Getting Teddy I
Hello, What's your name?
Hi BaBa, I'm Jon.
It is nice to meet you.
Where are you from?
What? You don't know?
I can give you a home.
You're welcome, BaBa
Years pass
Hey Teddy!
I'm home from school!
Yeah, I'm glad to see you too.
I really dig your threads.
Don't you miss
The good old days when we
Went to the same school
Yeah, me too.
Those were the days, huh?
Metaphor: Slaying a dragon
Getting Teddy II
My rite of toddler hood.
My second birthday.
I draw my sword,
A dagger to most men,
And fight the tiny chibi dragon,
To the victor go the spoils,
And I claim my prize,
A gilded idol,
Made in the form of a Koala.
I will value it for all my life,
for it is my symbol of toddler hood
Getting Teddy III
A fresh new face,
Fresh out of the store,
Like cookies fresh out of the oven
Made lovingly,
By the mechanical hands of
| Machines |
Who soul purpose is to make
Sweet cookies,
Fresh for the eating
Soft and chewy
