Great Friend

She introduced me,

"This is my great friend."

I was a little surprised.

I didn't feel like a great friend.

I was still weak.

She had soft eyes.

She was much stronger than I.

The whole world was on her shoulders,

But she never asked anything of me.

When the world began to collapse,

She never asked for help.

I watched the falling stars.

I watched the sky fade.

She said I was a "great friend".

But I was still weak.
