Full Summary: Hermione's life has changed. It's in a good way so don't worry. Having gone to the states with her family to meet the extended family she's never known, Hermione finds out something else. This shocking revelation along with the new look and attitude, compliments of her cousins, will cause her life at Hogwarts to do a 180.

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter. If I did, I would be a very happy, VERY rich girl. Plus I wouldn't be wasting my time with this fic. J.K. Rowling is positively brilliant. The only things I do own is Hermione's extended family.

H.B.: Anyways, this is a Hermione/Draco fic. Don't like the couple then don't read. I've already got the couples figured out. I'm not going to say who the OC's are yet so here are the couples: Hermione/Draco, OC/Blaise, OC/Harry, OC/Ron, and Ginny/OC. It won't take you long to figure out who they are. Anyways on with the story….

….Prologue….

Hermione silently looked out the window as the plane started to land. It was weird, going to see people she's never known but is related to. She's never even heard of them till yesterday. She had just arrived home from her sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry….

Flashback

Hermione's mother, Alana Granger walked out of the kitchen to greet her daughter with a smile on her face. She gave Hermione a hug and said, "Welcome home, dear. You're father and I have a surprise for you."

Hermione's face lit up in, well, surprise. Her parents never really surprised her with anything lately. Wait, this thought suddenly made Hermione suspicious. She looked at her parents suspiciously and asked, "What is it?"

Hermione's father, Alexander(Alex for short), looked to his wife then to his daughter. He smiled and answered his daughter, "Hermione, dear, we're all going to California for the summer."

Hermione's face lit up as she squealed. She started dancing around singing "I'm going to California!" over and over again. She stopped suddenly, once again looking at her parents suspiciously. "Why?" she asked.

Her mother answered, "Well dear, my mother and my sister moved to the States about a year after you were born. I thought it best if you finally meet them. Not to mention your four cousins."

Hermione's eyes bulged as she shrieked, "I HAVE AN AUNT AND FOUR COUSINS!?!?!?!? I always thought you were an only child! And you never once spoke of my grandmother!"

"I have my reasons, Hermione. I can't tell you them now. But I can when we get to California," said Alana(I'm just going to refer to her as the name I've given her cuz I'm getting tired of typing 'her mother' or 'Hermione's mother') calmly.

Hermione looked at both her parents, thinking. She looked up at them and smiled, "Okay. When do we leave?" This caused her parents to smile.

"Tomorrow at ten," answered Alex.

End Flashback

So, here she is, sitting on a plane at the John Wayne-Orange County Airport in Santa Ana, California, about to get off. She looks to her parents to see her mother shaking her father to wake him up. Once they got off the plane, they were greeted with the sight of seven people, two males, five females, with the three youngest looking females holding up a sign that said 'Granger'.

"Alana!" shouted the two oldest females as they ran quickly to Hermione's mother, only to embrace her in a tight hug.

"Mother! Dynamis! I've missed you both so much!" cried Alana happily as she hugged both of them back. She pulled away to look at them. "You look almost exactly the same as you did 16 years ago!" She looked to her daughter and smiled, "Hermione, come here and meet your aunt and grandmother."

Hermione looked at her aunt and her grandmother. Both were indeed beautiful women. What shocked Hermione was that she and her mother looked nothing like them. Both she and her mother had brown hair and eyes, while her grandmother had shimmering silver hair and warm amber eyes, and her aunt had the same silver hair but had lavender, red and blue streaks and the same amber eyes but with a silver tint. All she could manage was a simple, "Hello." Her aunt looked at her, smiling, then stared at her mother, who stared back, as if having a silent conversation. The staring contest resulted in a negative shake of the head from her mother and a disappointed look from her aunt. Her grandmother smiled at her while giving her a hug.

"Its good to see you after all this time, my dear," said her grandmother who had tears of happiness rolling down her cheeks.

Her Aunt Dynamis, who stopped looking at Alana disappointedly, once again smiled at Hermione before saying, "The last time we saw you was when you were just a baby." Dynamis looked up when she noticed the others walking up to them before adding, "I would like you to meet my husband Tynan and our children Haven, Kali, Fay and Xavier. Haven, Kali and Faye are triplets. They are your age and Xavier is a year younger."

Hermione looked at her cousins. She could sum them up with one word. A word some look down on while others are it. That word would have to be…Gothic. All four of them were wearing clothes that had to be from Hot Topic. A store Hermione has always wanted to go to but was too afraid. Anyways, Haven shoulder length midnight black hair with silver bangs and silver, tinted gold eyes and was wearing a black and silver pinstripe skirt that was four inches above her knees that showed off her long legs, a black Happy Bunny(H.B.: If you don't know what Happy Bunny is then run before I hit you!!!) fitted tee that said "Make the stupid people shut up" in silver across the front, and a pair of slides that had three black straps that crossed the foot and silver skull crossbone studs across them while being 2 inches high at the toe and three inches at the heel. Kali, who also had shoulder length midnight black, but tinted red with blood red bangs and pale red eyes that were tinted gold, and Fay, who had the same shoulder length midnight black, but was tinted lavender with lavender bangs and lavender, tinted gold eyes, were wearing the same thing except wherever there was silver, Kali had red while Fay had lavender. Xavier had on some baggy black pants with noticeable blue stitch, two removable chains that hung down from below the two front pockets and crisscrossed in the back to hang from the two back pockets and lower leg zips. He had on a shirt that said Metallica across the chest and a pair of steel-toed army boots. (H.B.: Hot Topic is the best store ever…too bad it cost so damn much to shop there…sigh anyways...

H.B.: Ok...so you have met the extended family. If you liked it so far, don't get mad at me for stopping it here!! Remember! This is just the prologue! sighs while wishing she had her character's clothes Damnit! Why does Hot Topic have to be so damn expensive?! Anyways, push the blue button in the bottom left hand corner!! …Wait…you know what? I just realized that that is not really blue…Its more of a bluish lavender…shrugs Oh well. Push it anyways!
