What is this feeling, this incredible emptiness within me? How did it come to be within my heart, my very soul?
These were some of the thoughts going through Seiya's mind. Since he'd lost Jun, these were the thoughts that came to mind and heart most of the time. How could he, anyone, hurt this deeply? It seemed impossible.
Yet...here he was, feeling this unfamiliar pain. It was worse than a gash to the face or a burn to the arm. Pain of the heart had no equal. At least not the pain Seiya was feeling. Jun had been his first love, his only love. And he'd lost him.
He tried to think back to that awful day, but he couldn't. It was just too painful. Tears swam in his violet eyes. God, it hurt. Even just to think back to that day. Even just to look back on better days.
But, that car. Damn the driver! It wasn't fair to Jun. It wasn't fair neither to Jun's family, nor to Seiya either. But, most of all it wasn't fair to Jun, to have his life snuffed out by a drunk driver. Some idiot that thought it was a good idea to drive after having a few drinks. Jun had only been sixteen, his life had barely begun. No one had the right to take it away. But, they had.
