True as it can be...

I didn't think of her like that.

Barely even friends

Then somebody bends

Unexpectedly...

But she glanced at me, and I couldn't stop staring.

Just a little change

Small to say the least...

I found myself walking her way.

Both a little scared

Neither one prepared...

Taking her hand in mine, we glided. Heart pounding. Sweat dropping.

Ever just the same

Ever a surprise...

She smiled at me. Vibrantly. My heart melted.

As the sun will arise...

She was my beginning. My end.
