I really do like to draw

With a paper and pencil in hand

First I sketch, then I ink

But you must have an idea in mind

You should also feel inspired for your piece

Find an idea from what you're feeling

Just stair up at the ceiling

And tell me what you see

Through a sketch of a dream released

To help your mind, try to listen to a band

The piece could be art of any kind

Acrylic, water, or pencil if you think

Purple, green, blue or even pink

Just make sure the paint won't be pealing

You can have any media that you find

But it can't break the law

Your media can even be sand

Duct-tape, make-up, or fleece

It could be a picture on keeping the peace

A boat that's about to sink

Or a beautiful land

Someone proposing while kneeling

A kitty-cat's paw

Or just a straight line

A tree of cedar, oak or pine

A cat catching a bunch of mice

Or a bird with a sharp claw

A racer winning a race before you can blink
or anything that you could be dealing

With that might be grand

Work in a hot place and you might need to be fanned

It takes a while, so keep track of time

Don't copy ideas or you would be stealing

It could be a gift for your niece

If you get tired, try to blink

But don't stay up until the rooster makes a caw

Now I've told you how too draw, so get something in your hand

Like ink for you idea in mind

Make you piece Inspired by feelings
