My heart's in pain
My eyes begin to tear
Whenever I look upon the world.
The death, destruction, lies and greed,
Humanity itself makes my heart bleed.
When I try to speak out
My confidence gets crushed.
My words are looked on as a teenager's whine.
But I believe they have worth
I'm completely behind them.
So I will not give up
My voice will be heard
My words will one day ring throughout the world
Though my heart may bleed it will never run dry.
