The Sun
I have been changed...
Will I ever be able to see the sun again?
Feel its sweet, sweet chaste kiss against my skin?
You say, "oh don't be silly the sun can't hurt you."
So you drag me out...
Only then do you realize that you have started to seal my dreadful fate...
Quick like a fox, I am in again.
You stare at me with wide eyes... wide like that of a child seeing something new and interesting.
I have black marks on my bare arms.
I curse under my breath and say, “shit I knew I should have grabbed my parasol today."
Will I ever be able to see the sun again?
