Chapter 2

(cut to George and Sierra walking down the sidewalk. George is pushing her bike while Sierra is cleaning her glasses.

George:(VO)Ok, this silence between us has lasted way too long.

George: So...Do you have any nicknames

Sierra:(puts her glasses back on)Dancing Queen, Iron Body, Vash, Ayane, Robin and Arucard.

George:(VO)Those are some crazy ass nicknames.

George: Umm....Why?
(Sierra sighs)
George:(VO)As it turns out, Dancing Queen is from her past life.

(cut to a screen that says '1975' on it. Behind the numbers, there is a disco. The numbers dissolves and We see Sierra in a silver outfit, her hair in a curly ponytail and without glasses. She's leading a group of people in a dance.)

George:(VO)Sierra was the disco queen of New York at just 17 years old. People would flock to clubs she was at just to see her dance. But she was just as strong with perverts then as she is now.

Man: Hey Baby!(grabs her ass)
(Sierra turns around and gives him an upper hook, knocking him to the ground)
Sierra: I ain't your baby!
(she steps on his stomach with her platform boot and poses as the club cheers.)
George:(VO)Ah, yes, life was good for her until that fateful June night.
(Sierra is walking out of the club)
Woman: Bye Sierra!

Sierra: Bye!

(a woman with long black hair runs by and grabs Sierra's shoulder. We see a soul pass as Sierra trips a bit)
Woman: Sorry!

Sierra: It's ok.
(Sierra goes to the crosswalk and sees the light turn green, but about halfway, the light turns red and a taxi speeds forward. Sierra is caught like a deer in the headlights as it starts to run her over)
(cut to her soul across the street, watching this in horror)
Sierra: Doesn't anyone see that girl getting Run over?!

Voice: Honey, that's you.
(Sierra turns around to see an all too familiar face. It's Daisy in a black and white coat. A tall man with brown hair is standing next to her)
Daisy: Sorry, baby, but you're dead.
(Sierra's eyes get big and she looks out to the street again)
George:(VO)Apparently, her death is where Iron body came from. Her body was ran over by 5 taxis but somehow, her body stayed intact, but at that piont, her soul was broken.

Sierra: Shit.

(Cut back to the present, where George has stopped in shock.)
George: Holy Shit, you used to work with Daisy?!

Sierra:(nods)but only for a year before I transferred to Seattle and met Rube and Betty.

George: But why didn't she say anything?!

Sierra: Daisy hated me. She always was jealous of me because I was already famous from dancing, even though it was flash in the pan famous. Plus, we had a few bickers. I guess she didn't say anything because she was still mad.

George: But those last nicknames. What do those mean?

Sierra: Those nicknames started when I was working in Japan.
(cut to Japan. The bottom of the screen says Akihabara,Japan-1985.Sierra is wearing an outfit a lot like what she is wearing now.)

George:(VO)Poor Sierra. A lot of the souls she took in Japan died in something that caused some pandemonium.(Sierra Takes a soul of a store owner before a huge sign comes down and crushes him. Many people start screaming)a few observant people noticed a girl in a red trenchcoat and glasses with a 'v' crook walking away from what happened.(We see an old woman look over Sierra's way. Cut to people watching the news)For years many said she was the true Grim Reaper or Satan's daughter, but then in 1998,Trigun came out.(cut to people watching this anime.)A character in a red trenchcoat with glasses appeared in this, so many belived his appearance was based on the mysterious girl. Then a few years later, Gatekeepers 21, Hellsing, and Witch Hunter Robin came out and again, characters with glasses and red trenchcoats, so she had 4 new nicknames. Vash, Robin, Ayane, and Arucard.

(cut to the present where George and Sierra arrived at the music store)

Sierra: Well, here goes nothing for Vash. Lets hope it's not a terrible scene(She walks in. George leans her bike against the wall and follows her in)

(Sierra looks at her post it which says 'L.Bailey'. She walks up to the register where we see the goth from the end of Season 1)

(A/N: She didn't have a name, did she? I was too lazy to actually give her one, so she will be referred to as Goth)

Goth: Can I help you?

Sierra: Yes, I'm looking for an L.Bailey. I heard this person has the best ear for music in the city. Do they work here?

