In Gotham City all was still. The skin shaking snow was blown by the winter winds, its objective: to bring cold to all. In the city centre the streets were deserted and snow filled, and the shops were probably abandoned of eager women trying to force itchy clothes onto their unfortunate children, you could not see as the windows were frozen over.

A figure appeared round the corner of a shop that had a `Perfect House' sign (it supposedly sold houses) wearing short, inappropriate garments. She was a female teenager with long hair and green eyes. She was quite tall and her clothes were a sort of purple colour.

However her charming face had several cuts and bruises on that matched her legs and arms, she had clearly been in a fight. Suddenly a voice called “Starfire!” from in front of her. The girl ran then jumped into the chilling air and flew quickly towards 3 figures a few blocks away. When she arrived she first noticed the one who had called her it was a rather small boy who had green skin, slightly darker green hair and a black leotard with a purple stripe through the middle accompanied by a belt. She then saw a boy who was a lot taller than the other and seemed to be half human half robot. They were both covered in cuts and bruises (the smaller boy was limping slightly) and were backing away from the other figure. It was 3ft, half human (sort of) and half wolf (sort of) split across the waist. The human half had long maroon coloured hair, sharp teeth, all black eyes, tanned skin and long jagged fingernails joined to a hand that was clutching a long bronze metal pole with a dagger on one end and some sort of electronic shocking device on the other. The wolf half was a maroon/brown sort of colour with a long, bronze metal tail. The creature raised its pole with the dagger end facing the boys preparing to stab them but Starfire raised her hand, it glowed with green energy around her palm and she threw it at the creature making it howl and back away. It ran into a nearby alleyway and disappeared in the shadows.

Starfire floated down beside the boys “Beast boy, Cyborg you are undamaged?” “We're Ok but BB's broken his ankle” replied the half human half robot who appeared to be Cyborg. “How long have we been fighting the Wolfrecks?” asked Starfire “I'd say about 3 hours” Beast Boy replied. “Actually,” said a voice from the shadows “It's only been 2 hours” The group turned and faced the alley way. “The Maroon wolfreck appeared this time accompanied by 5 more of them. 2 of them were identical with long black hair, a black wolf body and a gold metal tail. Another was a half women/wolf with blonde hair, golden wolf coat and bronze tail and the other was a man/wolf with blue hair (and beard), dark grey wolf coat and silver metal tail. They all smiled after seeing the look of sorrow and annoyance in the other groups face then all of a sudden they threw their metal poles (all matching tail metal) at them. Just as the daggers were about to go through the groups stomachs they were surrounded in black projectiles yet the Wolfrecks weren't, this could only mean one thing “Raven!” shouted Beast Boy “Robin!” screamed Starfire two figures were approaching at a fast speed. One was in the air levitating she had a black leotard on, with a yellow belt and a blue hooded cape. Her hair was reasonably long and purple and her skin was somewhat corpsy and pale. Her right hand was rimmed with whit but surrounded in a ball of black projectiles; she had obviously created the shield. Next to her on the ground was a `taller than Beast boy smaller than Cyborg' boy. His hair was black and naturally spiky and his eyes were covered with a white centred- black rimmed mask. He was wearing a tight red centred - green sleeved T - shirt, tight green pants, a yellow inside black outside cape, green gloves, black shoes with metal on the bottom, a yellow belt with a strange display of pockets and his T- shirt had a small, black circle on the breast with a yellow `R' on it. They also both had cuts and bruises on their body.
