik had only stared at Link who stared back at him. Link opened his mouth as if to say something, but the words wouldn't form. Sheik ran to the center of the Royal symbol, raising his hand above head. He only paused a moment as Link ran towards him. A single tear had run down his cheek as he disappeared, seeing the Hylian fall to the ground crying out his name as he floated back to the realm.

When he had returned he avoided everyone, looking for some sort of consol to hide and comfort his racing feelings.

Three Gerudo guards stood outside on patrol. They stood alert and ready at the nightfall. One turned as a noise was heard outside the fortress walls. She turned as she heard a deadly crack of a whip, then she heard someone fall, footsteps were heard running. She motioned to her two companions to come.

They ran to the end of the gate where their sign hung, showing the reign of power. There lay a sleek blond haired boy. A whelp across his back, he lay unconscious. They immediately picked him up. It was only minutes later when his body was thrown into the dungeon cell.

Link wondered down the hallways, the dark foreboding corridors. They didn't bug him in the least. He was curious as to the commotion that had been happening since the night before. It may as well have stayed night, for clouds hung overhead almost as dark as the night sky.

He heard the sounds of footsteps down the hallway. Quickly he moved out of sight. He watched as two of the Gerudo guards walked into the open room where he had heard the lashing of whips in the night. He saw carried between the two guards the limp body of a boy. A young blond boy, with open red eye's and…

Sheik!

Links body and mind cried out as he recognized the limp form. Silently he followed the guards, hoping for once, not to be spotted. He watched as the two guards lifted him. He saw a long narrow stake, splintered by the lash of a whip. In horror Link knew what they were going to do, he should have figured, having taken him for a spy or bandit. He couldn't move, and barely breathed. His heart was pratically screaming at him to stop them, but his warrior half told him not to move. The warrior within won for the moment.

Link continued watching as Sheiks body was tied to the stake. The scarf still hid his face, but his hair was freed of the turban, it came out in rather jumbled spikes, Link wondered what it would feel like in his hands.

Concentrate at the situation at hand Link…His mind told him.

One guard stepped up to Sheik, the whip in her hand. Sheik only stared forlornly at the ground as she spoke.

"What were you doing, sneaking into our fortress last night?" The woman's voiced boomed in anger. Sheik didn't speak a word, only continued to stare at the ground. "ANSWER ME BOY!" Sheik screamed as the whip in her hand cracked violently against Sheik, ripping his clothing to reveal a mark left on his bare chest. Still he remained silent to words.

"Well then, strong and silent are you? What's your name then?" The guard readied her whip, prepared to lash again. Sheik only spoke few words, his voice straining.

"I…cannot…tell…." Another scream erupted from him as the whip lashed his pale body again. Sheik hung his head, something catching his eye as he did so. Looking up he saw someone, hiding outside the passageway, looking in… looking at him.

Link…

Another lash hit him.

Link was frozen, he wanted to stop the guards, but if he was found out... all hell would break out. He could only watch as Sheik was tortured by the words of the fierce guard and the whip. Yet how he remained silent and unspoken was beyond Link, knowing the pain must be unbearable. The Hylian watched as his hearts desire was whipped, as information was hopelessly hidden within, he didn't utter a word of how he had come there the night before.

The whoosh of the whip, the crack as it his flesh, the scream that followed. Link watched as it continued. He could have been there for days and not have known it, for when Sheik was finally taken down, he only followed to see where he was to be taken.

Dark, cold and lonely. Link had only been to the lower dungeons once and had vowed never to be again. Yet that's where he found himself, following the guards, whom dragged the once live and spirited body of Sheik. Link waited at the top of the stairs, hiding behind a simple totem of the Gerudo's. He watched and waited, barley breathing until he saw the guards disappear from the dungeon and outside to their usual posts.

Free from being seen, Link ran down the stairwell, slowing only as he reached the bottom. It was cold, damp and filthy, just as he had remembered. He looked into the cells as he walked, a lit torch in his hand. Many dead skeletons and rotting bodies lay within each cell. Yet he knew there would be life somewhere. He stopped, listening, he heard a faint groan. Turning to his side Link tried to see in the dim light, the source of the sound. He looked into the cell, and there he saw him.

Sheik's limp, lashed body lay on he ground, his clothes shredded. Sweat covered his face and drenched his hair. Link's heart ached, his body shook. He wasn't prepared for this. Silently he walked to the bars of Sheik's cell.

