[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

Hey! I'm back again with a new twist, this time its The Legend of Zelda! This is my first MediaMiner.org appearance, although you can find Inuyasha fics, including a Inuyasha/The Legend of Zelda crossover under Fourth Child Of Destiny, in fanficton.net. I'm way excited to be writing this, it's my first serious Romance/Angst story. I hope you enjoy this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it. It takes place just after Link and Zelda escape from Ganondorf's castle.

Reawaking: Prologue

A figure of a young woman, probably in her seventeen's, could be seen running across the debris. Her waist-length blonde hair was flying behind her, as she scuttled hurried, trying not to trip over the many bodies of Lizalfos, Wolfos and ReDeads. Close after her, with a large sword and a shield in hand, another figure limped behind her, being careful not to lose her in the whirlwind of smoke and ashes. The woman took a sharp right and a pink light engulfed her and her power opened the last gate into the outside world.

The woman gave a sigh of relief, barely audible, and the man behind her collapsed on the ground. He was exhausted and he feared his left leg was seriously injured.

"Link!" she cried, as the kneeled beside him. "Link, are you alright?"

The man named Link panted, trying to catch his breath and focus on something other than the pain. He saw the woman's face and smiled weakly. "I'm f-fine, Princess Zelda." He weakly stood up, his knees buckling at the weight. "Oh, Link, it's over!" Zelda said and she hugged him tightly. Link hugged her back with his right hand, closing his eyes and falling into their embrace. But, something was oh-so wrong.

"Zelda, move!" he ordered roughly and pushed her out of the way. He rolled towards her, as another explosion could be heard. Link's eyes widened in terror and Zelda gasped. He stood before them, a battered King of Thieves.

"You think you can escape me, bitch?" he roared out, his glare penetrating her bones. "I'm going to kill you, if it's the last thing I do!"

Link went into fight mode again. "I'll protect her, no matter what the cost, Ganondorf." Link spat out. Suddenly, a blast of lighting hit Ganondorf, then another. A huge electric storm was surrounding him, and was engulfed in a black light. The sight made Link gulp. A huge monster was standing before them, its tail swishing around dangerously. "Stay out of they way Zelda!" he commanded as he ran on the opposite direction, attracting the beast's attention.

Ganon chased after him, and Link stood, his Master Sword ready. He rolled out of the way as Ganon swished his tail. Link struck him everywhere: on his arms, his legs, and his face. But, his skin served as a heavy armor and he did not move quick enough this time. The beast knocked him several feet away with his tail. Link fell, his back stinging at the impact. He tried to stand up but he could not. `Zelda, I failed you . . .'

Zelda screamed as Ganon's hand closed tightly around her waist. "I'm going to crush you, Dear Princess of Hyrule." he laughed evilly, as Zelda tried to escape.

"There's one thing you didn't keep in mind, Ganon!" She conjured Din's Fire and shot it right into his eyes. The beast roared, clutching his eyes, and Zelda quickly crawled away, towards Link. "Link! It's his tail! Strike it with your Master Sword!" she whispered, and her pink light closed around them. "What's ha-happe-ni-ning?" Link muttered. They were not in Ganon's castle anymore. It was the old Castle Courtyard, where he first saw Zelda.

"Link."

He looked forward. There was Zelda, in a beautiful dress. Her blonde hair was down and her azure eyes were sparkling. He walked over to her and she saw him smile. She sat on the small stairs and patted the spot right next to her. Link took this as an invitation to sit down. He awkwardly did, looking at the beautiful garden. "Link, you are so close to your goal. You have made all of us proud to have come so far. I know I tricked you. I pretended to be someone I was not, and I never told you. But, it was not my place to reveal myself so soon. So, please . . . forgive me." She made a small pause. "I don't know how you feel, but I still see the small boy that I saw 8 years ago . . . the same little boy I fell in love with."

Link stared at her, as if what she just said had not happened. He stuttered, trying to figure out what to say. As he was going to open his mouth, a slender finger pressed down on his lips. "You don't have to answer me, Link. You will leave Hyrule once your task is done, won't you? Being tagged as `The Hero of Time' must be hard to handle with." she sighed, and tears spilt out of her beautiful eyes. Link's hands cupped her face, and he brushed her tears away with his thumbs. "I gave you such a hard responsibility." she whispered guiltily. Then it hit Link. She felt responsible for all that had happened?!