(The goth girl sighs)

Goth:(shouts)Lauren!

(a girl with Cherry red hair, a t-shirt that says 'I chain Scarf brownies in the dark', a plaid miniskirt and combat boots comes from the back room)

Lauren: What is it Bitch?

George:(VO)Man, I haven't felt this much hate in one room since the last time I argued with my mom.

Goth: This one,(points to Sierra)Wants you.(she storms into the back room)

Lauren: Sorry about her, she didn't have her medication this morning. Can I help you?

Sierra: Yes, I'm looking for a cd that has some punk rock, some 70s music, some covers, and some J-pop. Can you help me find that?

George:(VO)Really, do you need to confuse the girl before she dies?

Lauren: I know the perfect CD!(goes in front of the register.)Follow me.

George:(VO)Well, screw what I said.

(Lauren Leads the two to the soundtrack section. She picks out the Scooby-Doo 2 soundtrack and hands it to Sierra)

Lauren: This should work.

George: Scooby-Doo 2?

Lauren: Ok, the movie sucked ass, but the soundtrack is perfect for what she is looking for. It has Simple plan and Bowling for Soup for punk rock, Wild Cherry with Play that Funky Music White Boy for '70s,Ruben Studdard covers Shining Star, and the last track is by P-

Sierra:(cuts her off in excitement)Puffy AmiYumi! Thank you!(shakes her hand and Lauren's soul passes)

Lauren: You're welcome.(smiles)

George:(VO)Lauren seemed like such a nice person. Too bad she had to die.

(Sierra goes to the register and pays for the cd. Just then, George sees a graveling out of the corner of her eye)

George:(VO)Shit, here comes Death's Calvary.

George:(whispers in Sierra's ear.)How do you think she will Die?

Sierra:(whispers back)I don't guess, I let it happen.

(Lauren starts walking towards the backroom, but her foot gets caught in a stereo cord. She bends down to loosen her foot, but a few inches of the wire is exposed. It gives her a shock and she is sent backwards. Her foot get caught again and this time ,the wire yanks the huge stereo, which falls on top of Lauren's head. Her soul appears on the other side of the register)

Lauren: Man, I wanted to die of old age! Not something job related.

Sierra: Well, tough luck. You're dead.

(the goth comes out of the backroom and sees Lauren's body.)

Goth: Holy Shit!(calls 911 on her cell phone)

(cut to a little bit later when the ambulance arrives. Lauren's body is carried off by the morgue while her soul, Sierra, and George are walking down the street)

Sierra: So, do you have an apartment?

Lauren: Yeah, but my keys were in my purse.
(Sierra shows her a Ryo-oki purse)
Sierra: Snatched it when goth wasn't looking.

Lauren: I'm gonna miss Ryo-oki.(tries to pet her purse but her hand goes through it)Dammit!

George:(VO)I just don't see how she could miss a purse. It was pretty cute though.

Lauren:(to Sierra)Don't go crapping up my apartment, ok?

Sierra: Trust me, I won't.

Lauren: It's kinda sad. I had tickets for Evanescence next month. Guess I won't see them now. I love that band.
(Lauren's lights appear, which seem to be in the form of a concert. You can hear 'My Immortal')
Lauren:(eyes wide)Am I still going?

Sierra: Yup, except your seat has been moved up to Front row center.

Lauren: Yes!(makes Devil horns)My apartment number is in the purse.(Walks off into the lights and disappears)

Sierra: Lets go see this apartment. I need a break after this.

A/N: Some things about the story. Lauren Bailey's name is a play on Laura Bailey, who is the English voice actress who plays Torhu on the Fruits Basket anime and Alv on Kiddy Grade.

Lauren's shirt that says 'I chain scarf brownies in the dark' actually exists. Its made by a company called Just Dumped. You can buy shirts that say stuff like 'Handle with care' and 'I brush my Barbie's hair every night' over the internet at "http://www.justdumped.com"

I actually have a Ryo-oki purse! It is very cute! If you don't know, Ryo-oki is a cabbit(part cat, part rabbit) from the Tenchi Muyo! series.

The Scooby Doo 2 soundtrack does have Puffy AmiYumi on it. I haven't seen the movie yet, so Lauren's opinion is not based on mine.