"Sheik…it's me…Link…" Link watched, searching for a movement in the solemn face. Sheik looked up to him. His tortured face managed a smile as he saw who it was.

"Link…what…are you doing…here?" Sheik spoke wearily. Link felt something flinch inside of him.

"I came to find you…I want to know what you're doing here." Link placed the torch into a nearby holder. Then he knelt down to look at Sheik. His face had the look of pain, as his body was covered in marks of the lashes he had been given.

"I…don't know, someone took me from the realm, and dragged me…I struggled, realizing it was a girl who held me captive. She had long blond hair…and dark eyes…she was dressed like me…she dragged me here, saying something about dealing with me…then she took the whip she carried, I was put unconscious…into the dungeon until they took me out this morning…I saw you watching…" Sheik looked at Link with blank eye's.

"I was…" Link hung his head, regretting not having saved Sheik. "I'm sorry…" Link reached out his hand through the iron bars, touching Sheik's face. The scarf fell to the ground. Only then did Link see the long scar on his left cheek. He stroked it gently with his fingertips. Sheik smiled and nudged Link's hand. He brought it to his lips and kissed Link's fingertips.

"You're forgiven." Sheik crawled closer to the dungeon bars. Trying to look at Links face in the shadows. For some reason it looked even more handsome than it did in the daylight. Sheik noticed Link's shaking hands, and body.

"Link…you're shaking…" Sheik took Link's hand in his, it wasn't cold. The touch was warm, but still, Link shook. Sheik kissed Link's palm, running his wet lips over it Link shut his eyes, letting himself melt into the touch.

Between the two, the dungeon door was heard slamming shut, leaving them to be the only ones there. Sheik looked at Link, whose eyes opened. Link couldn't stand it any longer, he reached for the key that hung over the door. Sheik stood up as Link turned the key in the rusted lock, opening the gate. Sheik rushed into Link's open arms, wrapping his own around the Hylian. Link placed his hands gently on the scarred face, turning Sheik to him.

"Do you love me…" It was a simple question, nothing more, but the answer would put the both of them in mortal danger. Sheik no longer cared. As Navi disappeared to become nothing more than a faint light. Sheik answered Link with the desire in his breath that Link too, had shown.

"I do…I do Link, and I always have…" With those words Link placed his lips to Sheik's. His tongue moved inside Sheik's willingly open mouth. Sheik fought back, pressing deeper into the kiss. Link was overcome by Sheik's desire. Link dropped his sword and shield to the floor with a clang. Using his incredible strength he pressed Sheik's smaller body against the cold brick wall. Sheik gasped inside Link's mouth at the sudden feel of it.

Links hand's roamed Sheiks body. They drifted beneath his shirts, moving over the pale planes of his chest. Sheik moaned. Link grabbed a nipple, teasing it as it became as hard as his throbbing shaft. Slowly, he drifted lower on the lithe body beneath his hands. They drifted beneath Sheik's tight spandex, pressing against Sheiks own hard on.

Sheik yelped inside of Link's mouth. He pressed his hips, driving deeper into the touch. Link smiled as he took his hands away, which was responded by a disappointed groan. Link broke the kiss staring into Sheiks half open eyes. Raising Sheiks arms above his head he stripped the pale boy of his shirts, throwing them to lay in a heap on the floor. Link turned them both and threw them onto the ground, not even noticing his own tunic fly through the air, meeting the same fate as Sheiks.

Link leaned over him. His breathing was hard, hot and raspy. Leaning over he drove them both into another searing kiss. His tongue tangling with Sheik's. He sucked at the offering inside his mouth. Sheik gasped. Link's hand's drifted lower, grabbing the waist of Sheiks pants. In one swift motion he pulled them down to the ground. Sheik kicked them off along with his cloth shoes. His own hands battled restlessly with Link's belt. Link laughed, taking Sheik's hands and helping undo his belt. Finally the frustrating object was undone. Sheik tossed it behind him, the next to go came Link's tights.

Link gasped as Sheik's hand touched his hardened shaft. He growled slightly, sounding like a hungry beast. Desperate for Sheik's body, he attacked Sheiks mouth, moving his tongue over lips as red as a rose, down Sheiks long sensual neck, he took his time, biting at the flesh. Sheik screamed, arching his back. Link quickly muffled the scream with his hand, lest the guards find them like this.

