The last commentary had it's italics removed for some reason, so in this commentary it will have a Q & A format.

Q: In this arc everything has been shifted from a dark, angst-ridden world to something more action-oriented, that's is slightly more upbeat.

Want to explain why?

A: Well, in the original story - the original series, not the recent remake - the second story was more action based. This was pre-destined to be something like the story before, which both were inspired by Ninja Gaiden - the NES version. -

Q: What is normally on your desk?

A: (laughs) You mean this wire spindle I use to hold up my computer? Well, I have nic-nacs, three pairs of sunglasses, a micro-machines and a facial wash tube I've been meaning to use.

Q: Some authors say you have to visualize one's story as a movie playing through your head, do you do this?

A: No, I've tried but those stories usual never work out or wind up bad. I tend to picture them as a finished manga, that way I can "study" the details of a scene. With exceptions.

Q: What the exceptions?

A: Ideas I have usual get run around my mind, they take all sorts of forms. Scenes are done in movie and manga ways, even written too. But scenes using mayor battles with a mid-boss, those are pictured as a game. Complete with life bars and weapons, this is very helpful.

Q: Besides writing what you do?

A: Program and learning to smith swords.