"Don't you ever think that way." he whispered back menacingly. She looked at him shocked, as his sky blue eyes darkened with hate. "It is certainly not your fault Hyrule became this! You're the most beautiful, noble, caring, sweet person I have ever met. So don't you DARE say it's your fault!" Zelda stared at him, evidently shocked at the way he had spoken to her. Suddenly, his tone softened. "Forgive me, Princess. I-I just don't want you to feel guilty-at all. Her long black eyelashes battered softly and her gaze softened, too. "I love you." And with that, they slowly leaned their faces forward, their lips hovering closer and closer, until they touched. `This is the best feeling in the world' Link thought, as he deepened the kiss. Zelda's arms went around his neck and his hands lowered to her hips, caressing softly. A few moments later, they broke apart.

She smiled and softly closed her eyes, as she fainted. Zelda?!?" he cried out as he caught her, but she only opened her eyes weakly and smiled. "I'm giving my last powers to you, Link." She caressed his cheek with her soft hand, Link rubbing against her hand to seek the last warmth he could out of her. "You will come back, won't you Link?" she asked softly, her eyes spilling tears again.

"Strike his tail with your Master Sword . . ."

Suddenly, they came back to the real world

Zelda was lying limp in his arms, a soft smile gracing her lips. His eyes darkened with hate and anger. He put her down. "Naavi," he spoke in a harsh voice, "take care of her." The small fairy nodded, terrified by his tone.

He ran over to Ganon. "You filthy bastard!" he cried out as she shoot a Light Arrow at his eyes. "You destroyed my life, and everyone else's!" he roared, as he rolled beneath his giant feet. "You killed so many people!" he unsheathed his sword. "You ruined Hyrule, you used the Triforce for your own sick amusement, and you put Zelda's life in danger. He slashed at Ganon's tail. "So, this is for the Deku Tree and all the friends you destroyed!" The beast roared in pain, trying to catch Link, but he blocked his attacks with his Mirror Shield. He jumped sideways, and did a Jump Attack at his tail again. "This one is for all the people you've hurt and all the lives you destroyed!" Ganon slashed Link's side, and Link almost collapsed. But Zelda's powers kept him going.

"AND THIS IS FOR PUTTING ZELDA'S LIFE IN DANGER!" he screamed, full of anger, furry, and hatred. He used his Spin Attack and with the final blow, Ganon shrieked. He stumbled sideways, trying to hurt Link, but he lost his balance and fell into the pit of lava. Link was finally free. He was free of everything. He dropped to his knees and he lied there, too tired to think, and too tired to move. `Zelda . . .' he thought, before he collapsed.

Link opened his eyes. He was in a room somewhere. He slowly sat up and noticed he was in a bed. There was a dining table next to him and a wooden closet. He groggily stood up and as soon as he did, the door opened. A young woman, probably in her sixteen's with red hair and purple eyes came in. He grinned. "Malon."

The girl smiled back and ran over to hug him. "I'm so glad your safe!" she said and took a few steps behind to examine him. "I thought you'd be in pretty bad shape after the fight, but you're okay." He grinned again. "I'm lucky, that's all." Then, he suddenly darkened. "Where's Zelda?"

Malon walked towards the window and pulled the curtains. "See for yourself."

Link walked over and stood surprised. Everyone in Hyrule was out celebrating.

The whole population of Hyrule was celebrating Ganondorf's fall. Lon Lon Ranch had never been livelier. A huge bonfire in the middle of the field lit up the night, Gerudo's were drinking and dancing, Goron's were talking merrily with Zoras and all the Hylians were sitting across the bonfire, eating and drinking. The Six Sages were there too: Nabooru, Darunia, Ruto, Impa, Saria and even Rauru. But the most important person was missing: The Hero of Time.

He looked closer and saw Zelda walking around. Link looked at Malon and she smiled. "Go for it."

Zelda was walking around, making sure everyone was comfortable and had food and drink. She giggled at Darunia's jokes and even invited Nabooru to her castle for a girl talk, as soon as things were back to normal. Ruto, Rauru, Saria, and her discussed the state of Hyrule and planed a rushed meeting of the Sages by early morning. She discussed it hurriedly and very quietly. Unknown to them, Link was lurking in the shadows and could hear everything they were saying except for the last statement. `I wonder what Zelda was telling them. It must be important.'

"Princess Zelda, now that everything is back to normal, will you be taking the rightful place as Queen?" Rauru asked.

Zelda sighed. "I am . . . not sure of what I will do yet. The most important thing is to rebuild Hyrule right now, and make sure that things go back to normal. Once it is done, I shall make my decision."

"Well then Zeldy," Ruto said in a taunting tone, "who's going to be your king?"

Link chuckled quietly as Zelda blushed a deep red. "I do-don't kn-know yet!" she stuttered, and the four sages laughed.

