Here is the break ya'll. Diana is the sister of Eowyn and she is widely known as the, "Light of Rohan"

At the Dining hall Legolas, Aragorn, Gimli and Gandalf were eating. Gandalf was talking to King Theoden while Legolas, Gimli, and Aragorn were talking about battle plans and statistics. Suddenly the door opened and Diana and Eowyn came in. Eowyn was wearing a long white gown with a pearl necklace; her hair was loose and floating around her like a veil blowing in the breeze. Diana was wearing a long green gown and a Diamond necklace; her hair was also loose and cascading down her back like a black, elegant, waterfall. Everyone was watching them in awe. The seemed to glide their way over to the fellowship and sit down in their chairs and converse with them. Diana out of the corner of her eye glanced at Legolas. He was laughing at something Gimli did. He enchanted her for she had never met an elf before, but heard of their grace and beauty. She did not know how to describe him.

He had light golden hair that flowed down his shoulders like gold silk that shined like the morning sun and his eyes the color of the sea, light and playful, yet full of wisdom. A shake of her shoulder broke her thoughts.

"Diana! Are you listening?" Eowyn asked.

Everyone was staring at her. " I'm sorry what did you ask?" Diana inquired.

"I asked you if you had checked on the guards, you never know when Saruman may plan his attack" Eowyn answered.

"Yes I have the area fully secured and the perimeter is safe." Diana replied.

King Theoden beamed with pride. "I should have known that you and your sister would take care of things," he said.

Diana and Eowyn smiled. "Of course we would uncle", Eowyn said.

"Uncle when can we have Eomer back? I miss him," Diana asked.

"I cannot find him Diana" King Theoden says.

Diana sighed and looked away.

Everyone was silent.

"Let us all go and rest for tomorrow is a long day ahead of us", King Theoden proposed.

Every one agreed and went to his/her rooms.

As Legolas was going to his room he heard footsteps. He whirled around to see a young woman with long strawberry blonde hair and green eyes.

"Hello Prince Legolas", she greeted him.

"Good evening Lady…." He said politely.

"Gweniveria", she finished for him.

"Lady Gweniveria, what a beautiful name. But how do you know me?" Legolas asked.

"I heard a lot about you and I have always been fascinated by elves." Gweniveria answered.

"I see", he said.

"I must go now my dear prince, but shall we meet again?" she inquired.

"Yes we shall", he said smiling.

Gweniveria bowed and left.

Legolas stood there for a long moment thinking about the day's events and decided he would discuss with Aragorn and Gandalf of the next days plans, then he went to bed.

He woke up the next morning to the sunlight streaming through the window. He yawned and got up and dressed in a green and brown tunic and he took his bow and arrows.

He went to Aragorn's room and knocked on the door. Aragorn opened the door and smiled.

"Good morning Legolas", he said.

"Good morning Aragorn", Legolas returned the greeting. "What are we doing today?" he continued.

"The king has invited us riding with him and his nieces, also with Lady Eowyn's cousin Lady Gweniveria" Aragorn answered.

"Excellent! I will go get Gimli' Legolas said.

"Very well, after you do head for the stable and join us" Aragorn said.

Legolas nodded as he set off for Gimli's room. Once he got there he knocked on the door. "Come in" Gimli said. Legolas opened the door and went in.

"Gimli, we are needed at the stables. The king has invited us to go ride for a while." Legolas explained.

Gimli groaned. "Do I have to ride behind you again?" he asked.

Legolas laughed. "No, come to the stables to receive a horse" he said.

Gimli sighed on relief and followed Legolas out the door to the stables. When they finally got there, Diana was assigning horses to everyone. "Eowyn you take Starlight," she said pointing to a palomino that had a star on its forehead. "And Aragorn you take Blaze," she continued pointing toward a thoroughbred with a brown coat and a black mane. He smiled and went to tack up Blaze.

Gimli walked over to her and asked, "Mistress Diana which one is my horse?"

"Um… let's see… it is Cobalt," she said pointing to a chestnut.

"Thank you" Gimli said.

"You are welcome," she said.

Legolas made his way over to her. She looked up in surprise.

"Oh, Legolas! You have Lightning," she said. He looked at Lightning it was a white horse, he seemed to glow with radiance and pride. He smiled and went to tack up.

Diana watched him and she suddenly realized something, "Oh no!" she said.

