“You see Jamila, if you touch the jewels, your precious ryan and me and my henchman will disappear forever!” “now if you let me take them, only Ryan will disappear and I will have eternal life” explained Baal

 

“So, your saying it's a lose lose situation…” Casey said

 

“Well then I chose neither!” she said pushing the chest of jewels into the acid pit as Baal and his two henchmen disappeared.

 

“Why did you do that? I thought it was your parents' last wish.” Ryan said.

 

“What my parents would have really wanted was for me to be happy…” Casey said with a smile on her face.

 

“Casey… I …love you.” Ryan said as a tear ran down Casey's face. Ryan leaned in and they shared a kiss…

 

I would say they lived happily ever after, but they probably didn't, they probably had their share of fights and they probably had a lot of obstacles. But they would always have each other and to me I do believe that is a happy ending.