"I think I know someone that might absolutely jump at the chance." Saria giggled, looking towards where Link was. Link did not move. Did Saria know he was there? But soon enough, she turned back to the conversation, but Link could have sworn he was her wink. He decided it was time for him to appear.

Link walked stealthly behind Zelda, and when he was close wrapped his arms around her. Zelda almost cried out in surprise, but as soon as she realized who it was, she leaned back into him. "Well, if it isn't the man of the hour." Rauru praised and everyone around hooted and cheered. He grinned. "Thank you, thank you, thank you very much." he joked and there was a hearty laughter. "Princess Zelda's gonna need a new King!" Ruto said loudly and the whole crowd hooted this time. Zelda blushed a deep red and Link chuckled.

"She already has one!" he replied, grinning, and bent down to kiss Zelda. The group hooted, cheered, and applauded them. "I've never seen the Princess to red!" a woman said from the back, and everyone laughed. "Impa?" Zelda asked? A woman with short, gray hair tied in a short ponytail, golden eyes, and wearing a warrior's outfit neared them. Zelda ran to her and hugged her tightly. "I'm so glad you're here." she said softly, and Impa smiled. She almost cried!

"I am glad to be here, amongst all the good people of Hyrule. So, drink, eat, and be merry, for tomorrow a new day rises! Hear, hear!!" Everyone raised their glasses and drank to Impa's words. "My, Zelda, you have grown. You are not the young girl I knew such a long time ago." Impa praised. "Princess, what will you do now?"

"We have a meeting with the Sages tomorrow morning. Can you be there?" Zelda asked quietly, making sure no one overheard them. Impa nodded. "I shall be there Princess." Zelda excused herself to go into the Ranch House and take a break. She went into the bedroom and began taking her ripped clothes off. Malon had let her borrow a simple white dress like the one she wore, modestly saying it was all she had, but Zelda had smiled at her and told her it was just fine.

"I'm going to rest a while. I am still quite tired." Link said politely and the four Sages nodded. On his way back, a few people approached him to shake hands with him and thank him for saving Hyrule. It was nice to know people were so grateful to him, but it bothered him a bit. He went into the Ranch House and opened the bedroom door. What was in the room shocked him.

Zelda was topless, her back facing him, and she was only wearing a white see-through skirt. Her blonde hair contrasted against her pale, freckled skin. To his horror, she turned, giving him a quick peek at her chest. Zelda's eyes widened in terror, as she tried to cover herself with the shirt she was about to put on. "I'm sorry!!" Link said hurriedly, as he covered his eyes with his hand. "I di-din't kn-know you were here, I swear!" he tried to explain, and walked out of the room. He was about to close the door, when a hand stopped the door in its tracks. He looked up surprised to see Zelda stopping the door, her eyes unreadable.

"Do you have to go?" she whispered, as if she was expecting an answer. He looked at her: her perfect face with her azure eyes, cute nose, and those lips! Oh! How could he resist them? Her slender neck, her graceful shoulders, her . . . he forced his gaze to move upwards to her face. `Would it be a one-nighter to you?" he whispered back. She shook her head. "No, Link. I love you, and I know you are the person I want to spend my life with." He smiled inside, his heart filling with a joy he had never experienced. `So this is what love feels like, huh?' he thought.

"Zelda, I am leaving Hyrule for a while. I cannot tell you when I shall be back. Would you really wait for me to come back to you?" he said softly, wanting to know the answer. She stood there quietly, and Link's heart sank. She won't wait . . . He turned to leave, but she gripped his arm. He didn't budge. "Would you . . . You would come back, right? You WOULD come back to me?" she whispered, almost scared to know the answer. Link turned around and bent down to kiss her. It was a short kiss, but he channeled all his love through it. They parted, but just barely. He started nibbling on her neck. "I will come back to you, Zelda." he muttered against her skin. He slightly gave her a nudge to tell her to walk back into the room. He continued kissing her neck until they reached the bed and he put her down. She laid there, her golden locks spread around her. "You look like a Goddess," he breathed out, kissing her temple and then her cheeks, and finally her mouth, "I can't believe I was kept away from you for seven years, and all this time I had you right beside me."

Zelda began to cry. "Why are you leaving?" she breathed out, her voice full of pain and betrayal, and he could not help feeling guilty. "I . . . I can't stand the attention, I can't stand being the damn Hero of Time! Why was I picked for this task? I did not ask for any of it! I was kept prisoner for seven years, while everyone was getting killed, and suddenly they just wake me up and expect me to clean after that bastard Ganondorf!" he spat out.

