Chapter 3

Figuring things out

As Kira looked out the door at the dust her cousin had left behind she turned to Conner

"Well? What are you waiting for? Follower her!"

"Why me?" asked the jock as the boys gave him a `are you that stupid?' look as Kira whacked his head

"Yes you! You're the only one as fast as she seems to be!" said the yellow ranger as Tommy, getting over his shock at seeing Kim again, stepped in

"Conner, go. We'll follow in the jeep" at this Conner nodded as he ran before Kira could hit him again. Kim took this moment to start asking Kira questions on just what the heck was going on while they loaded into Tommy's jeep tracking Conner by his gem.

WITH TRACE

Trace looked around; she knew red dino boy was following her. Having joined with her guardian, the cheetah, hadn't given him a chance on following her with out notice.

As she watched Conner looked for her and thought `he's taking longer than Matt did.' as she remembered how they got there powers

A group six kids walked through the dense woods on a narrow path following two girls, one in white and the other in red.

"Megan, where are we going?" the girl in red asked the white clad girl

"There's this really neat cave up ahead that I want to show you guys. We just need to follow the path" the girl in white responded

"What path?" a girl in pink asked as she joined the two girls in front along with a girl clad in yellow

"The one we're walking on Katie" said a boy dressed in blue as he to joined up with the group

"oh. Where's Matt, Owen?" said Katie as she turned to look for their reclusive friend "I'm right here" said a boy in black as he went to stand beside the girl in red

"Hello Trace" he addressed the girl then turned to the others "Megan" he said to the girl in white "Baillie" he addressed the girl in yellow

"Hello Matt" responded the girls as he went silent

"Megan?"

"Yea Owen?"

"Where did the path go?" at this the ground under them gave way and they landed in what looked like an under ground cave.

"What the hell" came from Katie as she got off of Owen and went to help him and the others up?

"Where are we" said Megan as she and Trace dusted them selves off

"In a cave" said Katie, trying to lighten the mood that had settled over them

"Yeah I think we figured that part out Katie" said Baillie as she rubbed her head as Matt held her up

"Hey guys, look at this!" said Owen as he pointed over to a set of doors that had a circle engraved with six different felines on them

"What is it?" asked Matt as Baillie managed to get over her dizziness to walk over to the door

"I don't know, but I say we check it out" said Trace as she grabbed the handles and pulled them open before any of them could stop her.

"Wow" said them all in awe as they looked at the chamber, startled out of their awed state when a voice said

"Welcome rangers"

A crash shocked her out of her revenue. Trace jumped down from the tree just as a thing was sent crashing into it causing it fall over

"What was that?!" said trace as she jumped-up of the way as another one of those things came at her. Conner looked over at Trace as he punched one of the triranodrones and rushed over the Trace's side.

"Those things are called triranodrones and they aren't the nicest guys in the world" explained the jock as he hit another drone down

"these are nothing" stated the girl as she to joined the fray only Elsa chose this time to appear along with another woman only this one was dressed in gray leather instead of black along with long gray hair but up in a bun. Upon seeing the woman in gray, Trace growled, literally.

"What the hell do you want Zellion?" she demanded as she instinctively grabbed the amulet that hung around her neck.

"Why hello red ranger, so this is where you ran to hide." Said Zellion as she and Trace faced off.

"I'm not hiding bitch, now where's Katie?" she growled as she tugged at her necklace, pulling it off so she could hold it to a morpher that had appeared on her wrist

"CHOAS RANGER RED! POWER UP! CHEETAH!" Conner watched as she morphed before he did the same as the rest of his team joined him along with Kim who had followed against Tommy and Kira's protests.

"Now, now little kitty cat, why would I tell you that?" hissed Zellion as she attacked Trace

The two faced off as the dino rangers faced off with the drones and Elsa until four more rangers arrived and joined Trace in her fight

"Black Panther!"

"Yellow Jaguar!"

"Blue Tiger!"

White Lion!" they shouted out their colors as they landed their hits on Zellion.

As Zellion saw that she was not going to win she disappeared along with Elsa into an invise portal.

"Power down." Said all the rangers as the faced off one another

"Um, trace? Who are they?" asked the boy in black as she stepped closer to Trace

"These are the Dino Thunder Rangers that Ice told us we needed to find. As to who they are, the yellow is my cousin Kira, the one in Red is Conner, the one in blue is Ethan, the one in white is Trent and the one in black is Tommy Oliver ands you guys know my sister, Kim" the four nodded as their morpher's went off.

"Yea, Trace here Ice. What is it?"

"Trace, where are you? Did the others get there alright?" asked a feminine voice over the morpher

"yes and I'm in Reefside with my cousin and the rest of the dino rangers"

"you found them? Good! bring them back here; I think I found out where Zellin and that dino dude hid Katie"

"you found it? I hope Ray and Amy don't fry you again for touching their computers" sighed Trace as the others grinned before they grabbed some else and teleported

(Megan-Trent, Matt- Tommy, Owen- Ethan, Baillie- Kira, Trace- Conner and Kim).

As they landed and regrouped into their proper groups the younger rangers grinned as three people came out of another room.

"welcome back Rangers"
