I was running as fast as I could go. I had to get away from him before he found out the secret. No, that’s not correct...before he found out our entire family’s secret. The forest was thick and dark and I did not know where I was going. I did not care where I was going; all I knew was that I had to get away from him before he got us. I could hear his footsteps behind me as I ran through the forest. I knew I had to find a place where we would be safe from people like him. It was not fair; I did not ever do anything to harm him, not ever! Maybe I should Tell you how this all started.
