Chapter 1:

Beach!

 

It was now the summer, nobody had been attacking the city apart from petty criminals that the police could take care of. It was now the due time for the titans beach trip. All the titans were slowly starting to wake.

Since the incident with brother blood, Bumblebee had no home to go to and had been offered a place at the titan's tower by Robin. She had gladly accepted and had now been staying in the tower for a few months.

Raven opened her eyes and waited for them to focus. She sat up in her dark room and actually smiled to herself. Even though she wasn't the biggest fan of `group interaction' as Robin had called it, she did like the annual beach trip. It was almost… dare she say it?… enjoyable.

“HELL!” she said to her self “It is fun and I enjoy it!” She had a shower and changed into her leotard and cape. She walked out into the kitchen and grabbed her breakfast; a slice of wholemeal toast with butter. She walked into the living room and sat next to Beastboy who was eating his sugary breakfast cereal on the couch watching `Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi.' she sat down quietly but was smiling. Beastboy looked round at her. `Her grey complexion is very flattering of her face features especially her glittering eyes…` he thought to himself. He saw the smile etched on he lips and gave a quizzical look. She turned to him still smiling, her smile widened slightly. He blushed red and whipped his head around to stare back at the T.V. She too looked back at the T.V screen. Raven giggled as Ami and Yumi warded off some talent sucking monsters. Beastboy was now defiantly shocked. He had never seen Raven so happy. And he had certainly NEVER heard her giggle before. He looked round at Raven and said in a shaking voice

“ Rae? Are you OK?” she looked at him.

Then in her mellow tone replied “Yes, why do you ask?”

he seemed taken aback by this answer and then replied “Well you seem sorta… happier than usual today.”

She glared at him “I'm fine. What do you mean `happier than usual'?”

“Oh, nothing, nothing!” Luckily Raven didn't start an argument because of the arrival of Cyborg and Robin.

“Yo, what's happening?” Cyborg asked, his mouth open awaiting the pancakes on the end of his fork.

“Morning.” Robin said slowly “Every body looking forward to the trip today?”

“Hell yeh!” a voice said from behind. It was Bumblebee and Starfire who had just entered the room.

“I have to agree, today will be most enjoyable!” Starfire added eating her strawberry yoghurt for breakfast. All the others just nodded in agreement.

“So, is everyone packed and ready? After Cyborg has finished his pancakes, we can pack the T-car and set off.”

“Yeh, we're ready Robin.” Raven said with a small curve to the edge of her lips.

“Good. Are you finished Cyborg?” Robin looked around and saw the guy nodding frantically at him as he swallowed his last mouthful of pancakes. “Let's go then.” Robin turned round and walked down to the garages.

Beast boy watched as Raven hopped over the back of the couch with her black swimming bag swinging at her hip. “You coming BB?” Raven said to the green boy staring at her, his face frozen in bewilderment. He snapped out of his trance and joined up with Raven.

`Did she just call me BB?' he thought to himself before he started speaking. “Oi, Rae, I'm sorry if offended you earlier, I didn't mean too…” he trailed off as they started to walk down the steps to the garages. “That's OK … Just promise me one thing BB.”

“What's that?”

“Have a good day today, alright?” she smiled at him.

“s-sure!” he stammered as he watched the mysterious girl hover over to the car and place her bag in the boot.

They were finally driving along the motorway, only a bit longer until the turn off to the beach. A red motorbike swerved in front of the car causing Cyborg to slam down on the breaks. This sudden speed transition caused Starfire and Raven (Who were sitting opposite Robin and BB) to lurch forward and collide into the person opposite them. Raven landed on top of Beastboy and Starfire landed on Robin.

“Are you Ok Star?” Robin asked softly, realising they were in a bit of an awkward position.

“I seem to be uninjured.” She replied shifting herself back onto her seat.

“Em, Rae? Are you okay?” Beastboy said with a red flush appearing on his green cheeks.

“Yeh I'm fine BB.” she also moved back onto her seat, her cheeks bright red too.

Bumblebee who was sitting in the front of the car with Cyborg rolled down her window and stuck her torso out of it. She started to scream abuse at the motorcyclist as he speed down the road “OI! YOU F**KING JERK! WHAT THE F**KING HELL DO YOU BLOODY WELL THINK YOUR DOING? ARE YOU BLOODY F**KING BLIND? YOU PIECE OF F**KING SHIT! GET YOUR F**KING ARSE BACK HERE! I'M GONNA SO OPEN A CAN OF F**KING WHOOPASS ON YOU! YOU HAVE RIGHT F**KING PISSED ME OFF NOW! HEY! WHERE THE F**K DO YOU THING YOUR GOING! I'M BLOODY F**KING TALKING TO YOU! YOU PIECE OF F**KING CRAP! OI!….” she continued to shout at the biker even though she now couldn't see him.

