What is the prepose of Maximum EX?

When I was rewriting Frontier King my Maximum series was being taken down left and right by fanfiction.net mods, at first it was just a darker retelling of the entire series. The inspiration was this mange called Blame!, I was wowwed by the pictures and began to etch out this plot in my mind.

The first half of this story, World Retrigger, is very depressing compared to the others - to date Final Target is still being written -. Why is that?

Well, I was in a very depressed state when I began writing. As the series went on I became less and less depressed.

Speaking of less and less how come in the beginning the sex scenes - just hints in the FF.N version - were almost in every chapter but thins out later on?

Same reason as above, I just "grew" out of it.

MST - Mystery Science Theater - fics; what is your opinion on them?

To be 100% truthful. Love the show, in fact worship it. But I HATE MST writers, they take fics - both great and horrid - and throw out the rules of MSTing them. It's a three person troupe, not a freaking fleet!

Plus, after reading so many of them, I have found the writer of a bad MST is worse than the material they work with. If that made sense.

Why is the first story called "World Retrigger?"

It means it's a world that was recreated from an old world/idea (the first Maximum story and gaiden).

Is there a reason Townsville is such a hell?

Simple, it was atmospheric.

In a author's note in the FF.N version you mention a discussion gone bad, what was that about?

Okay; here's the story.

This guy on this BBS was asking for help to convert HTML into TXT for the main site of the BBS's host when this big shot starts to bad mouth fanfiction.net saying it was nothing but four year olds that can barely see the screen and they can't determine how much crapness they write. And in turn this A-hole and friends started on how great there mod-controlled system was compared to the open end system many other sites operate under. Forgetting the fact that sites like FF.N have over hundreds of categories and over two hundred post entries every day, it would be impossible for mods to read every single post and grade it.

I guess I am bitter about being rejected a story I worked hard one because of a few grammar mistakes. Add in the fact the jerks were pretending their bland stories didn't stink and I jumped into the topic with tooth and claw.

It ended with them showing more stupidity about they should only except members exclusively to their site. I said it still wouldn't help, their stories are still going to be crap; only with better use of periods.

Well, that's the first commentary - the second one will appear in after the second arc.
