Brooke and Crystal get off the bus and walk to their morning hangout spot. They were dressed in Black fish-net clothes and Black makeup. They had gone completely Goth after their friend Papercutt killed himself one year ago. They walked into the hall where they used to hangout with him. Sarah looked up at them, nodded, and looked back down. This was the morning routine. They don’t care what people think….…..But they wonder……..Why? Why did he do it? Jazmin won’t tell anyone. She hates talking about it! Cabe and his friend Chris make a joke out of his suicide. That even pisses Jazmin off. She adores Cabe but she saw Papercutt as a best friend and though she barely ever defended him, this was a subject that stressed her. He gave his life in the sense that the world would be better without him around. She thinks that his decision was retarded but she tries to carry on. Nobody expect that day to come……. But on that gloomy Monday morning one year ago…….. It did!!

7:00 a.m. Monday………..

Brooke and her boyfriend Kacey walk into the hall. The nod at the others as the grasped each others hand firmly. Kasey pulled out a picture of Papercutt and taped it to the wall. He then wrote the words A friend not to be forgotten!. Kacey’s spelling and handwriting had improved a lot over a year. Kacey will openly kiss his lover unlike he ever did before. He turned away from the wall and snuck in a peck. With the black of Brooke’s lipstick on his lips, he and she turned to walk away. Sarah looked up at his picture, smiled and walked away. She was glad that Kacey had matured after the incident. She knew he felt responsible for his death, But he kept a straight face.

9:07 a.m. Monday…………

Sarah walked up the bleachers, where they used to hang. Lorena came up and hugged her. She and Ducky started crying noticing more cuts on Sarah’s arm. They knew how hard Sarah was taking this so they hugged her again. Then David came up the bleachers. He nodded at everyone and they all sunk to the seat of the bleachers. Lorena being her perky self tried to lighten the mood.

“C’mon you guys you know he wouldn’t want us to by so down!” She said fighting her tears.

David and Sarah looked at her and the lowered their heads.

“I was such a Bitch!” Sarah said aloud.

“And I misunderstood!” David said.

Then Kacey came up the bleachers.

“Another day without happiness I presume!” He said sinking to the seat below Sarah.

“I hate that I was so mean! I mean I called him ugly!” Lorena said.

Just then a tall figure stood in front of them. It was Brooke!

She prepared to explain the reason he did it!

The others just looked at her in despair as she took a breather and held back tears. She sat next to her boyfriend and layed her head on his shoulder. He layed his head on hers as they wept and the period went on in grievance.