She began crying again, and his eyes darted around, very nervous. "Shush, Princess, I got carried away. I'm sorry." He kissed her tears away and held her close. "I'm so sorry Link! You got every right to be mad, it's my entire fault. If I hadn't sent you to look for the Spiritual Stones, this would have never happened!" Link growled menacingly. "Zelda, I already told you: THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT. He would have gotten into the Sacred Realm by other means." His tone softened. `If it had not been for him, "he caressed her cheek with the back of his hand, "I wouldn't be here with you."

He kissed her again softly, but soon their kisses grew to hunger. His gloved hand rubbed roughly against her silky skin, and he ran his hand higher, pushing the skirt along with it. He did not stop until her skirt was hitched just below her thigh. Zelda whimpered as his hands pulled away, but just to take off his gloves, his hat, and his boots. He also placed his weapons carefully on the floor. He then carefully pulled the piece of fabric off his lover's chest.

The sight excited him. She had developed quite well, with full breasts and curvaceous hips. He bent down and kissed her cleavage, earning a moan of pleasure. This might have been his first time, but he knew exactly what to do. He cupped them in his hands and toyed with them, making sure he sucked on her strawberry-hued nipples. She trashed around the bed, too restless to stay still. He pulled away and removed her skirt and everything else.

He sat in front of her. "Do you want this, Princess?" She licked her lips, trying to wet them, because her mouth had gone dry, but the sight was an erotic one. "I want this more than anything, Link." she told him and he smiled.

He dove down and ran his tongue all over her folds. She moaned loudly as he sucked on her button, driving her into an orgasm. She cried out as his finger entered her just before her orgasm, soaking his finger with her sweet honey. He used it to his advantage, and pumped his finger in and out of her, using her fluids as a lubricant. Pretty soon he had three fingers in her, thrusting violently into her as she came again, this time she almost screamed. Link lapped the honey away, and when he finished, he gave her button a quick peck, causing another orgasm. He happily licked it off of her.

He looked at her face. Her eyes glazed with lust and her lips where parted open. "Now, it's my turn." she said seductively, taking his clothes off until he was completely naked. His size shocked her and made her blush furiously: he was a good 10 inches. He sat on the edge of the bed and she sat on the floor, and began sucking. He groaned and her virgin tongue licked his tip and all over his member, not leaving a spot untouched. He closed his eyes and felt her fingers rub him everywhere. But what happened next made him gasp.

She opened her mouth and took him in. She went in as far as she could, which was 5 inches and what she could not get in, she wrapped her hands around it and began her ministrations. Her head bobbed in and out and her hands made him climax, coming in her mouth. She swallowed all of it, liking his salty male taste. "Come here, you." he ordered huskily, making her desire grow. She lied in bed, her bottom facing him. He hovered on top of her, his hands on either side of her head, so his weight would not harm her.

"Open your legs, Princess." he whispered and she did so; she could not wait for him to be inside her. His tip brushed against her and she cried out. "Steady . . ." he muttered, as he entered her slowly. Zelda's breaths were becoming very labored, as inch by inch he entered her until he completely filled her. "You're a virgin, right?" he asked curiously. "Of course I am!" she answered hotly. "Do you suspect I-?" she was cut short when Link's mouth covered hers. They kissed for a few seconds and he broke apart. "Not at all. Zelda. Your virgin barrier just broke previously. It must have been all the fighting you did." he answered calmly.

"Ohhhh, would you please move?" she whispered. He smirked and began pumping in her slowly. He would pull out almost completely and then push himself in her again. But it was too slow for her liking. "Faster, harder, please!" she cried out, and he quickened the pace, his thrusting was now short, powerful strokes. "Ahhh!!! AHHHH!!! Oh Gods!!!" Zelda screamed, gritting her teeth. He gripped her hips and turned her so that she was facing him. His thumb rubbed her love button harshly and his other hands caressed her breasts. "I'M ALMOST THERE!" she cried, as she gripped the sheets tightly. "Look at me Zelda!" Link told her. "Look at me!" She opened her eyes, and she saw Link's expression of total concentration and pleasure. "This is what I'll do to you when I come back; this is what you'll miss the most. They way I fit you, the way I touch you, this is what'll keep you begging for me when I come back to you." She could only moan wildly as she reached the pure state of bliss. He pounded in her like a wild animal until he felt her walls clench and close around him. She came pouring down and he shot his load into her. They panted, tired and drained.

He exited her warmth, and lied down beside her. Soon enough, Zelda's pants died down to deep breathing. She could not believe what had just happened. He wrapped an arm around her figure and covered their bodies with the blanket. She snuggled against him until her back touched his chest. "I love you so much, Princess." he whispered into her ear. "I can't wait to make you my wife." She smiled sweetly. "I love you too." she said, and they both fell asleep, each other's breathing was their lullaby.