"What is wrong," Legolas asked as he came back with Lightning tacked up.

"I forgot to get Gweniveria a horse and there is no more left, I guess I will just have to give her my horse." Diana said.

"You don't have to, let her ride with me," Legolas suggested.

"Really? Thank you Legolas. Could you tell her for me?" she asked.

He nodded and she smiled gratefully and went to get her horse. Legolas mounted his horse.

Legolas saw Gweniveria waiting and he went over to her, "Sorry my lady, but Diana seems to have forgotten to get you a horse and I offered for you to ride with me, will that be a problem?" he asked.

"Of course not prince Legolas, I would be happy to," she said.

"Please just call me Legolas, hop on," he said.

She smiled and got behind Legolas. As they walked over to the doors, Legolas saw Diana had a black mare.

"Lady Diana may I ask what your mare's name is?" he asked.

"Her name is Nightshade" Diana replied.

He nodded. He moved over to Gimli.

"Do you need any help?" he asked.

"No thank you, I am fine" Gimli responded.

"If you are sure", Legolas said.

"All right every one, lets go" King Theoden said.

They went outside and into the woods.

Legolas talked with Gweniveria and found out she was 20 and love to ride horses.

"Uncle can we ride faster than this?" Eowyn asked King Theoden.

"I do not see why not", he answered.

"Canter!" Diana yelled as her horse broke from a walk, to a trot, than a canter.

Every one else followed her example. After a while everyone walked their horses to cool them down. " Let us stop over there to rest" Aragorn suggested as he pointed to a spot right next to the lake. Diana got off her horse and turned around to see Legolas helping Gweniveria off Lightning. She smiled until she saw Gweniveria land in Legolas's arms and giggle. Her smile faded totally when she saw Legolas laugh.

Diana crossed her arms and decided that she would have a talk with Gweniveria. When Legolas was done helping Gweniveria he looked up and saw Diana. Their eyes met for a moment then she looked away. Diana was going to talk with him when…~Tua Amin! ~ Diana was so stunned she fell over but was caught by Aragorn. "Lady Diana are you all right?" he asked as he helped her stand up. "I am fine Aragorn, thank you", Diana said. He nodded and left. Diana sighed and leaned back on Nightshade. "Are you all right my lady?" a voice asked. Diana looked up to see Legolas with a worried look on his face. "I am all right Prince Legolas" she assured him. "Call me Legolas, Lady Diana," he told her. "Then call me Diana" she retorted. He smiled and she did the same. Suddenly Gweniveria tugged at Legolas's arm. "Come on Legolas! They are serving the food." She said. "All right," he said. As he went to eat Gweniveria turned to Diana. "Look Diana, he is mine. Back off!" she whispered fiercely. Diana glared at her.

"So when you are tired of him you will leave him! You did the same thing to Eomer. I will NOT let it happen again, you thieving, sneaky, slithery, slimy, snake." Diana said before feeling the hand slap across her face. She was stunned as she touched her cheek. Everyone looked up in shock. Gweniveria had her hand clenched in a fist. Legolas looked from Diana to Gweniveria. Diana growled before lunging at Gweniveria. Gweniveria fought well but she was no match for Diana. Diana punched her in the stomach, punched her jaw, and then kicked her throat. Gweniveria held her throat and tears streamed down her face for she was in pain. Diana was about to slam her in a boulder when Legolas grabbed her and pulled her onto his chest. Gweniveria struggled to find her voice and when she did it came out croaky, "Legolas, why do you side with her? All I did was tell her the food was ready and she attacked me," she said. King Theoden stood between them and faced Diana. "Is this true?" he asked her. Before Diana could open her mouth Legolas answered for her. "No your highness it is not true, I overheard them." He said. "How can you hear us you were too far away?" Gweniveria asked.

Legolas looked at her and said, "We elves do not have pointed ears for nothing." Every one stifled a laugh. Gweniveria flushed in embarrassment because she had been caught. "Gweniveria, you will get on your horse and go back to Gondor. You will not be come back here for a visit again," King Theoden said sternly. "But I don't have a horse", Gweniveria whined. "Oh! Right… I FORGOT to assign you one. Hmm… I wonder why," Diana said sarcastically. Everyone burst out laughing. Gweniveria glared at Diana. "Diana I promise you some how, some way, I will get you," she said harshly as she disappeared.
