Title: One Pheonix
Chapter one:
Let the Battles Begin!
~~~LOG 1~~~
I have no home, no family, nothing to go back to. All I have is Xanthos and my Sister, Lyra. I will find you. No matter what it takes …
The one who is the master of the phoenix shall prevail.
The one whom the phoenix trusts and protects.
Sound of mind and spirit,
Brave of heart,
And kind in soul,
Shall be the One.
!BANG!
The Titans were currently using a new training method down in the basement: One-on-one battles. And since Cyborg and Beastboy liked to make a game out of everything, they decided to turn their training time into a tournament. Beastboy was currently facing off against Starfire.
Cyborg laughed hysterically at Beastboy who had been slammed into the far wall by one of Starfire's starbolts.
“Ow…you don't know how painful that was!”
“You should have seen your face though, man! It was like: WHOA!” Cyborg did an impression of how Beastboy had looked the moment the starbolt whacked him upside the head. This consisted of a hilariously wide-eyed Beastboy with his jaw hitting the floor.
“That's it Beastboy. You're down.” Robin was stating the obvious again.
“Victory!” Starfire celebrated.
“You just got lucky, Star.” Beastboy said.
“Better luck next time, Beastboy. Raven, you're up against Cyborg.”
“OH you are in so much trouble, Cyborg. She going to kick your—
“If you say one more thing, BB, I'm going make you wish you never got up this morning.”
Beastboy smiled mischeiviously after Cyborg as he followed Raven into the ring.
“Are you two ready?” Robin asked.
“Let's get this over with.” Raven said in a bored tone.
“Ring the bell, man!” Cyborg answered.
“Go Cyborg! Oh Wait… Go Raven!” Starfire was having trouble deciding which of her friends she should cheer for.
“Oh! I wanna ring the bell!” Beastboy shouted.
“Too late, Beastboy.” Robin rang the bell and the battle began.
While the Titans were battle training, two very strange objects were hurtling through space towards Earth. Two streaks: one a fire-y red, the other a cool blue.
`You cannot escape, Talithia!'
`That is what you perceive!'
The two streaks suddenly stopped one light year away from Earth. The red streak was no longer a streak. It had turned into a boy, dressed all in red riding atop a huge fire-y bird. The blue streak turned into an older woman surrounded by a flaming blue aura. There was a small girl wearing white clutched in her grasp.
`If you wish for her to see another moon, you shall no longer pursue me!'
`I will pursue until I die, Talithia! You will not lay a finger upon her again!'
The blue woman laughed at the boy's arrogance. `I have destroyed everything you know and love, Kaelyn Pyros! What can you possibly do to me?'
`Sakrea Lyrion Kaeyae!' the boy, Kaelyn, shouted and at his command, a sword appeared in his left hand and pointed it straight at Talithia. `You shall die by my sword!'
And the battle began.
