Secrets among the Lost Boys
-1-
"Tink...if Peter comes for me, Tell him I'm hunting pirates..." Lynx said, in a soft tone, into the small clock home of the pixie. Turn and heading off towards the Lagoon of Mermaids, not really to hunt Pirates, but to be away and to think. Several things were running through Lynx's mind, like how the secret would be kept. Only other person who know this Lost Boys secret was Tink, and a few of the mermaids, all whom promised to keep the secret. Coming to the edge of the huge treehouse's walk, Lynx took to flight, legs half spread, happy thought, arms straight to the sides, soaring faster and faster to the clouds, to fly like a bird, a coy smile on the young tanned face. Soon Lynx's feet landed on the lush green earth of NeverLand's Mermaid Lagoon, bold green eyes full of mischeif, secrets, and plots twinkling in the bright sunlight, looking out on the rippling blue water. Below it's glassy surface three mermaids, holding Lynx's secret, were swimming towards the top, towards the blurred image of the Lost Boy.
"Mmm...the sun is bright...the air is warm and thick with the smell of the sea..." Lynx casually thought to himself, bending at the knee's to kneel on the grass, he wore some stolen pants, used to belong to pirates, classice peppermint red and white striped ones, and old hat from the notorious Captain James Hook, bright red curls tucked into it, a red bandanna tied about his neck, a long curling white feather, tattered in one place, jutted from the faded black hat. Old shoes from Peter, a torn long sleeve shirt of sorts, something handed down from the other boys. Dirt smudged on the cheeks, a smile on the lips, strong, healthy, young.
"Lynx!" A sweet feminine voice called after a small splash of water. Turning Lynx spotted the first of the three water madiens. A golden haired mermaid called Jizella.
"Jizella!" He cried back in his young, slightly high toned voice, crawling over to the side of the water. "How is everything? where are the others?"
"Gabrielle, and Malory are coming, the rest are all down below, the cove is ours today" She smiled, the curls wet, and shimmering, she had soft golden irradecent scales, along her tail, the end like chiffon, translucent and glittering, a few shells adorned her hair, bright gold eyes peered at the youthful boy, as he smiled back. Soon Malory and Gabrielle broke the surface.
"Lynx!" they both cheerfully cried in unison, coming up besides Jizella.
"Ah, Hello there girls!" He smiles and nodded. Gabrielle had blue scales and midnight black hair, that in the bright sun, had deep blue racing along the strands, when wet was like black oil, floating about her. Malory had brilliant green scales and brilliant red hair, like fire, and contrasting dark green eyes, to Gabrielle's mute grey eyes. The were bare at the chest, small pert breasts, bright pink nipples, which typically brung many a giggles from the young Lost boys, with exception of Lynx, but then...Lynx was different.
"Are we ready to go to the Cove?" He asked, standing, dusting the grass off his knee's, the three mermaids, nodded and dove under, swimming towards the cove. Lynx, placing his hands on his lower back, stretched and walked towards the cool, dim cave, where many times he and the girls hair their secret meetings.
Once all were in, and setteled, the mermaids on each their respective rocks, and Lynx on the sandy shore near the cool water, all facing each other, smiling, quiet, just enjoying the company. Outside, in the every turning world of Neverland, everyone went on, no one noticing the missing child, no one noticing the missing girls.
" What adventurs have you three been on?" Small chat began, quickly rising and falling, mingling with giggles and stories of life in the fantasy land, where no one has to grow up.

"Lost boys!!" came the cheerful voice of the one and only Peter Pan, clad in his green attire, soaring through the air like a grand falcon, and taking a nose dive, only to land safely on his feet. "Lost boys!? Tink!?" His voice called into the empty Treehouse, their home and haven. Taking a few steps and taking his hat off to scratch his head full of reddish brown hair, short, never able to cover his slightly pointy ears, a smirk of pure mischeif on his face. "Anyone home?....I guess not" He answered himself, sitting down on the railing of the tree, near Tink's little clock house. "Where did everyone go?" He mused to himself, before pushing off the railing and taking to the air. "Mermaid Lagoon ahoy!" He bellowed into the air, it reverberating against the lush woods, soon followed by his shrill rooster call, as he disappeared among the tree's.
Flying admist the clouds, he was soon spotted by Tink, taking to the air, with her little shimmering insect like wings, she caught up to the side of him, her little green dress moving in the swift air currents, her little golden bun threatening to come undone, her magical pixie dust making a comet tail behind her.
"Hello Tink! Where is everyone?" He asked turning his head to spot the little lady before looking ahead. A small chain of chimes and tinking sounds came from the pixie, her form of communication, like that of several small bells ringing as she motioned with her small delicate hands.
"Half of them are with the Indians? and the others are all hunting you say?" As he arched a brow, and she returning it with a enthusiastica nod, then holding a finger up and making more soft sounds.
"Ex cept Lynx?...He's hunting pirates?" Stopping mid-air to regard what was just told. "He was the most adventrous, sometimes...more then he needs to be" He muttered as Tinkerbell nodded in agreement, hovering high above the Mermaid Lagoon and Cove.
Peter perked his head, and tilted his ear, hearing the voices echo from the cove. "ah ha!! he's with the mermaids!!" He proclaimed and went nose diving straight down, a distraught Tink tugging on his shirt collar, she knowing full well that Lynx was there, and not wanting to be discovered. Seeing as she couldn't get Peter to stop, she shot ahead of him like a firefly from hell, flying into the cove where everyone was, casting a little bit of light as she drew near Lynx.
"Tink!" He said shocked, his hat was off, and on the floor near his crossed legs, long bright red curls spilled about his neck and shoulders, a bit long for a boy, but lovely hair none the less. "What! Peter!?" Having heard Tink's news about the ever quickly approaching Peter, he stood up quicly and tucked all his hair into the hair, and motioned for the girls to keep whatever was said here a complete secret. "Thanks Tink.." He whispers just as the crowing Peter landed inside the cove.
"Peter!" The mermaids cried in their happy sweet voices.
"Girls! Lynx!" He smiled and walked forward, proud and happy.
"Peter! How did you find me?" Lynx asked, playing off slight worry that he may have been told, but soon relaxed as Peter didn't show any difference in his demenor.
"Ah, Tink said you were hunting pirates, but I heard you and the girls and knew otherwise, you sly devil you." He grinned and winked, walking over and nudging Lynx in the ribs with his elbow, Lynx partially blushed, as the mermaids and Tink giggled madly.