Sheik knew he could be killed, he knew he was putting Link in danger with every lustful kiss, with every pained breath. He no longer cared.

Link's mouth drifted over his chest, taking in a hardened nipple. Licking it, teasing it with his tongue, biting at the sensitive flesh. Sheik bucked his hips as the sweet torture continued as Link drifted to the other nub. He blew his heated breath on it, biting it harshly. Sheik bucked, biting his lip to stifle a scream. Link lifted one of Sheik's hands, bringing his lips to it he began to suck at Sheik's trembling fingers. Taking the middle one into his mouth. He sucked it fiercely, teasing it with his tongue. The gesture sent shock straight to his groin. Sheik moaned desperately. As he was stripped naked by the hungry Hylian, his hard shaft became an unbearable ache.

Link could no longer help it. He lifted Sheik's hips to his own. Sheik didn't protest the lustful offer. Taking Sheiks sweaty lips into a kiss he drove inside Sheik's body. Sheik cried softly, his lips pressed to Link's. Link entered him slowly, trying not to hurt him. As he slid all the way in he pulled away from Sheik's lips. Sheik looked up at him and smiled. Gripping Link's shoulders close to him. Link looked down at him.

"Please…now…"

Link needed no further encouragement, he began to slam into Sheik, hard and fast. Sheik met each hard thrust equally, their paces melding into each other. Sheik couldn't see, or think, Link was within him, making love to him. The last person he thought could ever feel so good did. He screamed as Link reached between their bodies and grabbed his swollen length, pumping it with his thrust. Sheik tossed his head as he came over Link's hand and stomach, feeling Link come within him.

Together they collapsed, their breath mingling together. The stayed that way, trying to regain their senses. Their bodies still joined, reluctant to pull apart.

P2

Minutes later, they managed to pull apart. Sheik pulled his clothes back on as did Link, neither spoke for what seemed like hours, until Link broke the silence…

"Sheik…" Link felt the presence of a question lingering overhead. His thoughts turned once again to that day. The meeting in the ice cavern. He had to know, why.

"Link…what is it?" Sheik looked at the Hylian, in a more than friendly way. Sheik couldn't help but remember the ice caverns, he knew what was bugging Link. Sheik had been desiring Link but the sages above forbade it. Even Link himself did not know he was forbidden to love anyone, ever. Had Link known, it would be hell to pay.

"That day…in the ice cavern…" Sheik looked at him near tears. "Why did you leave, Sheik?" Sheik looked at the ground. Could he tell Link?

Sheik pull yourself together…He thought to himself. He had to tell Link, or have Link find the answer for himself, and that would be worse.

I know the reason they were to become sages, not only did they have the medallions, they were the only chances Link ever had of falling in love...never in their lives would they have expected him to…

"Sheik?" Link snapped Sheik back to reality. "I have to know…" Link was desperate, why did Sheik leave without question. Leaving him in the cavern alone.

"Link, I was sworn to secrecy…But I have to tell you…otherwise it'll be worse to have you find out on your own…" Link stared at Sheik, what could be so bad that he be sworn to secrecy.

Sworn by whom?

"I was sworn by the sages that I would not tell this…the sages as you know have been old friends…they have been old acquaintances. The reason that they were chosen, was that they not only held the medallions…" Sheik paused, tears rolled down his cheeks, wetting Links hand. "But they were said to be your only chances to fall in love…" Sheik sobbed. "It was not foreseen that you would fall in love with me…You are not allowed to love…and I am not allowed to love you…but I do…and I don't want them to take that way!"

The words struck Link like a thousand knives. The great sage, how could he do this to him? How? Links face flashed, a strong hatred built up within. Sheik, the one person he had actually loved, had felt, had touched, had taken, he was forbidden to be with. He didn't care, he realized, about anyone else, he only cared about Sheik. Hyrule yes, but Sheik. Sheik was not land, he was not owned by millions of people. He was a person, a boy, just as Link was.

"Sheik…can you get us both out of here?" Sheik nodded.

"I think I can…I may have enough strength…" They were interrupted by Navi's twinkling. Link turned to her.

"What is it Navi?"

"Link I can lend him my magic, that should be enough to get us to the temple of time!" Navi tinkled. The two boys nodded in agreement. Sheik stood with the little help he could receive from Link, he raised his arm and teleported them all to the temple of time. Neither knew who they would meet there.