With the sound of Bumblebee yelling behind them, Robin took the opportunity to ask Beastboy a question. He leant over and whispered to the other boy. “Since when has Raven been calling you BB any ways?” Beastboy blushed slightly and answered the question of his fellow titan. “since about this morning. Robin, dude, she is really starting to freak me out today… not in a bad way though in a freakily good way… she's been acting real happy today man. It's so… not like her…” Robin just nodded in response.

Finally they had arrived at the beach. The titans restlessly jumped out of the car and unpacked the boot. They all sprinted up the sandy hill and stared at the sight in front of them. Golden sand and glistening sapphire sea, exactly the same as it always was. The group of six settled down under cedar trees at the very edge where the beach crossed into forest. The titans set there blankets down just in front of a ridge of flowers near the beach. The ridge contained all sorts of flowers like : Monk's Hood, Harebell, purple-loosestrife, clustered bell flower, bittersweet, oxeye daisy and black nightshade.

Although Robin called the trip `group interaction', the group split up anyway. Robin, Starfire, Bumblebee and Cyborg all went to play 2 aside football. But Raven and Beastboy stayed with the bags. Raven stood up and started too take off her clothes. Beastboy, who was sitting next to her just couldn't help but look over at her. She took off her cape and threw it on the floor. She then turned her back on Beastboy and proceeded in taking off her leotard. Beastboy's face steadily went crimson. He tried to look away but found himself transfixed on the undressing Raven. She unclipped the top half of her leotard and it fell away from her body. All Beastboy could see was Ravens back. He watched her smooth skin move as her muscles tensed, now bare to the gentle summer breeze. Raven pulled a deep blood red halter-neck bikini top out of her swimming bag and tied the neck strings around her neck. She then used her hands to push the fabric over her boobs. She turned around and looked the gawping BB in the face.

“Could you put some lotion on my back please BB?” she asked in her mellow tone, but with a smile. “Of Course.” he replied taking the lotion bottle next to him in his hand. He casually crawled over to Raven who had now laid down on the floor. He straddled her back and came to rest on her firm bottom. He blushed even more (If that's even possible!) He squeezed the ointment into his hand and started to tenderly massage it into Raven's back. She whimpered in pleasure as his massaging hands became more firm. All of a sudden Beastboy's hands ran up her hips and around to the front of her body. He had no control whatsoever over his hands. He began to knead her breasts. Raven was taken aback, but put up no resistance. Her lack of resistance and reaction to the situation stunned Beastboy. He stopped and rested his head on her back. She swiftly turned over and this transferred Beastboy's head in-between Raven's boobs, yet neither of them seemed to care. Beastboy sighed and sat up. He gazed into Raven's eyes and she gazed back into his. Both were blushing. Beastboy lent forwards and their lips met. Their kiss didn't finish until they needed to breath.

“Raven…” murmured Beastboy

“Yes?” Raven replied

“I knew I had feelings for you, but, I just haven't been able to express them until now… Raven, I love you.”

“Beastboy… I…I…I love you too. I always have, I just haven't been listening to my heart. I always truly have loved you and I always will.”

“Oh Raven. I'm so glad that we've finally admitted to loving each other, this makes me so happy.”

“I'm happy too. Happier than I have ever been before. After my terrifying childhood, I'm so glad that my life can now be the way it should be. And, I can spend all my life with you…”

Raven and Beastboy snuggled together, falling asleep with each other under the midday sun.

 

Not far away behind a hillock of sand The other four teen titans had been watching Beastboy and Raven for some time now.

“Right on girl! Get in there!” Bumblebee cried.

“Shhh! Bumblebee, they'll hear you, they mustn't know we're here!” Robin hissed.

“Go Beastboy, it's your birthday, uh huh uh huh.” Cyborg started chanting.

“It is Beastboy's birthday? We have not got him a gift!” Starfire cried, a look of terror on her face.

“don't worry Star, it is a figure of speech, it's not really Beastboy's birthday.” Robin said to her quickly.

Star muttered a gentle `Oh!' and then joined in chanting “Uh huh!” with Cyborg.

“Come on guys, lets go wake `em up and we can go swimming” Bumblebee suggested

“OK” the others agreed.