Inside the temple the voices of lost spirits sung the Song of Time. The sad melody rang off the walls of the temple. Inside the seal of the Triforce, Two boys and a fairy appeared. Sheik and Link stepped from the small pedestal, continuing into through the door that had been opened by Link seven years ago. Inside was dark. The light wasn't shining from the temple. Link felt suddenly darkness within the temple.

"Sheik…something's not right…" Link looked around in the darkness of the temple.

"Link…I think you're right…lets get out of here…" The two boys started to run, Navi flew overhead. All three were stopped. The door of time slammed shut. Laughter rang out behind them. Link turned around with Sheik still hanging to his shoulder.

"So, you two…I say, it was good, but you're not fooling the sages. Link looked at the long haired girl, she was garbed like Sheik, but Link recognized the voice. He couldn't believe who it was.

"ZELDA!" He yelled out surprised. The woman threw the scarf off, smiling wickedly.

"Yes, grown as yourself, and servant of the sages." Her voice was too sweet, it's tone was not like that of the princess he remembered. Sheik knew who it was too, he had never known the princess to be this way.

"Servant of the sages?!" Link glared at her. "Why have you done this to Sheik, what has he done to be thrown to those fierce guards like a slab of meat?!" He yelled. Zelda merely laughed.

"Why have I done this? Oh hasn't Sheik told you of the Sage's secret? I know he has. The law has been laid quite sternly. You are not allowed to love," Zelda's smirk grew to an evil grin. "And are you to fall in love with anyone, you and he are to be punished."

Link stared at Zelda in disgust. The kind hearted princess, what had happened to her?

Sheik looked at Zelda in fear as he clung tighter to Link. He to began to scream at the princess. "How can this be? I was the only servant of the sages! You can't be a servant! How could the sages do this to us?!" Zelda laughed again.

"Foolish boy, you have no idea of the sages power! You are a traitor to them, and so you have been cast out of the circle! And I, put in your place." Zelda looked at the pair. She laughed to herself. Suddenly a dark black circle formed around her body. Link shielded his eyes from the flash that followed. When it disappeared. Zelda shown in front of him and Sheik. Garbed in a crimson red dress. Her long blond hair blew freely behind her. Her dark reddish eyes showed the possession of evil within. In her hand she held a long, leather, whip. And by her side stood…..

"So Link, are you and your new lover ready to fight the sages and Ganon's awesome power! HAAHAaahaaa…."

Outside the temple, next to the moat with the broken bridge. Epona screamed as lightning struck the ground. The entire castle town was covered in a dark cloud, even more so than before. Epona raged, she knew her master was in trouble, she wanted in, she wanted to help her master. Franticly she kicked her legs up and down. Thrashing the air.

A light drifted down towards Epona. Noticing it Epona stopped to look at the odd light. Watching it take form. She backed away, but stopped as she heard the form speak.

Do not fear me Epona, I will not harm you…

You can talk…read my thoughts…Epona stared at the angel like figure in front of her.

I am the last of the sages, but I have not been corrupted by Ganon's power, he has thought Nabooru to be the sage of spirit, but she is only keeping me hidden. I am, however, not a true being, I must have a stronger spirit to hold me in form…

Are you asking me…to bear you in the form of a human? The spirit nodded. Epona looked at her questioningly. How can I trust you? The other sages turned out only to be traitors…

I only ask this simple task, nothing more…please, I want to help your master as much as you do…

I will…please, help him

Epona sensed a smile from the angelic figure. Epona closed her eyes and allowed the spirit take over her body. Seconds later Epona appeared as a tall woman. Her skin was dark red and her hair was Ebony black. She stood in clothing similar to the Gerudo's garb, at her side was a long sharp blade. She felt a surge of power take her, ready and eager she teleported into the temple.

"Zelda! How could you!?" He stared at Zelda in a rage beyond the depths of which he knew. Link drew his sword out. Prepared to attack, Sheik at his side, his right arm still wrapped around the boy.

"Easy, Ganondorf showed me the meaning of true power, and with that we together corrupted the Sages! Haahaa!" Zelda smiled as she drew her whip.

"Hero of time, you have no idea of the power we posses…you measly magic and sword cannot defeat us alone!" Ganondorf drew out his own sword. The aura around it was a black fire a dark fire of hatred and evil.

"Maybe he can't alone, but maybe with our help!" Red sparkles appeared and out of them stepped Epona. Who had a light surrounding her. Link stared at her, bewildered.

"Epona?!" The woman turned and grinned. Link smiled, knowing he was no longer alone in his fight.

Ganondorf smirked. He and Zelda stood ready to fight. Epona faced Zelda, Link faced Ganondorf. Sheik stood alone with Navi, they too stood ready to fight.

The battle began.

A crack of thunder

A brilliant flash of light…

Ganodorfs struck Link's sword with the strength of lightning. The two swords fought fiercely. The clashes were loud in the echoing temple. Ganon proved formidable as his sword managed to cut Link's tunic. Link, powered in fury and rage. His sword struck back at Ganon, it ripped his armor, the clang loud as the metal hit the floor.

A battle has begun

And only one will win the fight…

Epona struck Zelda, Navi flew around, hitting the princess of evil wherever she had a chance. Sheik stood, not sure who to help. The two girls raged on. A scream was heard echoing through the temple, minutes later, Epona fell to the floor, the spirit with her. Rushing over to the fallen body, Sheik lifted Epona up and out of the way, Link's faithful friend lay unconscious, her face scarred from the lashes and burns. Sheik glared at the princess.

"You…YOU'RE THE REASON FOR THIS!!" Even Zelda was not prepared for the blow that hit her out of anger.

Danger in the air

Destroying everything in sight…

Link lashed with all his might, his sword hit Ganondorf, but no matter how hard he struck, Ganon only seemed to grow stronger. The dark sword hit his hard. Link cried out as his arm ripped. Blood gushing from it. But that wasn't the reason for his guard to go down.

"AHHH!!!!" A scream erupted from a distant part of the temple.

The time has come to right the wrong

The Triforce power fight…

He's got the power!

"SHEIK!!! AHH!!" Ganon took the opportunity. Link had a slash across his chest. Ganon laughed triumphantly, but wasn't prepared for the next blow.

"BASTARD!!!" Link's sword cut through the air, striking Ganondorf in the heart. The tall dark man faltered, falling slowly to the ground with a crash of lightning.

Sheiks fallen body lay bleeding next to Zelda's.

"SHEIK NO!!" Link cried. The boy's body had grown cold. Link took the icy hand in his. Sheik's opened his eyes to Link.

"Link…you're alright…" He smiled weakly. Link threw his arms around the slim boy, crying. "I'm glad…" Sheik's grasp faded. The boy's eyes fell. He heard Sheik breath his last words into his ear. "I…Love you…"

A desperate struggle

The strongest takes it all…

"Sheik! You can't die on me! Link held the boy, crying. He didn't see the dark form rise up behind him.

"Heehee…heee…."Link froze as the dark laughter sounded. He turned to see Ganon rise.

"Gods damn you…" Link hid his face as he rose to his feet. Hearing the creature growing. His body green, all his features blood red. Enormous teeth protruding. The temple faded as he and the others laying dead stood in front of Ganon's castle. He held the sword of time in his hand.

The battle rages on until the weakest finally fall…

The creature laughed, striking link with it's massive claws. Link stood still as it did so. The creature laughed. Not noticing the aura that formed around Link's injured body.

A vision fills his heart

(Sheik…)

It gives him strength that pure and true…

(You killed Sheik…)

And when all else is lost…

"I know what I must do…THIS ONES FOR SHEIK!!!"

The last thing Ganon saw was the bloody, flash of Link, flying at him with the sword. Thunder raged as the creature screamed. Link fell to the ground, panting…not even witnessing his moment of triumph. As the entire land was enveloped in the light of the goddesses, the man who had done it all, witnessed none of the joyful cries throughout the land…

"Link…"

Link groaned, turning away.

"Link wake up…"

Link groaned again, still not opening his eyes.

"Link? Please wake up…"

The voice was choked with tears.

"Please…Link…" He felt arms around his body, only then noticing how they made him burn.

"Link… don't be dead…please…"

Link groaned…"She..ik…"

"LINK!!!" The embrace became stronger.

"SHEIK!!!" Link was fully awake now.

"I thought you were dead, you've been like this for days!"

"Sheik…Oh my god…your alive…"

"Yes…the sages brought me back. "Link! Were going to be married! They've given us the blessing! The land is saved! God Link say you will!" Link smiled and then grinned.

"I WILL!!"

The two boys kissed. And from that moment on, Hyrule spoke of a boy, a boy who after saving the land, disappeared with one named Sheik…into The land of Terminia married and on a new journey, to save themselves again…
